Background/Production
Hello! I'm a sound designer and producer looking to make a small but high quality side series to my main production.
While this project is based in the Vocaloid fandom, no knowledge of Kaito, Vocaloid, or even singing is needed.
Production will be a little off and on given this is a secondary production so contact with the voice overs is a must. Please have Skype or Discord available. As of right now, I'm guesstimating small 2-5 minute limited animation episodes every few months or so. Very light work load for the Voice actors!
Story
Far in the future, humans have perfected the technology to make androids indistinguishable from humans. Now these androids are being distributed on a commercial level to the rich and wealthy!
Our story follows a particular Kaito Shion unit. When his human Master believes he is glitching, she attempts to repair him and accidentally ends up creating another Kaito unit....and another....and another. Now Kaito's Master has a house full of Kaito derivatives, each with unique personalitys and traits. However, given these android’s thoughts and feelings are indistinguishable from humans...they’re a bit more complex than the air-headed Kaito Master realizes....
Auditions
1st line: Gives me a base for your voice
2nd line: Emotional line. Give me a sense for how well you can act!
3rd line: Yelling line. Give me a sense for how loud you can be.
(Multiple takes is fine as long as each take is a different read)
Kaito is the first of his many "brothers" and takes on the role of caring for everyone when his Master is away. In terms of personality, Kaito is calm, mature, and a bit of a workaholic. However, he's easily stressed and is usually called upon to break up fights when his many brother's personalities clash.

Akaito is Kaito's twin brother and is the family trouble maker. While having good intentions, and even a heart of gold at times, he can come off as something as a punk or even a bully, thinking himself the best around.

Taito is generally pretty quiet, but when he speaks, his words are laced with venom. He hates just about everyone except the Shion Master who he is an obsessive fan of. In fact, some may go so far as to call Taito a yandere.

Master starts out her morning routine with a 8 to 10 minute shower and then she leaves the house at 10' o clock sharp. After her first class, which ends at 1:45, she always go to lunch at the same cafe, and always gets a raspberry scone with a sugar free caramel latte with two shots of added espresso. ( Overly happy/ Speaking quickly for comedy sketch)

Nigaito looks and sounds the youngest in the family. He also sounds like he is always fighting off a cold (So having a lisp is optional)
However, Nigaito's biggest secret is that he's actually programed to be an adult just like all of his brothers. He's secretly smarter than most around him, but no one realizes given how young he looks and sounds
