We’re looking for an enthusiastic composer and sound designer to help us finish the animatics for our mini-series:
Moons of Celoros - 54321 is an action-packed sci-fi fantasy adventure, where every episode gets shorter as the tension in the story ramps up. It's about a group of adventurers trying to recover an ancient technology from a crumbling compound. A mashup of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars with a cartoony art style.
Here’s the animatic for the first episode:
The first episode is 5 minutes, then 4, then 3, then 2, and 1. The storyboards and voice over are done, the last step is to put together the final soundtrack/soundscape.

Caring, mystical, intense
Red is the wise wizard of this story, leader of the mission. Red holds her position and power with great respect. She will do what she can to accomplish the mission, leaves nothing on the table and is willing to sacrifice all she has for the collective good. While intense at times, underneath her drive is how much she cares for the members of her team.
Forgive him Tobin, these are wracked times where true friends are hard to find.
...But then something unexpected happened.
The Being grew jealous... It built a fortress of fire in the clouds of Celoros. There it gathered forces to demand it’s will.
The best of us Wizards have a code. Never ask those to give more than they can. And we ask of ourselves to give everything our power provides.
Energetic, charming, optimistic
Tobin is a Dwarven technician and inventor, always on the lookout for the novel solution to a problem. Tobin cares deeply about others, and is loyal to his friends. While a tinkerer, Tobin is also adventurous and has aided Red in previous campaign many seasons ago. He’s somewhat impulsive and not afraid to think on his feet.
Of course the walls are tense, didn't Arrow say the whole place'll come down, at sunrise?

Convicted, maniacal
Nora is Red’s “sister wizard”. She was sent by The Being to stop the mission, but she doesn’t really care about that. What she cares most about is getting back at Red. Nora is insulted by Red’s principles. She wants to best her to prove she is right.
Hello, Red. I don't know why you're in a rubbish dump like this. But when I heard you were coming to Breth, I couldn't miss the opportunity.
You're holding back. I'm willing to bring this whole mountain down to defeat you. Are you?

Stoic, direct/commanding
Elio is an elf-like general, who lost his arm in a battle and now uses a prosthetic.

Red, the exits are blocked.
Arrow has spontaneous visions that she can’t control. She’s versatile, multi-skilled and able to think on her feet.
(gasping) The compound is unstable. At sunrise it's all going to be rock-piled.
I've found another path for us, through the datacombs. It'll take a little longer, though…
Warm, like a Hobbit in Giants' shoes
Jac has a fascination with spacecraft and dreams of becoming a pilot. Jac and Arrow grew up together as siblings, worrying when she falls unconscious due to her visions.
Growing up, Arrow and I helped fix Rethribon's stone fence for a fresh slice of Bramble Apple Pie. Oh what I'd give for a slice of that pie now.
Red! Arrow's not doing so good.
The Quarians are going to bring this whole place down.
Our goal is that the music would match the sci/fi fantasy mashup of the series. For it to be evocative and cinematic. We are looking for someone who can experiment and come up with creative solutions and interesting instrument choices. Especially since this is an independent budget, if there’s a clever way to balance complexity vs. simplicity while still telling the story, we’re all for it!
Prospective candidates will be asked to meet for a brief meeting to discuss the project and the possibility of working together further. Payment will be sent via Paypal. Note: rates are in CAD.

We’re also in need of a sound designer to help us add sound fx to the series. There’s crackling magic, a robot horde, a collapsing compound, and more that need to be brought to life.
