Project Overview
I'm still figuring out how to use this website, but I would like to animate some scenes with some characters that I will be slowly adding here!
The story follows Oni, a winged cat born into the deeply religious, cult-like Singing Crows colony. Her white fur, red-pink eyes, and mismatched wings make her an outcast from birth; a living omen according to her clan’s beliefs. Her mother, Persephone, tries to protect her, but when Oni reaches her adolescence, the clan turns on them both. Persephone is executed. Oni is maimed and thrown into a river to drown.
She doesn’t die.
Nevermore is about grief, transformation, and the line between curse and survival. It’s the story of a girl who wasn’t allowed to live, and instead, chooses to burn the world that hurt her.
