Female, 17.
Our lead — she’s soft and quiet, sounds a bit like Marcille (Dungeon Meishi). She’s shy when she’s outside of her own house and is easily flustered. She also ends up functioning as a narrator at times when she’s writing in her journal. Usually goes by “Rosie” throughout the story.

(narrating/writing in her journal) March 27th, 2015. Um, hi! I bought this diary today, so if someone out this gets this as a hand-me-down or something, today was my first day writing in this. It’s weird to say- er, write, but I should probably write down a bit about myself. I’m Roselynn Dower. Spelled the way you think, but it’s got a weird pronunciation, like “ROSE-a-lynn”, really weird, I know. I’m seventeen years old, five-foot four, and I’m in the twelfth grade. I skipped eleventh mid way through month two, I think. I’ve got long, blonde hair, fair skin, and my mom says I’ve got big, blue eyes. Err… eye.
(Sincerely) I’m sorry, sir, they sound like lovely people, I’m sure, but could I have my form back?
(Frantically) W-Well, you don’t have to hire me then! I can wait, I don’t want to cause you any more trouble…!
Male, 16.
Upbeat and energetic voice- the kind of voice you could imagine hearing someone say “Wowzers!”. He's a more static character, with his constant light-heartedness and bubbly personality, always being around to lighten the mood or help someone smile. He’s Rosie’s love interest.

- male young adult
(nicely) Pretty mean guy you bumped into, huh! Well, I kinda overheard you were talking about applying to join WWS. I’ve got an application form from the founder too, so you can have mine! Don’t worry, I haven’t written anything on it yet!
(introducing himself) I’m Kristopher- but you can call me Kris! What’s your name?
(re: “black or blue?”) I like blue, but I don’t wanna double-up on it. So black.
Male, older adult — 60-70s.
Gruff, gravelly voice, but can still pass off as charming or charismatic. Stereotypical greedy, money-hungry, Wario-esque businessman. He's just a straight asshole willing to do anything for the gaze of the good ol' dollar.
- male adult
- male senior
(Interrupting) So you’re applying to entertain at that cheap Wonderful World Studios place? Why not come work for me instead, kiddo?
(shocked) Are you kidding? Kid, we at Rocco’s Restaurant have boatloads more popularity than you will down at that dinky little WWS. We’ve had an open spot in our Rocco’s Family for quite the while now, and I’m sure my other entertainers would appreciate a new face!
(Sourly) Fine. Your mistake, chump.
Male, 21.
Similar voice to Kris’s, but lower and calmer at a constant. Very chill. Kris's laidback older brother. He's pretty supportive, mostly sticking around to take care of Kris's parents and their house while they work, but he seems pretty lazy too.
- male adult
(Impressed) So you are that “Rosie” girl Kris keeps telling me about.
(surprised) You just met this girl and you’re already relationshipping? It’s been a day, K!
(genuinely) Okay, here it goes. Kris, I dunno how to say this softly, but the first girl isn’t usually the last.
Female, 45-55.
Smooth, maternal tone. She sounds a tiny bit like a valley girl. Deborah is Roselynn's mom. She’s very supportive, but she still gives dance mom energy at times.
- female adult
(re: “did you need something?”) Oh, no dear, I just wanted to make sure I’d get to see you off! You’re growing up so quickly, I didn’t want to miss out seeing you run off to your dream job!
(shouting proudly) MY BABY!!! Ohhh, my little girl is growing up so fast! She’s already found her first love!
(curious) So. This boy. Tell me a bit more about him, won’t you?
Female, 20-40s.
She has a motherly voice, but her mom voice is more genuine than Deborah’s. One of Rosie's co-workers, almost like a maternal figure at Wonderful World Studios. Other than perhaps Carlos or Kris, Camilla is the most emotionally intelligent person working at WWS.
- female adult
(welcoming) Hello, welcome to Wonderful World Studios- How can I help you?
(up to interpretation) Oh, please- Don’t worry about us. The majority of us here don’t work for the money- This here is a safe place- We’re all doing things we like to do! We’d just be happy to have you as part of our family, Rosie!
(standing up for the group) So unless there are some kinder words you’d like to say, like “have a good day” or “goodbye”, I hope you could let us eat in peace. We aren’t trying to stir up any trouble.
Male, late 30s-early 50s.
Calm voice at a constant, a voice that says “I’m your superior, but we can talk like friends”. Has a faint hispanic accent. He is the founder of Wonderful World Studios. Complete opposite of Byron, and would rather see his employees flourish as people than see dollars in his pocket. Often appears less of a boss and more of a friend or teacher.

(excited) Camilla, that’s wonderful! I apologize for pulling you from your work, of course.
(Thoughtfully) Hm. Let’s see… Roselynn Victoria Dower, is it…? Solid grades, doing well in school, fair amount of experience for your age, hm? That’s good. (Matter-of-Factly) I say I could very well accept you into our roster!
(up to interpretation) I run on a trust system here. If you look like a solid person and you show me that you’re worth my trust, I’ll reward you for it. Of course, I’ll have to let you if we lose this trust of course, but that hasn’t happened- to you or anyone here.
Female, 20-25.
Highly energetic, think of a fitness coach like you’d see on Peloton and that’s kinda what her voice is like. She speaks very quickly. Epiphany of "Active/Energetic". She's another actor at Wonderful World, essentially the one telling kids to "Be active! Stay healthy!" She's known for her excitement for almost everything.

Heya, Mr. Williams! (Whisper-shouting) Is this your daughter?
(happily) Rosie! There you are! I thought I’d be looking around forever- How’ve you been? Didja get a good sleep?
(encouraging) Oh, come on now- Don’t talk yourself down like that. As long as you think you can do it, you can!
Male, early 30s-40s.
Dull, low voice, tinge of a southern accent. Former military man who performs at WWS as a hobby and occupation. He's like a father figure in Wonderful World Studios. He's stern and serious.
- male adult
(introducing himself) If we’re introducin’ ourselves, I’m Alexander Homfrey. But you can call me Alec. Cam does that enough of the time, so I don’t see why you can’t.
(up to interpretation) Well, off of that subject, Rosie- you excited to start workin’ at WWS?
(encouraging) Lani’s right. Comparin’ yourself to others won’t quite do much to help you succeed. Push yourself up, and I think you’ll do just fine on your own.
Female, 18.
Stereotypical valley-girl cheerleader disney channel antagonist type. High school cheerleader who also happens to bully Rosie. Stereotypical mean-girl, think Regina George from Mean Girls, and only works at Rocco's as a means to get money until her TikTok career finally sets off.

(Without effort) I’m, like, Bethany Bunny. Woo.
(persistent, authoritative) Show us what’s under your bang. I know you got into this huge car crash, right? Teacher said so, so you should totally let us see the injury.
(Disbelief) Excuse me? Did you just say no?
Male, around his 30s.
Sneaky and sly voice since he’s always in character, Jersey accent in the context of “I’m walkin’ ‘ere!” but a bit higher pitched. Sam is another performer at Wonderful World Studios. The main "antagonist" being a thief usually stopped by someone else. So in-character, he ends up speaking in the accent he usually performs in constantly. Other than that, he's often sarcastic and blunt at a constant.
- male adult
(up to interpretation) Aha, and speakin’ of! Can’t believe they let some rookie stand in for ‘em! Rosie, right? Ya can’t manage a kingdom without a queen, and ain’ no princess gonna be able to run it on her own! Ha! I mean, look at ‘cha, I bet I could man this place better than you could, am I right?
(Mockingly) Listen, rookie. You don’t dare call ME, of ALL people, a sour spot. The only sour spot is you. Cuz, y’know, you’re a pipsqueak, figuratively and literally. I’m the boss around here, see?
(mockingly) Oh, what, gonna cry cuz your dress got dirty?
Female, 18.
High pitched, sort of annoying, reminiscent of a birthday party magician with a WIP British Accent. Sam's younger sister. She hates Bethany with a passion. She's an aspiring magician and wants to perform somewhere like her older brother. She tries to carry an accent like Sam, but she’s not great at it.

(Interrupting, defending) Hey! Pick on someone your own size!
(genuinely) Hey, you okay?
(introducing herself) Well, I’m Arianna Trenton, Magician in training and sibling of the infamous Sam Trenton! But you can call me Ari!
Male, 18-21.
The son of Byron Roberts, owner of Rocco's Restaurant. He only has the job as the restaurant's mascot, Rocco Raccoon, because his dad forced him to have it. He only has this one line for the first 5 episodes.

(excitedly) I’m Rocco Raccoon, star of the show, yeah!
Androgynous, 18-35.
Scruff is the only performer at Rocco's who REALLY likes their job. Considering Rocco's Restaurant performers wear full-body costumes, no one actually knows who they are beneath the mask.
- androgynous
(excitedly) I’m Scruff! I play drums! Ba-cham!
For these first five episodes, we have 3 minor roles: Game Announcer (40-50s), Restaurant Hostess (20s-55), and Children (young).
Feel free to audition for all, or select. There is one audition line for each.
(announcer) And up at the plate we have Number Eighteen at the bat! Pitch one- He doesn’t budge! Strike one! Here we go, pitch two! There we go again, another strike! Last one- is all this stillness leading up to something big? You’ve gotta wonder!
(hostess) Party of four? I’ll show you to your seats, then.
(children, of any age) (cheering noises) You gotta get back at him!
