Right so here we are again, sad news being that the VA for Rust has decided he's not fit enough to the job so we are Recasting Rust! As well as looking for other characters and people to help with production.
For those of you who don't know about NITE, here is what I put down for the original Casting Call!
"NITE! This is a RWBY Fan Audio Series that is non-canonical obviously and happens at the same time as RWBY.
The Story will follow Team NITE and their adventures in Shade Academy.
Why Shade?
We have a reason for choosing Shade Academy and that is because we want the story to be somewhat original. If we did it in Beacon, we would have to work around Season 1 and somehow make NITE interesting while the things with Team RWBY and JNPR are happening.
We decided not to go to Mistral because of Cinder's 'team' being in Haven as well as it being introduced in the latest season and Atlas was a close option but it could possibly conflict with the Canon story.

Yeah so... the timeline has a year or so before RWBY... so we have more creative Freedom. Other than that the project is the same.

Summary
Follow Team NITE throughout their adventures in Shade Academy! Many good, bad, emotional and sometimes just outright random! Follow these 4 kind of Unique individuals in their journey to gain each others trust, prove themselves to not just each other but everyone else!
Watch them team up with team CNBR and IRIS!

Rust, T of Team NITE, Was born into a large family. Due to this he was forced to mature faster than others would, and thus he doesn't seek praise from his family, the only person he does seek the appraisal of would be his mother.
His father was very demanding of all of his children, training them all to be Top Combatants, even if they didn’t want to be. With Rust seeming to be the most skilled at combat compared to all of them, his father sought to develop that by being the hardest on him.
He also developed a rivalry with his younger sister, Aeris, with who he would always quarrel and compete against. Although Aeris would best him in physical combat at times, he would always triumph over her in mental challenges. By age 15 he completely left home, becoming a nomad. For 2 years he roamed remnant, learning about the 4 kingdoms cultures and acquiring many skills . Despite never formally attending combat school he is familiar in many types of combat, however he is the most proficient with Axes and Spear type weapons. He is also an adept marksman. Along his travels he created his trusty mechanical owl companion -

Appearance: Black hair, tan skin, average build and height. Wears a white dress shirt underneath an armour chestplate and a brown jacket. When not in combat his face mask is on top of his head, similar to a welding mask. He has one falconry glove on his right arm and has a shoulder pad on his left shoulder. He wears grey trousers and black combat boots.

The voice is also noted by the creator to be 'charismatic'

We need artists to help create Visual Novel like things, basically anime artstyle.
Though the main thing we need from artists are the ability to draw characters and environment to give our modeller and animator something to work from.
