About the Podcast -
The Nest of Horrors Podcast is a short horror story telling podcast in the style of nosleep and creepypod. We make short horror stories submitted to us by authors and we create full cast audio productions, complete with music and sound design.

Compensation - (Please Read)
At this moment in time the podcast is not able to offer you compensation for your work, however, this will change as soon as the podcast starts making money.
Before Auditioning -
Our podcast is more about quality rather the quantity, and is for this reason we have some requirements that you need to meet before you submit an audition;
- A high-quality microphone, we will not accept auditions recorded on a laptop or headset mic, I wish we could but quality is important to us.
- Minimal background noise, it can be hard to have no background noise without a booth a low noise floor microphone, thankfully small amounts of noise can be covered up with music and sound design so we're not expecting perfection but make sure it's minimal.
- Communication, there is a time frame within which we prefer to have the current episode finished by, not being able to finish on time is not that big of a deal as long as you make us aware so that we are not guessing as to what is going on.
- Patience and cooperation, if we choose you for a role, and you submit an audio that has issues with your acting, or background noise (e.g. traffic or dog barking) we will ask you to rerecord until we are happy with the result, if you fail to cooperate, we will give the role to someone else. we are serious about this project and we expect you to be as well.
Casting -
We will not cast anyone until the casting call is closed, which means you are just as likely to get the role regardless of when you submit the audition.

A young cat owner who dreams of their missing cat, only to realize something is terribly wrong.
All in all, I wouldn't consider myself to be afraid of the dark. At least, I wasn't until that... THING showed up. It all started when my cat, Boots, went missing.
It took me through the woods behind my house. The trees were so thick that it was hard to see, but somehow, I never lost sight of the sleek feline before me.
A young husband plagued by ticks within his home. He dreams of an infestation, quickly losing sleep and sanity as thing progress from bad to worse.
Have you ever had a tick on you? The awful crawling sensation, the violation of their bodies embedded in your flesh, and worst of all, the sickening way they cling to you when you try to remove them.
"Get in the car, we have to go!"
Standing in our doorway loomed a figure. Small, shriveled, with long stringy hair. It took steps towards us. Darla flipped the lamp on, saying something about us being armed, which was a lie.
Roger's wife, who struggles to comprehend her husband's fear.
"Roger, what the hell? are you alright?"
"Maybe you dreamed it, like you hadn't really woken up before you got up?"
'Roger, I don't see anything..."
