OMORI: The Musical.
Project Overview
OMORI, a game by OMOCAT, is a psychological horror RPG that has been incredibly well received. My goal in creating this project is to create a tribute to the game and the emotions I've felt because of it, as well as creating a new way for people to experience the game. I will need voice actors, writers, video editors, audio mixers and lyricists to help with the project. As of yet, none of the songs from the game have lyrics but the video will consist of all important songs with relevant and meaningful lyrics that fit the melody.

SUNNY is the protagonist of the game. He navigates life awkwardly and mostly silently, adjusting to life after a certain traumatic event that reveals itself later in the game. The game consists of him healing from his trauma and overcoming his fears, learning to love himself once again.
(Note: While SUNNY follows the common RPG trope of the 'silent protagonist', he will have sung lines. Spoken lines are unlikely but may be written into the project if needed. Because of his silent nature, feel free to focus more on improvised lines and vocalisations, grunts, mumbles and other sound effects. You're also welcome to upload a demo reel or any improvised lines, sung or spoken, that you think would suit the role.)
BASIL, the tritagonist and best friend of SUNNY, plays a major role in the story. He has a shy, kind and caring nature but family issues and abandonment issues have caused an obsessive, clingy nature.
These flowers are called lily of the valley. It's said that they're able to ward off evil spirits and help people see a brighter future... I guess that's why they remind me of MARI. I can always count on her to help me stay positive.
Maybe one day... things can go back to the way they were before.

OMORI, the alter-ego, protagonist and later antagonist of the game, should sound like a younger, more monotone SUNNY. His dialogue will come later, during the final fight, though he should have various vocaloisations throughout the game. He may have sung lines, but this is undecided.
You killed MARI. She loved you and you killed her.
Your friends are wrong about you. The person they love isn't you at all.
You've caused so much suffering... Yet you do nothing. And so you've earned nothing in return. Your friends will never forgive you.
So... Do you need me to help you with anything? All it costs is your love!
It's not my place to say anymore, but... I hope you're still there, SUNNY... I really miss you.
OMORI, I'm so proud of you. You swam all the way here, even though you've always been terrified of water. But there's still one big thing you're afraid of, isn't there? Something... a little bit harder to overcome.
KEL's older brother. HERO should sound charismatic, and older than SUNNY and the others. His voice should be deep-ish, keep in mind that he is college-age!
So SUNNY, I heard from Mom that you're moving away soon! That sounds so exciting!

SUNNY and BASIL became more closed off... KEL made a bunch of friends playing sports... and HERO always seemed to be busy studying.
I was so angry at how life kept moving on.
Artists are needed for important musical scenes. I don't intend for the entire video to be footage from the game, art will be used during songs, most likely with lyrics over it. As THE MAVERICK, give us a voice that tells us you know you're important. Or trying too hard. The third line should be read as desperate, but all lines should be over-the-top. Consider a voice outside of your typical range? THE MAVERICK puts on a cool attitude to hide the identity he is ashamed of, and this could be represented by using a voice that is deeper than roles you'd typically take on.

I myself am skilled at writing, sequencing, some video editing and other areas but audio editing is certainly not my area of expertise. It is highly likely multiple audio engineers will be chosen for the project, and work may be divided between dialogue and songs.
