Project Overview
What is Maven?
Maven is a self funded indie animation project that is loosely based off of a webcomic that I started a while back. Genre of the story is a fantasy-romance type. This casting call is just the for the first episode. I plan on having 5-6 episodes for the first season. More characters will be introduced along the way, so don’t fret if you don’t get picked this round!

Story
The story is about a girl, Eleanor Wells, who inherits a family house. Little does she know that this house is in the magical realm of Elade. She realizes that this place is not so ordinary as she acquaints herself with the local fae (magicl beings). One in particular being Aleq, an ominous being who was requested to... look after Eleanor upon her return.
Eleanor discovers that she is a special type of fae called a Maven, she holds a unique ability that no other fae possesses. The power to mimic other fae’s magical abilities! Yes like Sylar from Heroes - except the killing part of course.
Unfortunately she is held under a powerful spell preventing her from using her magic. Aleq and Eleanor go on an adventure to have the spell broken. Watch as the mentor-apprentice relationship between Aleq and Eleanor blossom into something… romantic.
What are the requirements?
Have a decent quality microphone with little to no background noise, experience is not a requirement.
Have commitment to the project and not drop out in the middle of production. Especially if you’re casted as a main character, this would jam things up! And I only like jam on my biscuits.
Have confidentiality in the content throughout the production of Maven. Please don’t leak them spoilers boi.
Please be respectful and easy to work with. I don’t wanna have to fight you.
Have a discord and means of contact through social media accounts (instagram, twitter, email)
Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!
Status on the show
Currently, the script is done for episode one. Storyboard is in process while the VA auditions go on.
Author’s note
Feel free to try different styles for the character's voices, don't be afraid to improv too! Down below is a brief description of the character. Hopefully there's enough to work as this is my first time holding auditions.
This gig is paid and I do plan on increasing wages as the story goes on! Hopefully one day patreon funding will take the wheel, but for right now I’m spending out of pocket.

Hello everyone! Update to the role of Eleanor Wells
Hello there, terribly sorry to bring this news, but I'm going to redo Eleanor's voice description. It was my bad I was too vague, and did a terrible job at explaining it. I'll be fixing it soon, keep your head on a swivel! Basically I'm looking for a deeper/strong toned voice. Looking for something similar to Adora from She RA. Sorry for the inconvenience! Eleanor is the main protagonist, as the story will be mostly following her. She she ends up in the magical realm of Elade and learns that she is a special type of fae called a Maven.
Eleanor has an American accent, and I’m looking for something deep/strong to coincide with her personality (as well as her face, she has a very long face lol). Something similar to Adora from the She-Ra reboot on Netflix. Eleanor has the potential to become one of the most powerful fae in the realm, and I need to find a voice that will suit that future version of her.

Aleq is a fae of some sorts that stands nearly 9 feet tall. He’s a mellow fellow, or a gentle giant so to speak. He is aware that others may be intimidated by his presence so he hopes his politeness and gentle tone will ease them. As you can see, it is hard for him to show expression through that mask of his, so viewers will be relying on your voice to read his emotions.
Aleq has a deep voice and speaks a bit… slower. He's been around for a while and likes to take things... slower. So don’t feel rushed when reading the lines. He has a gentle tone whenever he speaks. As far as accents, I’m looking for something Slavic in sounding.

(Assuring) He was her husband, your uncle, and also the previous Maven. The Maven soul reincarnates as soon as the body dies. Technically he is you, as you are him, as are all of your predecessors. You all share the same soul, each a different book but with the same title.
(Intrigued/Attentive) A curse you say? Yes this seem to be hindering you. Miss Wells, do you know who did this to you?
(Slightly annoyed) It would seem Miss Wells wasn’t the only one Linda was keeping secrets from.
(Pondering/Annoyed) *sighs* Perhaps.

Ara (Air-ruh) is a Kyndra (demigod) who can switch forms between a koi fish and a mermaid. She is siren of sorts and has the ability to lure people in with her song. Looking for a deep mature female voice. Accent is up to you!

This little guy stands a whopping 16 inches tall. He is a gatekeeper of different realms! More of a terminal clerk than anything. He’s the one to punch your tickets and stamp your papers when you go abroad to another realm.
There’s a little bit of attitude and impatience behind his voice, as would anyone who works in a customer service job. Straight up, give me your best Cockney accent (almost like Bert from Mary Poppins). I want my coffee turning into tea by the time I finish your clip.

Puff is the second tallest of the triplets, standing at an impressive 20” (50cm). She is extremely confident and has a flamboyant personality. There is a slight snobbish side to her, but she means well. She and her other two brothers are keepers at a realm terminal. She prefers to host tea parties rather than verifying your papers.
Looking for a heavy Welsh accent, preferably a higher pitch. Be sure to vary your tone, giving it a dynamic ‘singsong’ pitch to it. Kinda like that one aunt that is always so cheery and excited to see you.

Snuff is the tallest of the triplets, staggering at an incredible 2’ (61cm). He’s got that ‘ho-hum’ personality, very nonchalant and carefree. He, just like his siblings, verifies your papers for travel. But he's a bit of an airhead so his brother and sister assign him with different tasks.
Looking for a Manchester Accent for ole Snuff here. Honestly if you can make this character sound similar to Karl Pilkington, you got the part. Snuff has a similar demeanor and silliness like the comedian.
