📖 PROJECT OVERVIEW
“They once called her a guardian of light… until betrayal turned her into a monster.”
When the last nine-tailed fox, Yuna, awakens after centuries of slumber, she disguises herself as a palace dancer to reclaim her stolen power—and uncover the truth behind a kingdom built on blood and betrayal. But as her vengeance unfolds, she forms an unlikely bond with Ami, a human girl desperate to save her sister, and Renjiro, the lonely king she swore to hate. Love, power, and tragedy intertwine in a battle between past lives and present hearts.
This project will be one of the more challenging projects to pull off, as the story is longer than my typical voice acted stories (around 20–30 mins), meaning a larger script and intensely emotional scenes are required. Emotions are a must — characters are layered and conflicted, with moments of heartbreak, longing, and dramatic tension throughout.

Heads up: Main character scripts often run 1,200–1,500 words per character, side characters range between 400–600 words, and background characters have a few lines each.

Yuna is a nine tailed fox spirit who has lost most of her memories and powers, awakening in a human world she once protected. She is proud, cold, and wary of humans, carrying centuries of loss, grief, and anger. Beneath her sharp exterior lies a conflicted heart capable of deep love and loyalty.
Personality: Proud, guarded, distant, calculating, but capable of warmth and vulnerability as she bonds with Ami and Renjiro.
Voice Style: Calm, measured, ethereal, with a subtle intensity; sharp and commanding when angry, soft and introspective when vulnerable.

Renjiro is a young king burdened by a crown that feels more like a cage. Starts off naive and lonely, he grows into someone who is able to stand his ground. Beneath his calm composure lies a man longing for freedom, love, and redemption.
Personality: Noble, empathetic, quietly passionate, melancholic
Voice Style: Deep, steady, thoughtful

Ami is a brave, selfless girl driven by love for her dying sister. Though human, she carries a quiet strength and optimism that softens even Yuna’s hardened heart. She is kindhearted and even see's Yuna, a nine tailed fox, as a friend.
Personality: Loyal, self-sacrificing, compassionate, innocent yet mature beyond her age
Voice Style: Warm, youthful, sincere

The Minister is cunning and power-hungry, a man whose charm masks cruelty. He manipulates the king and kingdom alike, justifying his corruption as loyalty to the throne. He aims to control the throne in the shadows, and when Yuna steps into the picture his plans crumble.
Personality: Deceptive, calculating, ambitious, cruel when cornered.
Voice Style: Polished and commanding at first; becomes panicked and desperate later.
Core Emotions: Greed, superiority, fear, manipulation.

The Narrator carries the soul of an ancient storyteller. They are calm and poetic. Their voice paints each scene with a sense of fate and timeless sorrow.
Personality: Serene, wise, emotionally detached yet deeply empathetic.
Voice Style: Calm, mythic, cinematic; the tone should feel like a legend being retold

These characters fill the world with life, reacting to the main events with urgency, curiosity, or fear. Their lines are brief but must feel natural and varied to create a living environment. Characters include a servant, a guard and a second minister.
