LAGOONA BLUE [RECAST] πβ¨
Project Overview
LAGOONA BLUE RECAST πβ¨
currently seeking a new voice actress for Lagoona Blue in my upcoming Monster High machinima project titled: Cleuce.
Cleuce follows Cleo de Nile and Deuce Gorgon as they embark on creating content for their couple's YouTube channel. for this video, they film a whole entire music video to be the new and improved intro for their couples channel. the story takes place through a behind-the-scenes vlog format, giving viewers a look at the chaos, friendships, and funny moments that happen during the production of their music video.
Lagoona is one of Cleo's closest friends and has been invited to appear as one of the music video's featured "video vixens" alongside Cleo's other best ghoulfriends: Draculaura, Frankie, and Clawdeen. while the music video itself is a major part of the story, the video primarily focuses on the behind-the-scenes experience of creating it, allowing the characters' personalities and friendships to shine through.
Lagoona has several speaking scenes throughout the project and plays an active role in the group's dynamic. She is warm, supportive, easygoing, and serves as one of the friend group's grounding presences.
this is also intended to be a long-term role. i would like for the actress cast as Lagoona to make future appearances in my larger Monster High machinima series, Keeping Up With The Ghouls, where Lagoona will continue to appear alongside the rest of the main cast.
iβm especially looking for someone who is not only a strong fit vocally for Lagoona, but also someone with solid communication and reliability moving forward. ---HEAVY ON THAT---
the series is a more mature, 18+ reimagining of Monster High with comedy, drama, strong language, adult humor/themes, and character-driven storytelling while still keeping the charm and heart of the original characters.
a believable australian accent is VERY important for the role. natural and authentic is preferred over anything overly exaggerated or cartoonish.

Lagoona is sweet, friendly, and effortlessly chill. She has a warm, easygoing personality. Sheβs kind, supportive, and emotionally aware, with a calm confidence that makes her very likable.
While she's generally upbeat and optimistic, she isn't overly bubbly or hyper. Her energy is relaxed, natural, and grounded. She has a nurturing side and often comes across as the emotional anchor of her friend group. Even when she's excited, it should feel genuine and easygoing rather than loud or over-the-top.
Lagoona is a sea monster from the Great Barrier Reef, so her Australian accent is essential to her character. The accent should not feel forced or exaggerated, it should sound natural and effortless. Please avoid overly caricatured or stereotypical Australian accents. Think friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth. Someone who instantly makes others feel comfortable around her.

Yeah. But, thatβs Cleo for you. Sheβs definitely in her element, Iβll give her that. She knows exactly what she wants, and sheβs not afraid to say it. Now I can fully understand what the other ghouls mean when they say sheβs like a drill sergeant during their fearleading practices.
Draculauraβ¦ get your head in the game, mate! Right now youβre dancing like a fish flopping around on a boat deck! Tighten up those movements, quit all that crying nonsense, and hit the bloody count before I get embarrassed to even be standing next to you!
Itβs okay, love. Youβll get it. We're all here to support you. Just take your time.
