MISSION06
Project Overview
MISSION06 is a thesis film about a team of Torontonians who cover unanswered oddities with their own independent news site. In this episode, the team strives to get a closer look at an outlandish storm. The film will be roughly 1-1:30 minutes in length, and is dialogue heavy.
Some more info:
- I will be mostly communicating with voice talents over Discord. Please make sure you have an account set up if you are selected for the role.
-Since I will be running this project on a tight schedule, most voice lines will have to be recorded by the end of October latest. This is an assignment, so I have to work with deadlines and milestones set up by the school.
-I will not be hiring voice talent under the age of 18.
-This film will be released online via Youtube and Newgrounds. if you are uncomfortable with your voice being used on public websites, please consider this.
- Please make sure you have quality equipment that blocks out any background sound or ambient noises. Additionally, I ask that you do not use voice changers to modify your voice. I wanna hear the real you!!!
-All talent will be properly credited for their work and role as their designated character!

Ms. McGee is the most talkative and expressive character of the three roles needed on this project. She has an average pitch, somewhat cartoony/exaggerated voice, kind of reminiscent of female anime English dub characters such as Haruko Haruhara from FLCL or Nami from One Piece.

An odd set of an events that typical news wont cover? ABSOLUTELY!
Could this be a typical thunderstorm? Or something a little more... extraordinary?
Saber is an energetic, cool, and artsy guy. His voice is in the mid to low range pitch wise, similar to characters like Professor K (Jet Set Radio) and Russel Hobs from Gorillaz., while putting emphasis on being very expressive and high energy.

Even my heart is all warm and fuzzy inside...
Mammoth is an androgynous, low energy character who barely displays much emotion. this is not to say that they are heartless or sad, just extremely low key. They are a very minor character that only speaks once.

Mr. Meeny is an older news reporter that serves as the main antagonist of Mission06.
I have no notes on reference other than to make him sound older (not senior, just aged.) and to give him a BIT of rasp to his voice. other than that, I'd love to see how YOU interpret his role!!
