Announcement
TO ALL OF THE EXTRAS, BODY ACTORS, AND ARTISTS, MOONSTONE HIGH HAS BEEN DELAYED UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2022. THIS IS BECAUSE OF SCHOOL INTERFERING WITH MY SCHEDULE AND A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE'S SCHEDULES. WE WILL CONTINUE IN EARLY JUNE OF 2022, AND IF YOU ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN THIS PROJECT PLEASE LET ME KNOW, AND YOU WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED WHEN MOONSTONE HIGH STARTS UP AGAIN. About Moonstone High
Moonstone High is a Minecraft Cinematic Roleplay that follows teenagers through their 4 years of high school. They're met with multiple problems in society along with finding themselves. The first season follows their freshmen year. The main character Ash is met with unexpected occurrences that happen in her first year. Her life is turned around when the next-door neighbors move in.
Moonstone High will premiere on my YouTube channel (Ashquamer) along with other Roleplays soon to come in the future. Moonstone High will consist of four seasons, each season a different year in high school. There will be in-between series mainly consisting of the Moonstone High cast, examples include summer, camping, etc.
Requirements
•You must have Discord. This is a necessity as updates, directions, and communicating will be announced through Discord from me on the server. Please state your discord user ID in your audition.
•You must be 13+. I do not mind working with people younger or older than me as long as they are dedicated to this roleplay and try their hardest and respect me. You do not have to say your age in your audition.
•You must have a good microphone. I would like the voice actors to have as clear a mic as possible for the best quality for this roleplay.
•You must be able to turn in things on time. I also struggle with turning in things on time, and time management in general. I understand if you aren’t able to follow the deadlines exactly, which is why I’m totally fine with things being late, as long as they’re done. But please try to turn in things on time!
•You must be committed. I plan on this being 4 seasons total, 1 season being a different high school year. Most likely each season will take around half a year. So around 2 years total. But to see how this goes, for now, you must be committed to 1 season.
•Have fun. I would like everyone who makes it into this roleplay to have a great time and have fun with it. This shouldn’t turn into a job, instead, it will be more of a hobby or something to enjoy and look forward to. I’m always here to help out with anything anyone needs, so I want my cast to reach out to me if there are any issues or want to talk. :)
Disclaimers
This project is completely for fun and you will not make any money from this. If my channel ends up doing well and monetizes and makes money, I will pay everyone who works for me. So there’s a possibility, a slight one, but it’s still there.
The script for this series is not written yet, I am currently in the process of writing it. I am a very go with the flow type of person so this roleplay will be written as we go along with the project. I apologize if this doesn’t work well for you. I just like getting ideas as I go along.
My time zone is PST. You must be able to work with that.
The final decision for the roles will be held on July 18-20. If I have commented on your audition please respond to that and do as I ask if you can. These are the decided dates for when I and my co-directors will look through the auditions and decide who will get each role. This casting call will be checked every day, so just be aware that we will most likely have seen your audition! We will be responding to auditions on the last day. Please be patient with us and we wish you all good luck! :D
Auditioning
•Voice Actors I would like the voice actors to do the lines twice, you can change the tone or the way you say it. I just want to hear different ways to make sure I am content with my decision. Make sure to speak clearly and add emotion to your audition. You may mess around with the lines if you please, these aren’t in the script and are just lines I thought the character would say. You may also auditions for as many characters as you'd like.
•Body Actors You must have Java Minecraft Edition and must be able to handle 50+ mods. This roleplay contains many mods, so you must have a decent computer that’ll be able to run without lag. The server I have is very good and it does not lag at all. Please do not grief. If you do there’s no point for I have backups saved.
•Artists The only thing I need from artists is to be creative, mainly be creative with the way you draw the characters. I plan on having around 1-6 artists. You must be able to turn in things on time. (Again I’m completely fine if things are a bit late.)
Overall
Overall, I hope that this roleplay does well. I’ve always wanted to do role plays ever since I was little and I started watching other Youtubers do role plays such as ItsFunneh, Aphmau, and many more. It just seemed like so much fun. I do know that the roleplay community is sort of dead, but I want to be one of those who bring it back to life. I surely enjoyed roleplays as a child, and I hope others do too. :)

Anthony Reyes

Personality: Goofy kind of guy, likes to have fun but is also serious when it comes to swimming. He's a bit shy but can easily open up. He loves having deep talks with people especially when it comes to their passions. He loves seafood and sushi is one of his favorite dishes. He's smart when it comes to school, but chooses not to apply it to his work. He takes pride in swimming and his abilities. If someone is doubtful about their passion he's the one to go and talk to.
About: Anthony's main priority is swimming. Because his grades aren't the best he's depending on swimming to get through high school and into college. He doesn't want to get involved in relationships or anything like that in the meantime. He is a very hard worker and tends to overwork himself. He is still unsure about his sexuality and doesn't know how to feel about it. (Raylan later helps with this.) He transferred schools because Moonstone has one of the best swimming programs in the county.

Personality: A very playful person. Loves to tease people but not in a mean way. Loves listening to music in her spare time, mostly pop and K-pop. Watches a lot of anime especially ones with a pretty animation. She is relatively shy and is very hard to connect with. She seems serious on the outside but once you get to know her she's a bubbly girl. Very good listener and loves listening to other people's stories of themselves.
About: She is slowly getting back into volleyball, especially after watching a bunch of Haikyuu. She's ok with high school but wants to get out as soon as possible. She's just trying to live her life without the stress of school in the way. She only has a few close friends that she's stuck with throughout the years.

Personality: Very dedicated person. He is serious when it comes to volleyball, and it has been one of his passions since he was in high school. He is a very friendly person and tends to get along with everyone no matter their age. He is very good with kids especially teenagers. He is caring and if someone gets hurt he's the first one on the scene to help. He loves going out for food and it's one of his comforts.
About: Coach Gibson recently transferred from teaching as a coach at middle school to now high school. He wanted to do this because he believed that the generation going into high school would succeed well. He has known Ash, Kole, and Katherine ever since they were little though they don't really remember him from that age. He is single and lives in a one-bedroom apartment with his dog.
(Context: Ash smacked Nathan in the head with a volleyball.)

Personality: One of the easiest people to get to know. She is kind, caring, and overall a very energetic person. Everyone adores her for her willingness to help everyone. Not a gossiper, and takes people's secrets to her grave. She has a dark side when it comes to protecting her friends and can become very scary when she's messed with. She likes giving advice to people who ask her for it. It can be anything.
About: Ember is from a rich family tree. She doesn't care about her wealth and doesn't abuse it or show it off. Instead, she loves donating to charity. She's a great interior designer and is on the decorating team at Moonstone High. She is fashionable and always looks her best when she goes out.

Personality: He cares deeply about his loved ones. He is a bit strict, especially when it comes to school, but just wants his kids to do the best they can so they can have a good future. He is not very good at telling people his emotions. It's something he's struggled with ever since he was younger. He is protective and has a bit of a temper issue but has worked on it over time.
About: Gabriel is one of the minor characters in this roleplay but still has a big part. He is one of the people Ash and Vanessa look up to for guidance. Isabella is his wife and the mother of Ash and Isabella. He just wants his family to live healthy and long lives.

Voice Type: Medium-Low with a serious tone
Personality: A very serious person. She takes her work as her first priority. She is a cold person and it's rare for her to warm up. She does care a lot about her family. Mostly when it comes to Kurai and Nathan. She doesn't really like Lily. She used to be sweet when she was younger. She doesn't reveal anything about herself to anyone and keeps to herself a lot. She tends to listen to podcasts when she's stressed out. It calms her down.
About: Hiromi is Japanese and moved from Japan to America when she had Nathan. She and Kurai have since gotten a divorce a few months after Nathan was born. They are still working buddies and work together a lot especially when it comes to the hotel. She does come and visit Nathan when she can but is occupied with her work a lot of the time. She is a minor role but has a huge part in Nathan's life and his emotions.
(Context: Nathan slammed the door in Ash's face.)

Isabella Quamer

Voice Type: Medium-High with a comforting tone
Personality: Isabella has a very kind soul. She cares deeply about her family like Gabriel and wants to protect them as much as she can. Even though she is not able to see her daughters a lot, she sends handwritten letters to them letting them know she and Gabriel are ok. She isn't as strict about school as Gabriel, but she still wants them to try their hardest. She is very emotional and is very open about her feelings and opinions.
About: Isabella is in the military with Gabriel. She always video calls them once a week, every week unless she is busy. She tries to help Ash and Vanessa with their issues and difficulties, but it's difficult being so far away from them. She and Gabriel always visit during the holidays. Financially, they're fine. But Isabella and Gabriel want Ash and Vanessa to live lives they'll enjoy and won't have to worry about anything with payment. They're all a hardworking family.

Personality: She is stubborn and a bit stuck up. She's nice to friends but is really cold to those she doesn't know. She loves running in the morning especially when the sun is rising. She is a very hard worker and a great athlete. Her main sport is volleyball and it's been one of her passions since elementary. She doesn't have many friends, she's known Ash since they were younger but they're not friends yet. She doesn't know how to express her emotions very well, she expresses most things through anger.
About: In middle school, Katherine was on one of the best young girl volleyball teams in the state. She has been playing volleyball ever since she could hit a ball. She dropped off the team in high school so that she could practice at a different school with one of the best coaches. She has a twin brother named Kole, and they are known as the double K's. She is definitely one of the more prominent twins and sticks out more. She is very confident in herself and a little high-headed when it comes to things.

Personality: He is a contempt type of person. He's chill with a lot of things. He is easy to get along with once you get to know him. On the outside, he's like Katherine and is cold and distant from everyone. He likes to do volleyball but not as much as he likes to sing. Kole is calm and cool. He gets along with people who go with the flow. He and Katherine are very close and they tell each other everything
About: Unlike Katherine, Kole was never on a special volleyball team. Their parents were volleyball professionals in the Olympics. He's always second best to Katherine and has never gotten the spotlight to himself. His parents have high expectations for him but he doesn't want to meet them. He'd rather sing and write songs than play volleyball for the rest of his life. He ends up transferring schools to get away from Katherine and to learn more about himself, and to stop being second best.

Personality: He is a serious person, very cold, and hard to get along with. He is highly respected in general but especially at his work. He does not express emotions at all. His face is blank most of the time and he has no reaction to a lot of things. He used to a happy boy when he was younger, but that soon faded after he took over his father's company. Lily has recently come into his life and he's getting better at being family-oriented.
About: Kurai may have a very cold side, but to his family, he cares deeply. He doesn't express it but he has his own way of showing his love. He wants Nathan to succeed in his business when he becomes older and is out of high school. He's ok with Leo but doesn't really know him very well yet. He and his ex-wife Hiromi work together on the Fujii Hotel business and are partners in that only. He is mostly at work and it's rare he comes home. When he does come home, he tries his best to get along with everyone, though it usually ends up in a fight or argument.

Leo Fujii

Personality: He is a very kind person. He is joyful and enthusiastic all the time. He is very good at immediately becoming popular with other students or people in general. Parents love him, and he's a great friend to have. He will keep secrets, will not gossip, and he will even do your homework for you. Because of this, he's taken advantage of a lot and that had a toll on his mental health. He's slowly been getting better, but he hides everything behind a smile.
About: Leo transfers to Moonstone High and joins the swim team. He makes friends with Anthony almost immediately and they get along really well. Leo is very close to his mother, Lily. He is not close to Hiromi but is trying to get close to her. It's rather hard though because she doesn't like him. Kurai is alright with him, but he's rather strict when it comes to Leo. Leo is expected to do well in school for he has no future in the Fujii Hotel business for it is reserved for Nathan.

Personality: She has a very bubbly personality and gets along with other people very well. She is caring and very family-oriented like Isabella. She wants Nathan and Leo to get along and wants to get to know Hiromi better. She loves to sew in her spare time and is fashionable. She makes clothes and fixes anything that has ripped or fallen apart. She is a helper and loves to help around with anything whenever she can. She also loves to learn new things and has a bunch of random hobbies that she picked up when got bored of a past hobby.
About: Lily met Kurai a few months after Hiromi and him divorced. They got along very well almost immediately and got married a year later where they then had Leo. Leo and Nathan are half brothers Lily being the mother of Leo, Hiromi being the mother of Nathan, and Kurai being the father of both. Lily is a housewife and doesn't have a job, but she works around the house a lot. She volunteers at places when she has the time to. She is a very motherly character who cares a lot about her family.

Personality: He has the personality of a rock as Leo says. He is cold and distant and keeps to himself a lot. He has a very similar personality to Kurai. He loves listening to music and always has his headset on. He is a very big overthinker and is worried about a lot of things he shouldn't worry about. He doesn't have a specific taste in music and listens to mostly anything. He can be sweet if he puts his mind to it, but it's really rare and he only shows that side of him to his mother, Hiromi. He and Hiromi a very close and have a special bond that he and his father don't.
About: Nathan joins the volleyball team at Moonstone High. He doesn't want to take over his father's hotel business and would rather spend his days playing volleyball. He doesn't have any friends, online or in real life. He gets stressed out over things really easily and it takes him a while to calm him down. To calm himself down, he sticks on his headset and just listens to music, ignoring the world around him. He's a very relatable character and doesn't really care about high school. He was held a year back due to bad grades in middle school. He is working on it.

Personality: He is a fashionable and playful person. He always looks his best wherever and whenever he can. He doesn't care what other people view of him. He is very confident in himself and his sexuality. He is out about being gay and everyone knows it. He is one of the popular kids, but the good popular kids. One of the ones who support others and doesn't look down on anyone. He considers everyone around him as equals. No one is superior or inferior in his eyes. He and Ember are very close and share everything with each other. They are each other's buddies.
About: Raylan is one of the LGBTQIA+ characters in this series. He is proud and confident in himself and doesn't let anyone talk him down. He is very kind and everyone respects him as a person. A lot of people come up to talk to him about the most random things and he puts everything aside just to listen. He is someone you can confide in when you need him. He is like everyone's best friend. He and Ember are both wealthy but don't really acknowledge it. He doesn't care if he has money or not, he just wants to live his life to the fullest without anyone or anything getting in his way.

Personality: She is a very chill person. She doesn't really care about what happens around her. She is a go with the flow type of person. She has a really close relationship with Ash and cares about her a lot. She is open about her sexuality but has trouble finding a lover. She confides in Ash with these kinds of things and they always have a lot of heartwarming talks with each other. She loves to have deep conversations with people and doesn't like small talk. She also loves the rain and the smell of it. It's soothing to her. She really wants to get a job but has to take care of Ash until her parents are done with the military.
About: Vanessa is struggling with herself right now. She wants to leave and travel the world and go to college but is kind of forced to stay and take care of Ash. She doesn't know how to tell her parents about her feelings. She also doesn't want to leave Ash all alone. She has a really close bond with Ash and she doesn't want to damage it by leaving or hurting Ash's feelings. Vanessa finds it hard to bring up her feelings to her family, especially when it comes to things about herself. She's always hidden away her thoughts and kept to her own mind.
