On my own with Tear-stained eyes
Project Overview
"On my own with Tear-stained eyes" is a mid-length film about accepting grief, dealing with depression, and moving on. One of the characters in the film is based on a real person who is suffering from breast cancer, and this project is inspired by him, and of my own personal experiences, while incorporating new and exiting moments that make the experience of watching this film enjoyable and deep. All auditions require a demonstration of your work. If you are new to casting call, and have no projects under your belt already, I will give you a prompt, to use. This is my first project, so I hope it ends up as a success! Edit note: Good news, the real "Erik" Beat Cancer!

Latori is the lead character of the project. He's a teenage male who cannot find his place in this world, and is suffering from depression. People often "Breathe down his neck".

A teenage girl who has an innate fascination with the natural world, and is friends with Latori

Someone who has supported and helped Latori since the beginning, and always seems of a greater power.

Although "The ones" is shown as 2 characters, they are treated as one from the voice acting standpoint. Use one voice and edit it so that there's a higher version, and lower version of the same voice, playing simultaneously. The characters are Latori's parents, and often shame him and put him under strict limits, expanding the most minimal of problems.

The physical manifestation of Latori's depression, and pain. Often tries to violently murder Latori when he is alone. Has a black shape with an ink-like texture.

A guy who always has a deep expression on his face. Is one of the rare males with Breast Cancer, and he cannot use his hands or wrists. Latori saves money to send to him, to help his survival rate increase, but at the moment, his survival rate is quite low. He is based on a real person (Erik is not his real name, for privacy reasons) and I hope that the real "Erik" survives.
