Hello, Miraculers and voice actors alike! This first casting call for ‘Miraculous: Fandubbed’. This casting call includes the first six episodes we’re doing, “Ladybug & Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)” “Stoneheart (Origins - Part 2)” “Volpina” “The Collector” “Prime Queen” and “Despair Bear”

ABOUT MIRACULOUS LADYBUG
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is a CGI animated French series. It is a co-production by ZAG Animation, Method Animation, Disney Channel EMEA, Toei Animation, SAMG Animation, SK Broadband, PGS Entertainment and AB International Distribution. But the show is already dubbed! Why are you redubbing it?
For fun! I’ve been wanting to do this fandub since 2016 and I really wanted to make something that could connect the community together!
Do I have to do Impressions?
Nope, everything is up to interpretation! There's only the actor as
Why are you only doing three episodes of Season 1?
Because the first season 1 is mostly filler and we wanted to get straight into the meat of it.
Why aren’t you casting the whole of Season 2 at once?
Because we wanted to keep the casting call smaller. And also that we don’t cast someone but don’t use them until six months later.
Then why are some Akumatized Villians that aren’t in those episodes there?
Because those characters get akumatized later in the season.
Where are you distributing the dub?
Youtube! And maybe some other websites.
Won’t that get copyright striked?
It doesn’t seem so- anymore. It seems that episodes only get content claimed not taken down unlike in the past. So we should be in the clear.
Do you have any experience with fandubbing?
Yes! I’ve been doing this sort of stuff for around 7 years. And I’ve been a part of a long time dub for 4. And I’ve been making custom studio instrumentals and such for fandubs recently!
What’s a studio instrumental?
Studio instrumental is just a fun term we use for the original audio without the voices. This can be achieved by ripping the voices out of the audio. I’ve got 3 out of 6 done at the moment.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is one of the main protagonists of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Marinette is a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, France. She is also a budding fashion designer. With the Ladybug Miraculous, when inhabited by Tikki, Marinette transforms into the superheroine Ladybug, gaining the power of creation to stop Hawk Moth and his akumatized villains. Marinette is a sweet, outgoing, joyful, a bit awkward and clumsy girl. She loves fashion, her friends, family, and her crush, Adrien Agreste. Adrien Agreste is one of the main protagonists of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, France. He is also a fashion model for his father's brand. With the Cat Miraculous, when it is inhabited by Plagg, Adrien transforms into the superhero Cat Noir, gaining the power of bad luck and destruction to stop Hawk Moth and his akumatized villains. Adrien is charismatic, but shy, a bit reserved, and slightly innocent — partially due to his unfamiliarity to much of the world beyond his father's reach. Gabriel Agreste is Adrien's father and a famous fashion designer, creating and owning the brand Gabriel. With the Butterfly Miraculous, when inhabited by Nooroo, he transforms into Hawk Moth, who is the main antagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He wants Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses for himself in order to obtain absolute power and grant his secret wish. Nathalie Sancoeur is Gabriel Agreste's assistant who manages his mansion and takes care of his son Adrien. Nathalie Sancoeur[2] is Gabriel Agreste's assistant who manages his mansion and takes care of his son Adrien. In "Catalyst", which is part of the "Heroes' Day" special, she is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Catalyst, a power-enhancing supervillain. In "Mayura", in order to help Hawk Moth escape from the French Miraculous superhero team, Nathalie uses the Peacock Miraculous and, as the Miraculous is inhabited by Duusu, she becomes Mayura, a peacock-themed supervillain who helps Hawk Moth by creating allies for akumatized villains. Nathalie is serious and formal, working very diligently as Gabriel's assistant. At his best, Plagg can be described as being carefree and easygoing. At his worst, he is negligent, overindulgent, lazy, and sour. Nooroo is the kwami of transmission that is connected to the Butterfly Miraculous, and with his power, his wearer can use the brooch to transform into a butterfly-themed superhero, the current wearer being Gabriel Agreste, who uses it as a villain. Alya Césaire is Marinette Dupain-Cheng's best friend and a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont. She is also the sole admin of the Ladyblog and head of the school blog. In "Sapotis", after Alya receives the Fox Miraculous from Ladybug, she, when the Miraculous is inhabited by Trixx, becomes Rena Rouge, a fox-themed superhero who helps Ladybug and Cat Noir "during particularly difficult missions" in the second season. Alya is rather energetic, passionate, and funny, confident, yet down to earth and smart. She is extremely loyal, supportive, helpful, and sometimes pushy, such as when she goes out of her way to encourage and (sometimes literally) push Marinette into spending time with Adrien. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

Chloé Bourgeois is Marinette Dupain-Cheng's rival and a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont. Chloé is also the daughter of André Bourgeois and Audrey Bourgeois. In "Style Queen", after Ladybug loses the Bee Miraculous she wants to entrust to Alya Césaire, Chloé finds the Bee Miraculous, and she, when the Miraculous is inhabited by Pollen, becomes Queen Bee, a bee-themed superhero who helps Ladybug and Cat Noir "during particularly difficult missions" in the second season. Chloé is a spoiled, arrogant and superficial girl. She does everything in her power to crush and humiliate the other students, especially Marinette Chloé believes that she is the most important person in the world and everyone adores her. Nino Lahiffe is Adrien's best friend and a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont. In "Anansi", after Nino receives the Turtle Miraculous from Ladybug, he, when the Miraculous is inhabited by Wayzz, becomes Carapace, a turtle-themed superhero who helps Ladybug and Cat Noir "during particularly difficult missions" in the second season. Nino is fun-loving, enthusiastic, friendly, and compassionate. He enjoys being a DJ at parties and hanging out with friends. He is described as "a caring friend with a strong sense of right and wrong." Noticing when someone, like Adrien, is upset, he does what he can to comfort them or cheer them up. Master Wang Fu is a healer and the Great Guardian of the Miraculouses. He gives Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste their Miraculouses to stop Hawk Moth and his villains' evil-doings. With the Turtle Miraculous, when inhabited by Wayzz, Master Fu transforms into a turtle-themed superhero. He is also the last known remaining guardian from the Order of the Guardians Master Fu is wise, respectful, and gentle. He is dedicated to keeping Miraculouses out of the wrong hands to maintain balance, and he recognizes good heroes as kind, helpful individuals who put others before themselves. While he is serious when it comes to his work as a healer and a guardian, Master Fu can also be lighthearted, often slightly teasing Marinette. You need to understand that every time something new appears in the universe, like love, beauty, and even mathematics, a kwami is formed. For instance, Tikki is the kwami of creation, which means that she appeared in the beginning.
Wayzz is the kwami of protection that is connected to the Turtle Miraculous, and with his power, its wearer can use the bracelet to transform into a turtle-themed superhero, the current wearer being Master Wang Fu. Wayzz normally stays with Master Fu but he temporarily becomes loaned to Nino to help him transform into Carapace. Wayzz is kind, compassionate, and helpful. He worries when Miraculouses are being used incorrectly and Master Fu takes risks, but he trusts the wisdom of Master Fu, although concerned for the safety of his partner, the remaining Miraculous, and other Miraculous holders. He has a sense of humor, teasing Marinette that she should have been given the kwami of lateness. Ivan Bruel is a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont. In "Ladybug & Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)", after Kim teases him for not having the guts to ask Mylène out, he gets akumatized by Hawk Moth and becomes Stoneheart, a rock golem supervillain. Because Ladybug doesn't purify the akuma after defeating him the first time, he gets akumatized once again in "Stoneheart (Origins - Part 2)" when Mylène runs away from him because of his loud serenade. Lila Rossi is an Italian girl and a new student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont. In "Volpina", after Ladybug humiliates her in front of Adrien by exposing the lie about she and Ladybug being close friends and owning the Fox Miraculous, she is akumatized by Hawk Moth and becomes Volpina, a fox-themed supervillain who is a master of illusions. Lila is crafty, sneaky, and proud. She loves attention, which she is willing to obtain by lying, even if it means going beyond words to support her lies, like buying a necklace that looks like the Fox Miraculous to convince Adrien telling that she is a descendant of the fox-themed superhero. She gets jealous if someone gets more attention or love than her, and she doesn't like it when someone reveals that her lies aren't true, showing no remorse for lying in the first place. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

Nadja Chamack is a TVi news reporter and Manon's mother. In "Prime Queen", after Arlette cancels her show, she is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Prime Queen, a television and media controlling supervillain. Nadja is nice, informative, and interested in getting the details on an event to Paris. She gets impatient if she has to wait too long, and she sometimes goes too far in her quest for news. Prime Queen, while good at onscreen presentation and strategics, is haughty and demanding, wanting Ladybug and Cat Noir to announce that they are in love. Her obsession with the heroes makes her more than willing to force them to reveal their identities on live television for Hawk Moth, and she blackmails them by endangering civilians Chloé and Alya without remorse. However, her desire for answers make her act rashly, her aggravation of not being able to see Ladybug and Cat Noir detransform and kiss driving her to travel to them, falling for their trap. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

Butler Jean is an employee at Le Grand Paris. In "Despair Bear", after being fired by Chloé Bourgeois, he is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Despair Bear, a supervillain who controls a small teddy bear. Jean is dignified, helpful, and quite polite. As seen in "Despair Bear", he likes to encourage people's best traits. As Despair Bear, he is very strict in expectations on how people should act, and he is vengeful towards Chloé for being a terrible person. He doesn't like losing, getting very angry and trying to attack Cat Noir despite being very tiny and unable to do damage without the bear. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

Sabine Cheng is Marinette's mother, a highly upheld merchant, and the co-owner of Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie with her husband, Tom Dupain. Sabine is gentle, kind, and loving to her family and the people around her. However, she is a good responsible parent who will discuss issues with her daughter and give punishments like grounding her at the worst. Sometimes, Sabine is a bit nosy and over-involved, usually when it comes to Marinette with her crushes. Tom Dupain is Marinette's father and the owner of the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie with his wife, Sabine Cheng. Tom is passionate about his job and loves to share with his daughter. He also likes to play video games with Marinette and seems to be quite confident in his abilities as a gamer, saying his daughter learned from the best. He also gets exasperated, frustrated, and disappointed in some cases, but he usually means well and doesn't hold a grudge afterward. While he can be intrusive sometimes, usually related to Marinette's crushes, he knows his boundaries. Caring about the well-being of others, Tom assists and comforts anyone, whether he is familiar with them or not, and he is very friendly and optimistic. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

Manon Chamack is the daughter of Nadja Chamack and a girl that Marinette babysits. Manon is rambunctious, energetic, stubborn, and naive. She loves to have fun, but she doesn't like it when people don't keep their promises or are being unfair — whether it's in her eyes or it's true. She's also a bit capricious, getting angry when she doesn't get what she wants, and she can be disobedient at times to her mother or her babysitter. She sometimes tries to use baby doll eyes to win others over, although it doesn't always work, while she gets emotional about things she doesn't like, over time, she usually recovers from it in normal circumstances. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

André Bourgeois is the mayor of Paris and the owner of Le Grand Paris. He is also the husband of Audrey Bourgeois and the father of Chloé Bourgeois. In "Malediktator", after his daughter threatens to leave Paris, André is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Malediktator, a dictator supervillain. André is approachable and regal, though he is very willing to be manipulative, deceptive, and degrading when it comes to his political or personal goals. Rather prideful, André tends to care more about his wealth, prestige, and daughter than the welfare of the people of Paris. As Malediktator, he is completely tyrannical, using his powers to make others do what he wants. He still cares for his daughter, though, as he attempts to make her dreams come true so that she'll stay in Paris with him.

Damaging my daughter's reputation is the same as soiling the reputation of the Mayor of Paris, uh, which is me. An attack on Chloé is an attack on Paris.

Miss Caline Bustier is a teacher at Collège Françoise Dupont. She teaches French literature, poetry, and other languages. In "Zombizou", while trying to protect Marinette from an akuma, she is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Zombizou, a zombie kissing supervillain. Caline is pleasant, kind, helpful, and instructive. She is kind to her students, but she is stern with them if they misbehave, and she will send them to Mr. Damocles' office if she thinks it's necessary. Caline also has incredible willpower, being able to initially resist becoming infected by an akuma in "Zombizou," something no one has been seen to do before. Mr. Damocles is the principal of Collège Françoise Dupont.[1] In "The Dark Owl", after trying and failing to become a superhero and being humiliated by the media for it, he is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Dark Owl, an Owl-themed supervillain. Mr. Damocles is serious, courteous, and authoritative, but he struggles under pressure. As seen in "The Dark Owl", Mr. Damocles holds admiration and respect for Ladybug and Cat Noir, so much so that he attempts to become a superhero himself, desiring to help others under a secret identity and showing that he has a good heart and intentions. However, he can be obtuse at times, not listening to Cat Noir and Ladybug when they urge him to stop his superhero antics so he won't endanger himself. -Miraculous Ladybug Wikia

She seems to like scary things, or be unafraid of such, as she is the only student to not fear Horrificator, calling her "awesome" in the episode of the same name. He enjoys making dares, much to the frustration of his classmates, and he is also very confident in himself and his athletic abilities, thus most of his dares involve using the person's body. Over-confident and proud, Kim sometimes boasts about his abilities and doesn't always take facts into consideration, believing he can beat a panther in a race.
