In a small, forest village in the long-subjugated nation of Lumierè, a sacred tradition had long been upheld. When someone became of age, they would learn of their destiny from the Futureseer - a woman, worshipped almost like a deity, who had the power to peer into people's futures - a power that was passed onto her descendants, so their tradition could continue long into the future.

The main protagonist of the story. A young girl destined to become the Hero Queen. She is an outgoing, kind-hearted young girl who turns eighteen at the start of the story, and who acts in an almost childlike manner at times.
"I left a note because I was too scared to see their reaction. I mean, how do you think your parents would react of you suddenly told them you had to go off and do dangerous things, Apollo!?" (Said a worried and scared tone)
"That sounds like your Dad, alright. Such a dedicated mechanic." (Said in a happy, warm tone)
"Momentum Burst!"
A rather eccentric young man who is destined to become Alice's Royal Advisor. Kind of like the Dad of the main group. Works harder than anyone else to achieve his destiny.
"Is her royal highness displeased with the choice of transportation? Shall I request a horse-drawn carriage?" (Mocking tone)
"Now, now, no more comments against my Dad's truck, please! Only I'm allowed to complain about it!" (In a proud tone)
"Don't even think about it!" (Raise your voice, also try to make the line sound comedic)
A rather full of herself woman in her twenties who can be rather loud and rude at times. Keeps her destiny a secret, but it is very important to her. Despite appearances, she cares deeply for her friends, especially Alice.
"Hey hey, Alice. Why don't we take the truck and go, just the two of us? Hee hee." (Sly yet comedic tone)
"Huh!? THAT'S what we're travelling in!?" (Surprised and disgusted tone)
"Guardian!"
An anger prone young man who turned eighteen around the same time as Alice. Rather egotistical and views himself as better than others, but is trying his best to find his place in the world.
"Flameblade!" (in a yell or loud voice)
"Am I not good enough!? What does she have that I don't!?" (Agitated)
"Hey Alice. I wanna hear it again. What the futureseer said"
A rather cold and uncaring lieutenant that Alice picks a fight with. Never seen without a cigarette, hates his job and authority.
"Well, I think that's enough, boys. Time to end this"
"That was quite the punch, girly. Hey, you were in that ugly-looking truck from before, weren't you? What's your name?"
"My name is Capri Petridis. First Lieutenant of the Stratus Empire Imperial Army. I'm the... boss of this checkpoint"
A rather cold-hearted woman who is dedicated, to the point of obsession to furthering Azazel's goals. Of considerable rank herself and merciless in battle.
"The Wild Card... is it her curse that intrigues you, sir?" (Curious)
"With pleasure, sir" (Obedient)
A sweet girl who loves to read and mainly keeps to herself. She acts as the resistance's librarian, and sees it has her duty to protect the literature they're recovered. Becomes flustered whenever someone sees her wearing her glasses.
"Oh, lovely! I'm sure the Captain will be happy to have you on board. However..." (Excited, leading into disappointment)
"My name is Mirri! It's a pleasure to meet you" (Cheerful)
"Here we are!"
Leader of the resistance, a gifted leader who inspires those around him who keeps his cool at all times. Tells too many dad jokes. Kind of a Captain America type figure, refuses to give up fighting for what is right.
"Wait a second... a party of four, one with silver hair... you wouldn't happen to be the ones who took down a checkpoint a few days ago, would you?" (Curious)
"The name's Everett, by the way, but everyone here just calls me Captain" (warm tone)
The resistance's hero, kind of an embodiment of shounen cliches. Tries to help anyone even if it means prying his nose in their business.
"Yup, that's me. You know... I'm not usually into sparring with new recruits, but... I'm not sure I liked the way you spoke to your friend just now." (A happy tone that gradually gets darker)
"Anyway, my name is Akio! Call me that. Feels weird, being called hero in your casual conversation" (playful)
"Seems that one wasn't happy with you either" (Sarcastic)
A twisted, yet eccentric scientist and general. Takes an interest in Alice and seems to have some kind of grand plan up his sleeve. Basically an Alice in Wonderland reference, you could consider him a very old Mad Hatter.
"An entire checkpoint, guarded by Stratus' finest, defeated by four children. How pitiful"
"I think she's certainly worth... observation..."
"Anyway, I would've thought children would've been no match for one such as yourself"
Number 3 on the Royal Ranking - the third strongest member of the Lumiere resistance. An older man that's been fighting the enemy for probably a little too long, but cares too much for the people around him to stop. Might be too quick to order a drink after a fight.
"Huh? Whoever said anything about wanting to become King? That said... I hear I could get all the booze I want that way!"
"Oh, sorry, big guy, but you made a real big mistake pissing me off."
"You gonna be alright, kid?"
Number 4 on the Royal Ranking. A gifted healer that isn't huge on helping others unless she really has to. After a turbulent childhood, in her adult life she is quiet yet stubborn.
"Okay, there, I healed you... that'll be a million bucks."
"All you Stratus guys are all the same... why can't you just accept people for who they are?!"
"Angel Enchant!"
