Inzeritus

Inzeritus

Project Overview

Art for the characters is being added gradually.

In a far future, a war breaks out between humans and an unknown force, simply known as "the Inzeritus" virus. Many of the world's elite forces are used to fight against the threat. The heroes are put into categories:
  • Attack - The main attackers. Guns, bombs, the lot. Designed to do damage
  • Genome - Known by the civilians as "rebuilders". They eradicate the genome from the area
  • Support - Known by civilians as "freaks". They use malformations in their genome to use abilities such as telekinesis or teleportation
  • Tech - These guys have an arsenal of sneaky abilities such as hologram clones and invisibility camouflage. Specifically trained to kill quietly
  • Threat - Known by civilians as "heroes". Known to generals as "throwaways". These people are designed to dive in, do damage, and die.
We follow the story of Mordun, a 'Threat' soldier thrown into the Inzeritus source, which was originally the containment centre of the virus. He was presumed dead, until found by 4 other strange soldiers looking to stop the Inzeritus

This audiobook will be presented in episodes, each spanning 5-10 minutes each. The videos themselves will be a series of pictures relating to the current happenings, with the main action happening in the voices (that's you!). It is designed to be minimized in a window while people do work, revise, whatever.

If you, at any moment, want to ditch out on the project, tell me so. However, once the first episode is up, I'm sorry but you're stuck. I can't change actor that quickly.

Spaxia (Hacker)

Unpaid
Role assigned to: deleted51026

Spaxia, the mysterious hacker and a major antagonist of the series. He is the one who spread (not invented, spread) and weaponised the virus 'Interitus'. His voice is clearly dropped low, EXTREMELY LOW, by technology, to mask his identity, and he speaks extremely quickly. He's cocky, arrogant, childish (for a good reason), and mean. He's also extremely psychopathic thanks for Horda.

  • Oh puppets, pawns, and players, welcome to the headquarters! I must give you credit for surviving the onslaught of infected I sent your way, but oh well, they've been punished. Painfully. Very very painfully.

  • You are beginning to become a thorn in my side Mordun. Tell me, you arrogant prick, do you think the others like you?

  • Hahaha... think you're so smart, huh? Boop!... boop... boop. BOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOPBOOP I SAID BOOP WORK YOU STUPID MACHINE! Forget it.

Mordun (Old)

Role assigned to: Kyle

Mordun's older self serves as the narrator of the story. He has no significance to the actual events, though does have many lines, with it being an audiobook and such. He is a drunken 'washed up old-timer' who served in the Interitus war. He hates how he messed up everything, by assuming things. He realises how stupid he was

If you're concerned about a voice for him, go for Soldier: 76 from Overwatch. He's always a good shout. Link to his voice below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G88t-0AD9A0

  • Years go past, don't they, old friend? Once we were kids playing in the garden. Now look at us. Washed up old-timers with nothing better to do apart from bitching about the past and saying how wrong we were. Irony is a bitch. How is that ironic? Oh. You'll see.

  • Me and my new friends wandered the many halls and corridors for hours, looking for a sign of life. Of course nothing came

  • It was a lonely night. No one to hear. No jokes. No laughs. No friends. Nothing. Only darkness, and fear. Fear that the creature could walk around at any moment.

Mordun (Young)

Role assigned to: ReeveCedric

He serves as the main character of the story. He's arrogant, self obsessed, and extremely annoying to his 'friends', yet people continue to like him. Mordun is a Threat member, and was thrown into combat, and presumed dead. His voice range is that of a 21 year old's, and clearly Northern American. He doesn't have any superpowers, and is particularly skilled with his SMG, which he calls 'Ciggy'.

  • I am training to be a Fighter sir! To serve the country proud sir! To defend the Earth against the virus sir! Thank you sir!

  • Got anything Rynx? Anything at all? Ah fuck it. What do you think it does? HYAH! He chucks the grenade to a group of infected people. ... Oh. That's what it does.

  • Charloooooooootte. Tell me a bedtime stowy (pronounced 'story' but with a 'w'). Pwetty pwetty pwease? Hahaha. Only messing with ya. Have some fun!

G

Role assigned to: TheOreoSans

G is a character completely a mystery to the team. He is a Genomer, and does not speak. He wears a hazmat suit and packs an "eradicator" on his back. An eradicator is essentially a flame thrower, except it kills the virus, and doesn't kill the person. However, get it on an uninfected person, and that is going to sting.

It is later revealed in the story why G doesn't speak, when he finally takes off his mask.

  • *Muffled laughter*

  • *Heavy breathing*

  • *Muffled groan*

Rynx

Role assigned to: ukulily

Rynx serves as a support, and specially mains in electrokinesis, an art form which involves the creation and bending of electricity. She can also turn into electric currents and zip through the wind. Her character age is 18, and needs to appear so. She's also rather spoilt. She is jumpy, childish, silly, crazy, and VERY smart. However... she has a bit of a tantrum

I know the first line makes it appear so but she is NOT insane. She has morals and regulations, just like the rest of the group.

She has quite a high pitched, whiny voice.

  • Holy shit holy shit holy shit... that's new... oooh this is gonna be FUN!

  • Nonononono! Are you ok are you OK? GrrrrrrAH! DIE YOU INFECTED FUCKERS DIE!

  • Sorry friend, haven't got anything. Try Clonat maybe?

The Facility

cast offsite

The Facility is the AI, coded by the scientists who ran the place, and slightly reprogrammed by Spaxia when he took over in order to hide information. He also did it to run the warehouse of death the heroes get themselves caught up in. The Facility has no personality, opinion or side, and is simply made to serve... until the very end

The female and child voices of The Facility are very calm, and trustworthy.

The female voice speaks in a very robotic, GLaDOS manor. She has a monotone and robotic voice.

The child voice speaks as, well, a child. She has no monotonous voice and sounds authentic and realistic.

The male voice is known by the gang as "Exror" and has a very deep, grumbling, croaky voice. I have a link to a character from a game called Spore, and it's the Grox. They have a very similar voice to what the male should sound like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMm6NIUNRyU

  • (Female voice) Hello. Welcome to the facility. How may I be of assistance?

  • (Child voice) This tone may help resonate with your memories, and make me seem like a more trustable ally, yes?

  • (Male voice) SPEECH CLIP NOT FOUND. ERROR: DELETED OR RENAMED FILE.

Defense System

Role assigned to: aegeuskatz

Defense System serves as the part of the Facility that Spaxia hacked. Whenever Spaxia has control of the mainframe, Defense System is useable and does not help the good guys, instead it tries to destroy them. Defense system DOES have a personality, and at the very end, Spaxia's FAKEBOT destroys him.

  • They call me the Defense System. You can call me your worst nightmare

  • Oh fine, be like that. Send in the blasters!

  • Wait what have you done to my voice? NONONONONONONO (the extended part of the next word needs to be said with your vocal pitch increasing) UNACCEPTABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL (Unacceptable, just, extended A sound)

Whimsey
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Whammy

Whimsey serves as a good friend to the main character. He has a human mind input into a robot to continue living (or so he says). While very rich and spoilt, Whimsey is a coward and EXTREMELY dumb. He promises he can bring down the facility and let the heroes escape if they bring him to the main port, however, this is all a ruse. Whimsey is secretly the main antagonist, Horda, who is the one attempting to spread the virus using Spaxia. The main port was to simply keep the others out of his way. With the facility held to him, he can control the world

His voice is pretty average, but also extremely fast

  • Ay ay don't be scared, I'm nothing to be scared of!

  • Ah, you see, well, that's where the problem lies, ain't it?

  • Oh no oh dear oh gosh OH-- (as if you're going to yell OH FUCK but actually don't) *long pause* Wait, what do you mean my swear system is deleted?

Viceta

Role assigned to: hedonisticactor

Viceta is Spaxia's ally and brute force. He is strong and agile, and has 'mechanikinesis' (a man-made telekinesis to control technology. It is created with a custom made neuron added into the brain). He controls metallic appendages with his 7 extra arms which respectively hold 2 pistols, 4 shoutguns, and an assault rifle. He also has a sniper and a jet pack. He's a smaller role, but God he is fun

He is also FINNISH.

  • Ja tässä menemme tas...

  • I hope you like the taste of steel...

  • Oh vitun! Haha, just kidding! What, you thought I was gonna be scared of some little explosion?

Kid
open
Unpaid

Kid (not his real name, just what the main guys call him) is a hallucination of the team that reminds them of their family and of home. Or so they thought.

See, Kid exists. He is, in fact, Spaxia. He guides the good guys into a trap the whole time and wins (that's what the whole second line is about)

Kid is around 10/11, and he has a high pitch voice at the beginning, but it deepens (not to adult, just, slightly) when he reveals himself

  • *Giggles*

  • Daddy? Mommy? I miss you...

  • (Serious, more adult tone) what? You thought you could get away with this?
