Project Overview
After Naomi LaClair ends her engagement to Shotaro Satanoka and goes off to pursue her dream of becoming a top Hollywood actress, two years pass and these two lovers are brought together for a friend's wedding. Old feelings reignite as they try to work out what made their love fall apart. There is only one problem...Shotaro is arranged to marry Midori against his will.
Will they be able to reunite? Or is their love doomed to be lost?

Nicola Hoshino is Naomi's best friend since childhood. The two of them have done everything ranging from getting their ears pierced to experiencing their first kiss together. Nicola's described as the bold, beautiful and sassy beauty from Osaka (despite only being in Osaka for two months after her birth). She believes in true love and will always cheer everyone on in that aspect. While it's said that Nicola is usually the one who gets her friends into hairbrained schemes it is far from the truth.
In short, Nicola is always there when needed.
Note: Nicola didn't get a chance to appear in "Was It So Wrong" due to the fact she was busy helping Naomi's parents distract the wedding guests while the others handled the recuse.

Travis Woods is Nicola's fiance (Late husband). He is a happy go lucky eccentric young man who doesn't let too many things in life get to him. He is the son of the famed Hugh Windham of Windham Tower. He enjoys helping Nicola go through hairbrained schemes and will add his input in hopes of it working. He also Shotaro's self-proclaimed best friend but cannot seem to understand when Shotaro tells him to get lost when he annoys him.
Come on Shotaro, you have to come over for dinner tonight! Nicola's making her famous steak and potatoes.

Yakunan Satanoka is a fierce, cruel businessman who runs his company and family with an iron fist. In the boardroom, he is feared by those who dare try to commit a hostile takeover. At home, he treats his family as though they're nothing but pawns on a chess board. He doesn't think any of them except his eldest son have any worth to the family and company. He also looks down on the "working class" and deem them as wastes of space and a burden on society.
He is also a notorious playboy and will date women he deems as acceptable ladies for the night.
He will do anything to get ahead of any other businesses even forcing his "weaker" children into arranged marriages for business deals. He doesn't care about what they want and will do all he can to ensure that they don't fail him.
Shotaro, I know what's best for you. Miss Sato is to be your wife.
(ANGRILY)

Saeko is Shotaro's oldest sister. She was the first of the three Satanoka daughters to be married off once she reached age 20. she is a patient, understanding and caring woman. She believes that people should marry for true love than being forced to do so. She is very afraid of inflicting her father's wrath which is why she has never once spoken up against the plans he's made for her. However, she is very overprotective of her younger brother to the point of speaking when not being told to speak.
She is a doting mother to her daughter Wakana and believes that if she is a better mother to her daughter then she can protect Wakana from the plans her father has made for her as well.
(CONCERNED)
Are you sure you're eating enough Shotaro? Maybe I should go down to the firehouse to cook for you.
(ANGRY)
Father! This isn't your decision! Shotaro wants to marry for true love! Why can't you see that?!
(NERVOUSLY)
Oh um come on Wakana we should be going home now.
Seika Satanoka is Shotaro's second older sister and is deemed as a failure in her father's eyes. Seika is soft-spoken, shy and timid. She doesn't enjoy disappointing her father nor does she speak up on her own behalf often. She has to protected by Saeko at times because she doesn't protect herself from being hurt or treated badly. She was once married but divorced from her husband when she found out he was having an affair with another woman. Her father then madae it a point to remind her everyday and that she "failed as a wife" and should try to do more to ensure that her next marriage doesn't fail.

Kirihiko Satanoka is Shotaro's older and only brother. He is a cruel, manipulative and abusive person. He treats his sisters and younger brother like they're burdens on him. He doesn't go against anything their father tells them and thus he is the one chosen to one day take over the Satanoka family business. He has a sharp tongue and wit about him and thus he is viewed as the perfect family successor. He seems to bear some hatred against Shotaro because he knows the truth about Shotaro's mother and thus considers him to be a "stain on the family's name".
He is very cruel towards Seika and verbally abuses her anytime she's in the room.
He is neutral towards Saeko and has been known to at least listen to her when she talks to him. Other than that they don't have a very close relationship.

Shotaro, you need to listen to what father tells you. It is for the best really.

Wakana is Shotaro's 4-year-old niece. She is a happy genki sort of girl who loves all things pink, princess and cute. She loves her parents and uncles dearly but tends to get herself into a lot of trouble when it comes to keeping a secret. She doesn't like Midori and considers her a "Wicked Witch" from her storybooks and would much rather have a princess for an aunt.
She is very close to her Uncle Shotaro (Who she calls Uncle Sho) and they have special tea parties every other weekend.

(CHEERFUL)

Sara Shiraishi is Shotaro's mother who was thought to have abandoned him when he was a newborn but that's not the case. There is a deep secret that lies in her past and thus many people view her as a horrible human being. However, it is said that she was once a prostitute working on the streets to make ends meet, another rumor is said that she tried to use the Satanoka family name to become famous.
The truth is that she was once Yakunan Satanoka's mistress and once he found out she was pregnant he forced her to go into hiding after birthing their son.
She is kind-hearted, loving and cares deeply for her son and daughter. She doesn't enjoy watching from the sidelines of the abuse that Shotaro dealt with throughout childhood. When she was able to help him she allowed him to move in with her when he was in college and did all she could to pay for his college tuition. She never told him the truth of who she really was and only told him she was "a friend of his mother".

Gustave Laclair is Naomi's jovial, cheerful father who enjoys cooking, fine wine and making sure his family is happy. He originally came to The United States on a college study abroad program in the early seventies and thus he began his journey of wanting to one day become a famous chef. However, fate had other plans as he met a woman by the name of Nevah King during his senior year of college. They fell madly in love and during Nevah's final year of college he proposed to her and married her a few months before their first daughter Naomi was born. As time went on Gustave opened his own restaurant and has employed his wife and daughters as workers.
He is very protective over all his daughters and doesn't think that any man they bring home will ever be good enough for them. He worries more about Naomi than Judy and Karen due to her being the oldest. he does, however, allow the girls to grow up at their own pace but still spoils them much to his wife's dismay.
(CONCERNED)

Nevah LaClair is Naomi's no-nonsense mother who cares a lot about her family. She is a stay-at-home mother and takes care of everything around the house and sometimes works down in the restaurant as an accountant. She believes that everyone deserves a second chance and has been shown to be patient and loving when the situation deems it. She doesn't enjoy dealing with attitudes and will threaten to slap the taste out of someone's mouth. She is also referred to as a "ghetto snob" due to the fact that people assume that she doesn't have any husband or that she has "no class".
She is strict with her children and tells them to stay away from drugs and not to have babies for her to raise.

Susumu Sato is Midori's weak-willed father. He is a man who lacks any power over his family as he is ruled by his wife and daughter. He tries to keep them happy and has been known to quell Midori's tantrums by giving her gifts and ensuring she gets what she wants. He is very afraid of his daughter and does everything he can to stay on her good side.
Midori, calm down we'll find out why he ran out on you. Just stop screaming!

Miyuki Sato is Midori's stepmother. She is a kind woman and wants what's best for her stepdaughter. she hides behind a facade of being selfish and only caring about pleasing her family (most notably her only daughter). Though it is said that she's very afraid of Midori and doesn't do anything to upset her.

Forba Patel is the director for the Trixie Firecracker superhero films, he is pretty particular about what talent he casts for his films. He also hopes to break free from the line of terrible Vampire Teen Romance Films her directed in his early days.
I’ll delay production on this movie and we’ll go back to making those horrible Vampire Teen Romance films.
