Mythos SMP | MINECRAFT ROLEPLAY | Crew and Voice Actors needed!
Project Overview
WELCOME TO MYTHOS!!
Mythos is a story driven modded Minecraft series filled with interesting NPCs, exhilarating dungeons, and a welcoming community. We're primarily made up of streamers, and our goal is to tell a fun story for a wide audience that the content creators are able to shape and experience themselves.
We've been creating content for Mythos for about a year now with a fully engaged audience and growing fanbase. The series is still going strong, but in order to keep growing and achieve new heights in production we need more help behind the scenes. The main thing we need at the moment are builders to help produces high quality locations that will contribute to the world being built.
However, we are also looking for voice actors for major characters in upcoming arcs. This is so characters can have unique voices for cinematic scenes, trailers, promotional material, and the eventual Youtube adaptation of our vods. Voice actors would effectively be a part of our team, and in addition to voicing their cast roles, will also have the opportunity to voice other future characters as deemed necessary.
This project is a dream come true for many of our creators and we want to see it become bigger. Your passion and help is what we need to achieve that. If you’re interested in joining this project we look forward to hearing from you and hopefully working with you!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
You MUST have Discord. This is just to make it easier to contact everyone at once. (feel free to leave your discord in your audition)
Please be committed. As a part of the Mythos crew, you will be required to help various parts of the production. We ask that you be active and try to help out as much as possible.
VOICE ACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a good microphone. No background noise or muffling please.
If you are cast, try to get your lines done on time.
BUILDER REQUIREMENTS:
You must have Java edition Minecraft and be able to run mods
WHEN AUDITIONING
Please introduce yourself before reading the lines! We wanna get to know you!
Do multiple takes (2 - 3 is fine) using a different way of saying it each time. Whether it be a different voice or different form of emotion.
Make sure you speak clearly. We want to be able to understand what you are saying.
Feel free to adlib a bit. Read the full lines first but if you want to add something to them then go for it.
Put emotion into your lines. You're playing a character with feelings and personality, not reading a book.

Bio: Lucia is a flirtatious potion-maker who charms her way into the hearts of many, but often doesn't commit to any one of her clients. She's suave, enchanting, and understands how to persuade anyone either with words or her other assets. However, Lucia is a bit more complex than most believe her to be. She has a dark history that she holds close to her chest and a strong belief that she must cut away her sins and flaws.
Gender: Female
Vocal range: Her voice should be medium in tone and quite smooth when she speaks.
Accent: None
[Friendly] Hey there, doll~. So nice to meet you. You can call me Lucia, okay? If you see anything you want, just let me know.
[Chuckles] Come on, doll. You'd take the quest just for me, right~? Who knows. It could even be a bit fun~
[Conflicted/angered] Why...? Who are you?! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US!? I swear... you won't get away with hurting him, do you hear me!?
Bio: Arian is a brash and stubborn young man on a mission to reclaim the legacy of his ancestors by fusing two ancient swords together into a powerful relic of light. He is spiteful toward most and prefers to just complete his business with someone as a blacksmith before sending them on their merry way.
Gender: Male
Vocal range: His voice should be low and gruff, speaking with a hateful tone.
Accent: None
[Irritated] The name’s Arian. That’s all you need to know. We’re not friends, remember? I’m not like the other guys here who are willing to tell you their whole damn life story. Listen, are you buying or not?
[scoffs] I'll have you know that I'm here to find the REAL burial site of Lord Calex. So either you stay out of my way or something is going to break.
[growls] God...damnit...! I'm supposed to be some sort of fucking "last light" so WHY DON'T YOU STUPID SWORDS ANSWER TO ME?!
Personality: A darker individual who prefers to be alone, Rook is an enigma to even his allies. He doesn’t often speak to others, staying at the top of the magnetic spire that hovers above the colony of fallen angels. He is often seen as a dark cloud in the group, and doesn’t enjoy taking commands from others. He works with magic and powers that are seen as evil and tainted, and therefore even fallen angels tend to avoid him and leave him be.

Other info: While falling into the stereotypical “dark, brooding alpha male” seems like the right way to go about this, Rook is far more awkward and introverted than he may appear on the exterior. Sure, he’s a badass, but he’s also not a people-person. Many of his decisions are made not only for the sake of the group he’s found himself with but also for his own safety. Life of a fallen is not easy, and he will do what it takes to keep himself alive in a realm that wants him gone.
[deadpan] I hate that you have a way of bothering me now.
[annoyed] Why can't you just leave me alone already?
[pissed off] Idiots... what the hell were you thinking?!
Personality: Long ago, Adam was an avid scientist and researcher who worked with a number of other angels to unlock the secrets of the Aether and one of its more potent and elusive magics. However, his experimentation was less-than proper, and after the sacrifice of many at the hands of himself and his partner, he vanished from the public eye. However, he never died.

Other info: Adam understands how to play the game and make people trust him. He appears to be very friendly and helpful, but his malicious nature never faded from him. Underneath the surface, he is a truly twisted individual who would sacrifice even more lives for his own personal gain.
[friendly] My my... you should be more careful out here. There's all sorts of dangers in these woods.
[crazed] Come now, you don't remember your old PARTNER~?
[manipulative] I'm sure I don't have to tell you what happens if you fail... right?
Personality: Xander, short for Alexander, is an angel with an open-minded view of all individuals in Aetheria. He’s taken particular interest in attempting to help the fallen angels of Aetheria, acting to protect them from being sent to the Groundlands of Rem for crimes they do not remember committing after the Falling strips them of their memories of their time as an angel. He is seen as the head of the colony of fallen angels, although he does not consider himself as their leader.

Other info: Xander is incredibly charismatic, and unlike some of the fallen he associates with, he finds that needless violence is unnecessary. He wants to work things out with the rest of Aetheria peacefully, and find a solution to the “fallen angels versus angels” debate without bloodshed.
[slightly humorous, but not sarcastic] They're not our prisoners, Rook- they're our guests.
[gentle] I don't want anyone to forget about these guys. They deserve more than that.
[lightly skeptical] How do I know if I can really trust you, eh?
Personality: “Queen” is a celestial creature, crafted from stardust and the magical power of a mysterious omnipotent patron. She believes herself to be just as she works to protect her kingdom that has, in reality, long fallen to ruin.

Accent: Any
Other info: This creature is spectral and spiritual in appearance, and therefore its voice is wispy and light, although still carrying authority and power as a queen would. The voice of this creature should contain a perfect balance of power and breath.
[preparing to attack] You... You're not welcome here-!
[mystical] I've seen you before... the Darkness tells me of your deeds. You've been deemed... GUILTY.
[defiant] I am not me. I know that... but YOU... I also know that you are not JUST.
Personality: The “Mysterious Benefactor” of the Vessels is another enigma in the Aether. Little is known about them except that they have taken an interest in the group of Aetherian Heroes that traverses the realm to find the Goddess and reverse the celestial damages running rampant. They have been unable to make physical contact with this informant, only able to send books between the parties for now.

Other info: The voice of the benefactor is a bit more raspy and bubbly at the same time. This individual is one that tows the line between being serious and being sarcastic and snarky. They’re able to change the tone of their voice quickly while still feeling like a serious and knowledgeable party.
[playful greeting] Yo. So we finally meet face to face, huh?
[teasing] Is that a fluxbolt-loaded gauntlet in your pocket or are you just happy to see me~?
[serious tone] Do you have any idea how much trouble you've caused for me?! You're lucky you're immortal or I'd kick your ass myself!
