Project Overview

"Murder on the Dawkins Estate" is an animated murder mystery based on a successful stage play.
This series plunges into the dark secrets of the wealthy Dawkins family.
When the notoriously cold, cruel, and manipulative patriarch, Walter Dawkins, is found dead, a complex investigation begins.

Detective Catherine, sharp and observant, is on the case, but everyone in the Dawkins household has a motive.
There's Matthew, Walter's protective son, raising his daughter Lexi alone, and harboring a strained relationship with his late father. Then there's Katie, Walter's daughter, who grew up fearing and hating him and is now fiercely protective of her son, Justin, and niece, Lexi. Harriet, Walter's long-suffering wife, is a proud woman who finally decided to divorce him after years of enduring his cruelty. Even the loyal housekeeper, Matilda, who has served the family for years, finds herself under scrutiny.

The series explores themes of family secrets, greed, betrayal, and the lingering effects of a tyrannical presence. As the layers of the Dawkins family history are peeled back, the truth behind Walter's demise becomes increasingly convoluted.

This is a passion project, driven by a love for storytelling and animation. While there is no monetary compensation, it offers a fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio, gain valuable experience, and collaborate with a dedicated team of creatives on an engaging and suspenseful animated series.

    We are delighted to see so much enthusiasm for this exciting project.
    As a result of such enthusiasm we have decided to shorten the deadline.
    We don't want to keep you all waiting (the wait is killing us too haha)
