PROJECT STATUS: Seeking volunteers
PROJECT TYPE: Noncommercial fanmade project
FANDOM: Murder Drones
SETTING: Post-Episode 8
FORMAT: Audio drama with illustrated scenes and potential animatic elements but that is way later!
Hello! I'm the creator of Murder Drones: Fractured Skies, an unpaid, noncommercial fanmade project set after Episode 8 of the animated series Murder Drones.
The story follows Kai, a mysterious young Workembly (Worker/Dissasembly) Drone hybrid who falls through a tear in reality and arrives on Copper 9.
Uzi and N discover the frightened child and gradually take them in as their own. But Kai's arrival is not an accident. Something from another universe has followed them, and it wants to take them back.
This project explores found family, identity, trauma, mystery, and the consequences of Cyn's experiments.
(Looking to have mentions of SH so beware!!!)
I'm looking for creative people who want to collaborate on an original fanmade story and bring their own ideas and characters into the world.
🤖 ORIGINAL CHARACTERS WELCOME!
You can submit your own original Worker Drones, Disassembly Drones, hybrids, or other characters.
OCs may be part of the Copper 9 community, come from Kai's original universe, or have their own supporting roles.
Please include a short character profile and explain how your OC could fit into the story.
All OC submissions are subject to review for continuity and story compatibility. You retain ownership of your original character.
The project is noncommercial and is not affiliated with the official Murder Drones creators.
The story is a fanmade alternate-universe interpretation of the series.
A pilot will be developed before the project expands into a larger production.
This is also a LONG TERM PROJECT

I am looking for Co-Directors cause I need to make some big decisions but I want someone who shares my passion!
I have 4 (Maybe 5?) New characters!!!
female disassemble drone + sentinel = against Kai
Before we get to the other's let me explain something:
Kai (before turned into a murder drone) came from Ferrum-4
Planet Overview: Ferrum-4
• The Environment: A dense, smog-choked industrial world covered in endless automated refineries, strip mines, and towering corporate citadels. The sky is a permanent toxic shade of neon green and grey due to heavy chemical manufacturing.
• The Status: Fully operational and highly profitable. It serves as JCJenson’s primary metallurgical and fuel-processing hub.
Kai had 2 worker drone older brothers. Malachi and Nikolai. When Cyn came to their world, she destroyed all humans. Then she said she would allow them to live if she gave them someone. That someone was Kai. From then, that is how Cyn received Kai, removed her memories and turned her into a murder drone
Male worker drones = Malachi and Nikolai
Malachi and Nikolai found their sister in Kai's universe with Kai's Uzi, N, V, Lizzy, and Thad in copper 9 with Tessa (+ Human Male?) and the rest is dumb stupid history
Human Male: Still a mystery...
Character Designs are now in progress!!!
I have 3 (Maybe?) New characters!!!
One is a Murder Drone
One is a male human
and the last one is a male worker drone
They all come from Kai's universe...
HOWEVERRR I don't know how they will integrate with the story.... plus how they look like...
Please if your interested in being a writer and/or a drawer, please let me know and contact me on Discord: phera9901
Right now all roles are open! The most important ones are: Writers & Character drawers… but if you have Original Characters you want to add, please add them now so that we know how they can integrate into the story early on!
You are basically my left-hand person!!! We need to grow a strong partnership since we need to rely on each other!!!!

Overall role in Kai's world
Uzi's personality remains close to the original series: sarcastic, stubborn, intelligent, and deeply suspicious of authority.
However, growing up in the Haven means she has a different relationship with the world.
She has spent her life surrounded by security systems and people who insist that staying inside is the only way to survive.
Uzi resents the restrictions imposed on her and wants to understand what lies beyond the fortress.
Her connection to the Absolute Solver makes her particularly important to the conflict.
Like her original-series counterpart, she struggles with the fear that her powers could make her dangerous to the people she cares about.
"Bite me!"
"I’m working on a project. It’s a... sick-as-hell railgun!"
"I’m sorry for being vulnerable for five seconds, okay!?"
Overall role in the world
N remains the cheerful, compassionate, and sometimes awkward drone from the original series.
His history at Elliott Manor remains important, particularly his bond with Tessa and his complicated relationship with Cyn.
In this AU, N eventually breaks away from Cyn and joins the resistance.
His kindness makes him particularly good at connecting with people who are frightened or struggling to trust others.
He believes that people deserve the opportunity to choose who they want to be, regardless of their past.
"I'm Serial Designation N, nice to meet you! I'm kind of the leader of the squad in this city... That's not true, everyone tells me I'm useless and terrible. Wait, I'm not supposed to tell you that part! Biscuits!"
"Is the super secret elevator… labeled?" (I love this line so much its unhealthy 🥹 N must be protected under any and all cost)
"I love doing anything!"
Overall role in the world
Tessa's history remains rooted in Elliott Manor.
She salvages discarded Worker Drones, repairs them, and brings them into her home as companions.
Her relationship with N, V, and J is especially important, and her early friendship with Cyn becomes increasingly strained as Cyn's behavior grows more dangerous.
In this AU, Tessa's story diverges after the manor catastrophe.
Rather than becoming a direct instrument of Cyn's plans, she survives long enough to uncover the truth about the Disassembly Drone program and the destruction of Earth.
She eventually becomes involved in the effort to stop Cyn from destroying the Haven.
"Everyone stand back! This is a citizen's murder!"
"Cyn! If that little butler dies for your sake, I swear!"
"Hey fella, me human order you to be a nice dingo, please."
Overall role in the world
Nori's past remains closely connected to the original lore.
She was one of the Worker Drones subjected to experiments at Cabin Fever Labs, where JCJenson investigated the Absolute Solver and its effects on drone hosts. She developed a connection to the Solver and became involved in the events surrounding the facility's collapse.
In this AU, however, Nori survives long enough to become an important figure in the underground resistance.
She understands that the Solver is not simply a weapon or a malfunctioning program. It is a threat capable of manipulating drones, distorting reality, and destroying entire colonies.
Nori becomes one of the people most determined to prevent Cyn from gaining access to the Haven.
"You're frickin' grounded!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW ME AND I HATE YOU!"
"The planet kind of half-imploded anyway. Humans all woke up on the surface, brains scrambled enough to have a kid, and the rest is dumb stupid history."
Overall role in the world
Yeva's history remains tied to Nori's.
The two met at Cabin Fever Labs, where they were subjected to experiments involving the Absolute Solver. Their shared experiences created a strong bond, and both became deeply suspicious of JCJenson's research.
In the original series, Yeva dies before the main events, leaving Doll behind. In this AU, she survives the initial catastrophe and becomes involved in the resistance.
Her survival changes Doll's upbringing and the emotional landscape of the Haven.
YOU NEED TO KNOW RUSSIAN BUT I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WILL DO RUSSIAN, ENGLISH... OR BOTH!!!!
"Держись назад. То, что внутри нас... это не сбой и не чудо. Это проклятие." ("Stay back. The thing inside us... it isn't a glitch, and it isn't a miracle. It's a curse.")
"Думаешь, сможешь перехитрить меня? Пожалуйста. Я могу очистить всё поле еще до того, как твои процессоры заметят падение." ("You think you can outsmart me? Please. I can clear a full board before your processors even register the drop.")
"Мы прошли через один и тот же ужас, Нори. Мне тоже страшно... страшно от того, что этот код сделает с нашими детьми." ("We've been through the same horrors, Nori. I'm scared too... scared of what this code will do to our children.")
Overall role in the world
Doll's story in this universe is deeply connected to her parents, Yeva and her father, who were subjected to experiments at Cabin Fever Labs.
Unlike the original series, where Doll loses both parents and becomes consumed by revenge, this AU gives her a chance to grow up with Yeva still alive. However, that doesn't mean her life is easy.
Doll still inherits the Absolute Solver, and she still struggles with the fear that Cyn will eventually take control of her.
Her relationship with the Haven is complicated. She understands why the Workers need protection, but she doesn't trust their leadership to make decisions about Solver hosts.
She believes that the fortress's security measures could easily become another form of imprisonment for drones like her.
YOU NEED TO KNOW RUSSIAN BUT I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WILL DO RUSSIAN, ENGLISH... OR BOTH!!!!
"Как говорят по-русски... Ой, я должна была предвидеть, что кто-то может сбежать через вентиляционную шахту, используя выброшенные зеркала в качестве лестницы." ("As they say in Russian... Whoops, I should've predicted that someone could escape out of a ventilation shaft using discarded mirrors as stairs.")
"Узи, ты действительно встанешь на сторону Дронов-Убийц? Я не единственная, кто потерял из-за них семью." ("Uzi, you would really side with the Murder Drones? I'm not the only one who's lost family to them.")
"Мило, но мне не нужна помощь." ("Cute, but I don't need help.")
Overall role in the world
V's past remains connected to Elliott Manor and her transformation into a Disassembly Drone.
She remembers enough of her history to understand that Cyn is not simply a superior giving orders. Cyn is the source of the system that transformed her and her former companions into weapons.
In this AU, V eventually breaks away from Cyn's control and becomes an uneasy ally of the Haven.
She is still sarcastic, aggressive, and emotionally guarded.
Her loyalty is difficult to earn, and she often struggles to express concern without turning it into hostility.
"Lowest body count eats a missile!"
"And yet, I still feel nothing."
"Nah. Uzi, I trust you."
Overall role in the world
Khan's obsession with doors becomes much more consequential in this universe.
After witnessing the early Disassembly Drone attacks, Khan dedicates himself to developing increasingly sophisticated defensive systems. His work eventually became part of the foundation of the Haven.
Unlike his original-series counterpart, who retreats behind bunker doors and struggles to confront the danger outside, AU Khan becomes a major contributor to the survival of the Worker Drone population.
However, his dedication to security comes at a cost.
He becomes increasingly convinced that the safest way to protect the colony is to keep everyone inside.
"...and to put your mother out of her misery, when the Murder Drones got to her with their nanite acid. I want you to have it."
"Say 'damage' again and I will install a door on your face!"
"Guys! My daughter is into doors!"
Overall role in the world
J is responsible for:
Supervising Kai's training and development.
Monitoring their behavior and reporting any signs of disobedience.
Ensuring that the infiltration plan remains on schedule.
Enforcing Cyn's rules and expectations.
Acting as the authority figure responsible for keeping Kai under control.
J views Kai as a mission asset rather than a child.
She does not necessarily enjoy being responsible for a young hybrid, but she takes her assignment seriously and refuses to tolerate what she considers incompetence
Kai and J's relationshipTheir relationship is a strict handler-and-subject dynamic.
J expects Kai to follow instructions, maintain discipline, and perform their assigned duties. She sees their empathy as a liability and their refusal to cooperate as a direct threat to the mission.
Unlike Cyn, J does not pretend that her control is maternal affection.
She frames everything in terms of rules, performance, and consequences.
However, J's relationship with Kai can become complicated because she is not entirely incapable of recognizing their vulnerability.
She may become frustrated when Kai is frightened, confused, or unable to understand an instruction, not because she wants to comfort them, but because she sees those moments as obstacles to her work.
"N, you're worthless and terrible, and if the company allowed it, I would straight up kill you myself!"
"Gravity... OKAY. I'm FINE, and CALM... and GO AWAY!"
"Damn the well-made, quality-assured durability of JCJenson products!"
Overall role in the world
Cyn's history begins much like it does in the original series. She was discarded, rebooted, and eventually became connected to the Absolute Solver. After the Elliott Manor massacre, she continued expanding her influence across the galaxy.
However, the existence of the Haven changes her plans.
The fortress becomes a problem Cyn cannot solve through conventional attacks. Her Disassembly Drones repeatedly fail to breach its defenses, and the longer the conflict continues, the more frustrated she becomes.
Eventually, Cyn develops the idea of creating a drone that could infiltrate the fortress without immediately raising suspicion.
That project became the hybrid program.
Cyn retains her recognizable combination of childish behavior, unsettling cheerfulness, emotional volatility, and cruelty. She can be playful and affectionate one moment, then frighteningly cold the next.
She views other drones as possessions, but her attachment to certain individuals is complicated. Her relationship with N is particularly important because he was one of the few drones who treated her kindly before the massacre.
In this universe, she develops a similarly twisted attachment to Kai.
Cyn and Kai's relationship: A deeply dysfunctional mother-daughter and sibling dynamic
Cyn sees Kai as both her child and her little sister.
She created Kai, designed their body, and considers herself responsible for every aspect of their existence. Yet she also treats Kai like a younger sibling who belongs exclusively to her.
This creates a disturbing contradiction.
Cyn can call Kai her little one, fuss over their appearance, and become possessive when someone else tries to take care of them. She may even behave as though she is the only person who truly understands them.
But her affection is conditional.
She expects obedience, views independence as betrayal, and cannot accept that Kai might develop feelings or loyalties that contradict her plans.
When Kai refuses to carry out their assigned mission, Cyn interprets it as a personal rejection.
Rather than acknowledging Kai's independence, she insists that their disobedience is ruining their relationship.
Her attachment becomes a form of control: she wants Kai to need her, fear losing her, and believe that nobody else could ever love them.
The mother-daughter aspect: Cyn insists that she created Kai and therefore knows what is best for them. She acts as though she has parental authority over their identity and future.
The sibling aspect: Cyn becomes jealous when Kai forms attachments to other people. She wants to be their favorite person, their protector, and the one they turn to first.
The result is a relationship that can look strangely affectionate from the outside but is fundamentally abusive and controlling.
"You seem upset, big brother N. Perhaps you'd like to attend the gala with me? Light sip. Climbing, crisscross applesauce."
"Seems J forgot to let me out of my basement time-out again. Annoyed expression."
"God Fuu--king Da-n it."
"Classic toxic masculinity, Chad! That's never gonna end up problematic."
"Hey, those bandages look pretty badass!"
"Hey, those bandages look pretty badass!"
"Sup, freak. Prepare to be popular."
"So, forgive and forget, or I'll get my dad to dock your freakin' grades! And you can't sit with us, Rebecca!"
"On second thought, you're way hotter than Doll. RUN, idiot!"
You can submit your own original Worker Drones, Disassembly Drones, hybrids (like Kai), or other characters... even humans!
OCs may be part of the Copper 9 community, come from Kai's original universe, or have their own supporting roles.
Please include a short character profile and explain how your OC could fit into the story.
All OC submissions are subject to review for continuity and story compatibility. You retain ownership of your original character
(Provide for me lines of how you OC sound like and acts <333)
Kai, a nonbinary hybrid who appears to be around toddler age, woke up in a canon universe (having come from an alternate universe). They have almost no memories of their past. Their mind is filled with fragmented images, unfamiliar voices, and terrifying nightmares that make little sense to them.
*Say something you think would fit*
Malachi is the more protective of Kai's two brothers.
Before Cyn arrived, he was already used to looking after Kai because their parents were constantly working under Ferrum-4's brutal system.
{Owner of Malachi Art: @pear-sayce on YT}
“I don't care what she is now. She's still my little sister.”
“You took her once. You're not taking her again.”
“Kai... you don't have to remember us. Just... let us stay.”
Nikolai can be different from Malachi.
Instead of being primarily protective, he's the investigator.
He's the one who refuses to accept that Kai is simply gone.
While Malachi is focused on protecting whoever remains, Nikolai starts looking for answers.
“Something was done to her. I know it. I just need to find out what.”
“That isn't some random hybrid. That's Kaylani.”
“We spent years looking for you. I refuse to believe we found you just to lose you again.”
This character is the opposite of Kai.
Kai was created to infiltrate the Workers but developed empathy.
The female Disassembly Drone should be someone who fully accepted Cyn's programming.
She knows Kai personally.
And she doesn't consider Kai a victim.
She considers Kai has a defective Disassembly Drone that betrayed Cyn.
That makes her an excellent antagonist.
She is hyperactive, playful, affectionate, and incredibly violent. She treats killing like it's a fun social activity.
Where N's friendliness comes from genuine kindness, hers comes from a complete lack of empathy.
She'll happily smile, wave, make jokes, and act excited while talking about something horrifying. She's constantly energetic and enthusiastic, making her much more unpredictable than someone who's simply cold or angry.
"hehehe... hehehEHHEeehHeEHHEHEH" (Spirals into insane laughter)
"Aww are you running away? Already.... tsk we were having SOOOO much fun!"
"Oooh! Hide and Kill! I love this game hehe! I'm gonna get youu~ hmmm where would you be~ tsk tsk tsk (sneaks up and scares the other person) HERE YOU ARE~ Hehehe~ This was such a fun game~ (Mock pouting voice) Such a shame to see it end"
F is calm and surprisingly kind for something built like a walking tank. He doesn’t go looking for fights, he mostly likes to avoid them, but if someone threatens him or people he cares about he switches up instantly.
He also doesn't like when others pick on the weak.
He’s not very good socially, he also has trouble with sarcasm and can forget things really quickly, sometimes, straight up seconds after hearing them, because of that, conversations with him can feel a bit weird, but he never means any harm in his words, even though he can come off as passive aggressive.
Despite that, F doesn't like to fight and isn't dangerous by nature. He’s more of a bigger brother that wants to help more than anything else. He also has a great interest in weapons, and loves learning how they work, his favourite kind of weapons are big LMG’s.
F is sent with S to retrieve Kai.
S bullies F a lot. Even harming him for no reason

Backstory
The Shield System
The Shield System, commonly referred to as TSS (“Tess”), was a prototype system developed by GIGN scientists on Earth. Its purpose was to transform Worker Drones into heavily armored “Riot Officers” capable of maintaining order during riots, strikes, and other large-scale disturbances.
Rather than creating an entirely new machine, the GIGN modified existing Worker Drones with extensive physical enhancements and installed the Shield System as an artificial intelligence capable of controlling the modified body.
TSS was designed with one absolute directive: Protect the Innocent — at any cost.
The system has no emotions and approaches every situation through cold, precise calculations. It prioritizes defensive positioning, threat assessment, and the preservation of life above all else.
Unfortunately, the modifications came with a major drawback: weight and energy consumption. The armor, reinforced limbs, and shield placed enormous strain on a Worker Drone's original body. To compensate, modified units were equipped with a heavily protected battery carrying more than 200% of a standard Worker Drone's charge. Even with the additional power, the modifications drastically reduced the unit's operational endurance.
Roswell
Roswell was an old, discarded Worker Drone model before the destruction of Earth.
He wasn't particularly remarkable. In fact, he was considered a poor serving drone due to his stubborn and silent behavior. He suffered extensive damage, leaving him with bandages covering one side of his screen and one missing arm.
Roswell was also one of the few Worker Drones who wasn't infected during Earth's downfall.
When the remaining GIGN officers discovered him, they saw an opportunity. With their survivor camp under constant threat from infected drones, they desperately attempted to turn Roswell into the first functioning Shield System unit. The physical modifications were completed, but disaster struck during the transfer of TSS into Roswell's new body. The camp came under attack.
The GIGN soldiers began transferring the Shield System into Roswell, but the process was interrupted. In a desperate attempt to save at least part of their creation, the soldiers tore the robotic body away from the incomplete transfer and placed it inside an escape pod alongside the remaining human survivors, staying behind to hold off the infected drones. The pod escaped Earth. The humans aboard did not survive the journey.
