Mojave Express Courier Delivery Work
Project Overview
OVERVIEW
This is a mod project for the game Fallout New Vegas. In the game, you play as a courier, a sort of wasteland mailman, but aside from a couple specific odd jobs, there is never an opportunity to actually deliver mail as a means of actual work.
I've taken it upon myself to create a package delivery system that the player can use with lots of choice and reactivity. Deadlines, package losses, muggings and random encounters are a few of the many included features.
WHAT'S LEFT
Everything has been thoroughly implemented and rigorously tested, and all that's really left is voice work. There are a few characters to voice, presented further down, mostly with maybe 5 lines each, and one major character, the delivery supervisor, with considerably more lines.
PAYMENT
Modding is a hobby of mine which I make no money from, so I unfortunately do not have the means to compensate anyone monetarily. I will definitely properly credit anyone who gets involved and will be immensely grateful for everyone who gives some of their time for this project.

Just a regular soldier who is not too content with his current position. He is simply bored out of his mind, stationed at a toll booth in a quiet area with little traffic. The monotony and repetitiveness of his task is soul-draining. Nothing too dramatic though.
{Bored of sitting down, stationed at the same post all week. The player approaches you, and you give them the same script you've been repeating all day: }
Stop. This is a toll station.{In an automatic, robotic way, like a memorized script}
Pay the 50 cap{currency} caravan fee before you move on, traveller.
The Brotherhood of Steel is an overzealous organization whose purpose is to detain and confiscate dangerous technology from the hands of clueless wastelanders.
{You see some fool gallivanting about with a dangerous laser rifle. You accost them to retrieve the powerful device: }
Stop right here, wastelander!
{Important tone, like a Government Official}
As a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, I am going to have to confiscate this piece of technology you are carrying.
{Authoritative, intimidating tone}
Hand it over.
Nothing special, just a guy waiting for his package to arrive. Multiple roles available, for recipient variety.
Hey there, I'm waiting for a package. Are you the courier they sent?
{Irritated}
You're late. This was very important. This better not happen again.
Overworked and stressed, can be a bit cold and direct at times due to being high-strung, but not a malevolent person.
{The player is asking about the rates per delivery. Annoyed, wants the player to stop bothering 'em}
I'd rather spare you the complicated process of calculating your pay. Just deliver your parcel and you'll get what you get.{Scornful tone, bothered by the extra work this will entail}
You were late with your delivery. That's unacceptable. If you keep up with such bad standards, you will tarnish our reputation.
