Thank you to everyone who's auditioned! As always, this is turning out to be a very difficult decision - certainly the kind of problem I like to have. :) I'll be reaching out to everyone individually when we reach a decision, and that will happen within the next couple of days.
Dex is a confident young man who has been taken captive by the season's primary villain, the Morningstar. As the person who's been in captivity the longest, he's taken on a leadership role in spite of his youth. He should come off as kind but firm.
[a new captive, who arrived unconscious and injured, has woken up and tried to stand, but almost collapses]
Hey, hey, what did I say about sitting up? You need to rest. Here. Have some water. I’m going to get a doctor to take a look at you, now that you’re up. Okay?
[trying to evoke a feeling of normalcy]

Those Blood Eagles may have done us a hell of a favor. Nobody’s going to come looking for us, but it sounds like an army might be on their way to find her.

This person is a settler type who's beating is plowshare back into a sword and is ready to fight to preserve what has already been built.
We’re ready to fight for the future of Appalachia.
This response is to a roll call just before a military operation.
