Welcome to the Rubber Ducky FanClub’s first project; No Game No Life Abridged!
We are looking for a team made up of talented directors, writers, editors and voice actors alike! Our goal is not just to make the anime comedic, but to also rewrite it to improve and make it even better than the original! We strive to have the end product be the very best it can be.
We will work hard on this project together as a team, so please have time during the month of August and September and have a Discord!
Voice actors, some characters will be making very minor appearances but will still need a voice! So please keep in mind that you might be cast to play one of these minor roles later in production. And please know that the lines written in the auditions are taken from the original anime, and the characters are able to change to how the writer sees fit.

We will need someone comedic and creative to write the Voice Actors and Editor a script.
Your goal will not only be to rewrite No Game No Life in a comedic way, but to also change some aspects to make it even better than the original!
For example:
-Our protagonists will be less overpowered and more relatable.
-Instead of being incredibly intelligent and planning everything ahead, Sora and Shiro will win all their games on luck.
-Instead of a ‘No Cheating’ Rule, cheating is allowed but…
Of course these are just suggestions though! You, as the writer, will be in charge of rewriting the anime.

We will need an editor and audio engineer. Your job will consist of editing segments from the anime, lip flaps and even clips outside of the source material to create 10-15 Minute episodes.
This will be based on the writer’s script, but please feel free to work together with the writer to make the completed product the very best it can be!
It would be amazing if you as the editor could also double as the audio engineer, though it’s no problem if you’d like to apply for just one of these jobs.
As an audio engineer, your job will be to take raw recordings from the voice actors and clean them up to all sound clean and similar. Before sending the recordings to the editor, you will put them in order following the writer’s script.

Sora will be one of our lead roles. He is a shut-in gamer accompanied by his step-sister, Shiro. Sora is outgoing, confident and charismatic.
(Calm, Confident) “So.. As long as you don’t actually lose to her, you can go home and tell all your friends whatever you want. Am I right?” (Mimicking other character) “Oh I won because she was so pathetic I let her go!”
(Creepily, Overdramatic) “Well then, it’s time to tell you.. What my little favor will be… Fall… IN LOVE WITH ME!”
(Overdramatic, exaggerated, confessing) “Oh, my sister! I had no idea such a cute, beautiful girl was so close to me this whole time! My blindness makes me want to gouge out my eyes!” (Exaggerated crying) “Shiro? Are you rejecting your brother’s love?? Shiro! My beloved Shiro!”
Shiro will be one of our lead roles. Like her step-brother, Sora, she is also a shut-in gamer.
Shiro is very quiet and soft-spoken. She rarely shows emotion and speaks in a slow manner. We would like her voice to be high-pitched but soft.
“Chess is no different, from Tic-Tac-Toe.”
“Brother, can you beat that?”
(Defeated) “I haven’t fought this hard in a long time.. Were they really human?”
(Confused, in tears) “What’s going on? This game is total crap!”
Steph is the first person our lead roles, Sora and Shiro, meet.
She is expressive, emotional, and hyper but also kind-hearted. Steph’s voice should constantly switch pitches between a somewhat exaggerated medium range to cutesy-high.
(Exaggerated, shouting) “No! This isn’t right! I didn’t mean to say that!” (Cutesy) “Yes? Gladly!”
“Wait! They’re one of the three biggest countries in the world!”
(Surprised, defeated) “He used my own cheat to beat me?” *Smacks into wall* “Aow..”
Jibril is a Flugel who has a love for knowledge. She is polite but arrogant. Jibril is very enthusiastic whenever it comes to learning something new. Her voice constantly switches between a deeper, more mature pitch to an exaggerated higher pitch.
“Master! My master, please come back to me!”
(Exaggerated high-pitched) “Th-That’s fine, but…” (Serious, deep tone) “You don’t mind if I defeat her,” (Back to exaggerated high-pitched) “Do you?”
“Hello there, puppy. Master told me to buy time, but since I’m here… Let’s have some fun.”
Tet is the god of this world. He is playful, bright and childish. His voice sounds like that of a young boy.
“Me? I’m Tet! A god! I live over there!”
“But I, the One True God, shall give you a name. Immanity.”
“As of this day, the world will be forever changed!” (Excited) “Now! Let’s keep this game going!”
