Project Overview
About:
Hello! This will be a quick audition I will be holding and I'm thrilled to announce auditions for these two youngsters Doe and Charlie, in my upcoming story time Gacha video. While this is a non-paid endeavor, it promises to be a fun-filled experience for all involved. Please note that these characters are around 10-12, so give off your best comedic kiddy impression! This will be uploaded onto Youtube for children's entertainment, so it is rated PG. This project is like any other animated story times you see on youtube, so basically the narrator (me) here is telling about her experiences with her first elementary crush.
This project will be edited using a character creator/animation app, so it is not drawn frame by frame. The animation will be done keyframes and green screens for the characters.
How to Audition:
- 1. Choose either the Doe or Charlie character to audition for, or feel free to audition for both!
- 2. Record a voice sample that showcases the personality traits described for the chosen character(s) in .mp3, or .wav, format.
- 3. Submit your audition before July 21st. Include your name, contact information, and the character(s) you're auditioning for.
Important Dates:
- DOE and CHARLIE Audition Deadline: July 21st
- PIPER and OLDER CHARLIE Audition Deadline: July 23rd
- Final Selection: July 30th
Notes:
- This project is for personal enjoyment and will not offer monetary compensation.
- We encourage actors of all experience levels to audition, as passion and talent are the key factors.
- There will be no backup voice actors for this has 2 characters and they have a few lines.
- This project is a short-term commitment; the script will be sent to you immediately after casting, and you will have 1-2 weeks to complete your lines.
- Selected voice actors will receive a PM of my discord account for easier communication.
- Selected voice actors will receive due credit for their contributions to the final project.

Hey there everyone! It's now July 23rd, the deadline for all auditions. I'm typing this as I'm picking the VAs. But hey, hey lookie here! In advance, this is just an important message for everyone who didn’t get cast:
If you didn’t get cast please do not let that bring you down!! You will have thousands of more opportunities and you will only get better! Due to my channel revolving around storytelling, I'm certainly 100% sure that I'll host more upcoming auditions for future videos.
Don’t let something as little as this bring down your voice-acting spirits! Just keep practicing and remember don't let one project define your talent! You'll get into some projects and you'll lose some! Every little opportunity like this is worth it, you have so much talent and confidence sharing your voice.
Letting people hear it is so wonderful that there are more people like us. Soon enough you will have your own project or just be in tons and tons of projects and make way more voice actors and probably grow together along the way. Maybe even in the future, you are able to voice act for a dub or even an anime! Just keep on working on it and you’ll get there! <3
