My Hero Academia Manga Dub (Chapter 1 Minor Characters)
Project Overview
WHAT IS THIS?
This is going to be a fanmade dub of the popular Manga series, My Hero Academia.
For those of you unfamiliar with the premise: My Hero Academia is set in a world where superpowers, called "Quirks", have become commonplace. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy who was born without a Quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero himself. He is scouted by All Might, Japan's greatest hero, who bestows his Quirk to Midoriya after recognizing his potential, and helps to enroll him in a prestigious high school for superheroes in training.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Please make sure your microphone is capable of recording your voice without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping.
2. You must have a Discord account, as the project will be going into production over there.
3. Your voice files must be sent in a .wav format, though if it ends up too big, .mp3 files will do as an alternative.
4. You need to have a very clear idea of both the series and the character you're auditioning for, especially their dub voice.
5. Open Ethnicity, POC actors are heavily encouraged to audition
6. Remember to have fun!

Young Deku is a very timid and polite boy. He is initially portrayed as insecure, tearful, and vulnerable.

Young Bakugo is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive person. He doesn't seem to care very much about what others think of him. He is also very confident and brave.

The Giant Villain is just a random villain that appears in the first chapter. Doesn't really have a set personality or voice so just make him angry and a somewhat deep voice as it's a giant guy.

Kamui Woods is a very serious and focused person when it comes to being a hero in his hero duties; however, he easily feels down when someone takes his glory or credit. At the same time, he also appears to be rather emotional.

Lacquered Chain Prison!!!
Mt. Lady seems to enjoy the attention that being a hero gives her and she doesn't feel any shame from having to take that fame from another hero while basking in the glory. She is also shown to be quite vain, shameless, and lazy, but not careless. Later on, she appears to take a more serious stand on her job as a hero.

The Sludge Villain shows himself to be a selfish, cruel and sadistic criminal. He was bold enough to steal in broad daylight and flee the scene with various bystanders watching. He also has no remorse.

Backdraft is just a pro-hero that appears in the first chapter. Doesn't really have a set personality or voice so just make him sound confident, serious, and like what you think a hero would sound like.

Death Arms is a serious person who dislikes rash actions. Despite his tough demeanor and being well-respected for his hero work, he takes criticism hard and feels that one negative comment outweighs ten positive comments.

Kyudai is an eccentric and deranged scientist, who also secretly works as a doctor. Despite the fact that Kyudai is usually calm, collected and sure of himself and his goals, he is actually quite cowardly when faced with a threat, panicking and freaking out too easily. As a doctor, he is straight to the point and serious.
