A fairy from Kirakiland who came to Earth in search of the legendary saviors, the Idol Precures. She's carefree and goes at her own pace. She eventually transforms into Cure Zukyoon, and her idol fanservice is "Zukyoon".

A Papillon dog that ends up with the ability to both turn into a human and a Pretty Cure. She started off as a lost and confused soul in Animal Town, eventually finding a kindred soul in Iroha and her family. In fact, it was said devotion to Iroha that made her become Cure Wonderful.

A girl living in Animal Town, and Komugi's beloved owner-turned-sister. Her desire to understand and befriend animals is the most prevalent part of her, and the main reason she became Cure Friendy.

A white cat that ends up with the ability to both turn into a human and also a Pretty Cure. She has a strong love for Mayu and has swore up and down to protect her from harm's way. Her initial cold and brutal attitude towards Garugaru puts her at odds with Komugi and Iroha, though she later warms up to them and learns to see things their way.

A rather shy girl who has recently moved to Animal Town from a larger city. Initially, she has trouble making friends, though that changes after she eventually befriends Iroha. She is skilled at sewing and embroidery, and created the design for the Shiny Cats Pact at her mother's store Pretty Holic. She is Yuki's owner-turned-sister.

The mysterious mastermind behind the Garugaru's rampages and the destruction of Nico Garden, Gaou is the reborn spirit of what seems to be the wolf pack's leader. His true identity, however, is the ghost of Subaru: a young man who joined the wolves in life and now seeks to avenge their deaths at all of humanity's expense. But he managed to realize the errors of his ways, and returned to the afterlife... only for Lord Ark to steal him from the afterlife and brainwash him under his command. Can our heroes break the spell?

The main lead. A native of Sky Land who unexpectedly finds herself on Earth with Elle in tow after the invasion of the Underg Empire.

A mysterious boy from the Puni Bird tribe who properly debuts in Episode 8.

A relaxed, straightforward, and energetic 2nd year middle school student. Her family owns a diner, and she is an only child. She has outstanding physical drive and gets hungry quickly. Her catchphrases are "Delicious smile~!" and "I'm hungry~!". She loves fresh vegetables. Yui cherishes her grandmother's motto, "food is smiles". With Kome-Kome's power, she can transform into Cure Precious, representing onigiri.

A fashionable, cool beauty 2nd year middle school student who loves make-up and cute things. Her family owns a fine restaurant, and she is an only child. She's called the flower of Takamine. She loves to be alone, and doesn't speak much. Kokone's favourite breads are curry bread and heart-shaped bread. With Pam-Pam's power, she can transform into Cure Spicy, representing sandwiches.

The student council president at the Cures' school, She was brainwashed prior to the beginning of the series, becoming Gentlu of the Bundoru Gang. After she got unbrainwashed, she went into a brief coma before rejoining her family business. When her Childhood Friend, the Parfait Recipepe returns to her, only for it to be stolen by Narcistoru, she becomes the fourth Cure, Cure Finale. She represents dessert, namely parfaits.

A cute 2nd year middle school student who loves to talk. Her family owns a ramen shop. She has a little sister and a little brother. She is very curious about food, and when she gets excited, she can't stop talking. She secretly posts about rice on "CureSta" under the screenname Chururin. With Mem-Mem's power, she can transform into Cure Yum-Yum, representing ramen noodles.

The first general of the Bundoru Gang the Cures face, she turns out to have been brainwashed by Godatz in order to infiltrate Oishiina Town. Now she's brainwashed again, this time to serve under the command of Lord Ark.

A large hermit crab who is the Witch's chef and the first of her generals to attack Aozora City. His "lazy" characteristic is that he doesn't really feel like doing anything and wants to finish things as quickly as possible. However, he was turned into a Yaraneeda in the end, but now has been turned back into normal by Lord Ark's command. He now serves him.

A second-year middle school girl with a big imagination and a great love of space and constellations. She accidentally summons Fuwa when drawing in her notebook while stargazing one night. After meeting Lala and Prunce and vowing to protect Fuwa from the Notraiders, she becomes Cure Star.

An alien from the planet Samaan who comes to Earth with Prunce and Fuwa to seek out the legendary Pretty Cure, and later becomes Cure Milky. She tries her best to be serious and logical, but is still prone to making mistakes and has difficulty adjusting to Earth and its people's customs.

She is known to the public as the space idol, Mao. However she is in reality the elusive Phantom Thief, Blue Cat. Now she is hired by Lord Ark to hunt down our heroes. Will she find out the truth before it's too late?

A second year middle school student who loves sweets. She transforms into Cure Whip, who is based off of shortcakes and rabbits.

A well-known patissier prodigy from Paris. She decides to come to Japan to let the rest of the world try her sweets. She is actually a fairy like Pekorin who goes by the name Kirarin. She traveled overseas to learn more about making sweets. She transforms into Cure Parfait, who is based off of a Pegasus and parfaits.

The main antagonist of the series. Julio, Bibury, Diable, Grave, and Elisio all serve under him. Now, he serves Lord Ark for just desserts.

Our energetic main character. She was picked on as a kid for wanting to become a princess, but after a chance meeting with Prince Kanata, her dream to become a princess was reinforced. Years later, she attends Noble Academy, hopefully taking another step towards achieving her dream, when she encounters Puff and Aroma, who have fled from the Hope Kingdom seeking the Princess Pretty Cures. After a villain named Close makes a Zetsuborg out of her roommate's dream, Haruka decides to fight back and becomes Cure Flora in the process.

The princess of the Hope Kingdom. Originally, she opposed the Cures as the "Princess of Despair" and daughter of Dyspear, Twilight, but through the efforts of the Cures and Prince Kanata, she returns to normal, performs a Heel–Face Turn, and becomes Cure Scarlet.

A strict, short-tempered and headstrong member of Dys Dark's Three Musketeers and the first general to fight the Princess Pretty Cure. Even though he gave up working for her in the end, he's now under the command of Lord Ark. Will our heroes save him?

An upbeat and energetic girl, Megumi is an otherwise normal middle school student until she is hit with a Love Crystal thrown by Hime. Megumi quickly befriends the other girl and defends her from a Saiark, causing her to become Cure Lovely. She eagerly accepts her new role, and protects her city while helping Hime.

Hime is the Princess of the Blue Sky Kingdom, who escaped when it fell to the Phantom Empire. Although she can be childish, she is shy around new people and lacks confidence as a Pretty Cure. After meeting Megumi, she begins to grow out of this and starts making friends. She also becomes a better Pretty Cure.

One of Megumi's childhood friends, Yuko is a kind and compassionate girl who's always willing to give out candy. She works at her family's takeout meal shop, which means that food is a large part of her life. When fighting a Saiark, Megumi and Hime are helped by an unknown Pretty Cure, Cure Honey. Honey soon reveals herself as Yuko, who gained the power to become a Pretty Cure from one of Blue's Love Crystals. She then joins the others two Cures.

Cure Fortune is a powerful and solitary Pretty Cure that fights in Pikarigaoka City. She treats Cure Princess with nothing but contempt. Initially even Blue doesn't know who she is, but she reveals that she is the younger sister of Cure Tender, a Pretty Cure that was captured by Phantom. Having taken her sister's PreCards, she is fighting to rescue her sister. Iona is introduced as a high-achieving student who goes to Hime and Megumi's school. Iona is also an accomplished martial artist, as her grandfather runs a karate dojo. After several encounters with Happiness Charge Pretty Cure, Iona reveals that she is Cure Fortune, and asks Megumi and Yuko to work with her. However, she refuses to work with Hime as she blames Hime for her sister's imprisonment. After a series of events, Iona loses her transformation PreCards to Phantom. In order to make amends, Hime gives Iona enough PreCards to make a wish. Iona realizes that she wants the power to save everyone and wishes to become a Pretty Cure again. Afterward, she makes up with Hime and joins the group.

A powerful "Pretty Cure Hunter" who has been trained specifically to defeat the various Pretty Cure around the globe. He is utterly devoted to Queen Mirage and has a seething grudge against Blue. His Saiarks create crystals. Now he works with Lord Ark to take over the world.

The team leader and Student Council President of Oogai Middle School. She tends to act before she thinks, and is always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She defeats most of the Monsters of the Week by herself, thanks to the support of her teammates. Her best friend is Rikka, her other childhood friend is Alice, Mana is a fan of Makoto, and she befriends Regina during the series. Her dream is to be Prime Minister of Japan.

The former protector of the Trump Kingdom. Makoto masquerades as a popular idol/model with the stage name of "MakoPi" on Earth so she can look for the missing Princess Marie-Ange. Blaming herself for the fall of the Trump Kingdom, she has become cold and withdrawn. However after joining the team, she is finally brought out of her shell. She's the most offensive member of the quartet.

An sunglasses-wearing older man who acts as one of the primary agents of "Jikochuu". He is named after Belphegor, the demon who represents "sloth". He later possesses himself by original origin of the Selfish and the power of King Jikochuu, but was later defeated and goes back to sleep... until Lord Ark woke him up. Can our heroes put him back to sleep?

The main character and leader of the Smile Precure. Miyuki is an energetic and optimistic girl who loves fairy tale books. Despite being a bit of a klutz, she is rather strong-willed, believing that if she works hard then she too can get a "Happy Ending".

An intelligent and cool girl who acts as the class representative, and the vice-president of the Student Council. In typical Ojou fashion, she comes from a wealthy, traditionalist family. However, she also has a frightening temper if pushed.

A timid, clumsy girl who is quick to tears, yet also very loyal and diligent. She is a closet anime/gaming/tokusatsu nerd and dreams of becoming a manga artist but hides this out of fear of being teased.

The five Bad End Pretty Cures are Evil Knockoffs of the real five Smile Pretty Cures, created by Joker with a Cure Decor and the Bad Energy of Wolfrun, Akaoni and Majorina. The members are Bad End Happy, Bad End Sunny, Bad End Peace, Bad End March and Bad End Beauty. Even thought they were destroyed by the Cures, Lord Ark managed to recreate them using his own energy. Can our heroes send them back to the darkness?

Note: Same for Cure Happy, Cure Beauty, and Cure Peace, but a more mocking and monstrous tone.

An energetic jock who loves eating sweets and playing sports. She tends to be bullheaded and act before she thinks, but her heart is generally in the right place. As the series progresses, she rediscovers her love of the piano.

Note: This is post novel Hibiki, meaning she's now in Germany taking piano lessions.

An intelligent and cool-headed patissier who works at her family's pastery shop. She becomes incredibly flustered and dreamy when romance is involved, and is short-tempered when dealing with Hibiki, which can lead to arguments between the two.

Siren, post-Heel–Face Turn. Free from her jealousy and the influence of the Noise of Evil, her true personality shines through as a headstrong yet socially-awkward girl whose only wish is to make friends. Her ability to shapeshift has been lost, trapping her in human form under the alias of "Ellen Kurokawa". She loves to read books on how to act in certain situations, being unfamiliar with human social conventions.

Mephisto's second-in-command. A former Songstress of Major Land, she defected to Minor Land after Hummy was chosen over her to sing the Melody of Happiness. She is incredibly vain and prissy, and possesses the ability to shapeshift at will, often taking the form of a human girl called "Ellen". Though she's no longer Siren, however, Lord Ark kidnapped Ellen and reverted her back to Siren. Can our heroes stop this cat?

A bookish, shy and introverted nerd who loves flowers. Upon transferring to a new school, she vows to change herself and become more outgoing.

A brash and extroverted fashionista. Though energetic and sincere, she often fails to consider the feelings of others.

The androgynous Student Council President who acts masculine in order to continue the martial traditions of her family in place of her feeble older brother. Despite this, she adores cute things and wishes she could show her feminine side more freely.

The former Cure Moonlight, who was defeated and Brought Down to Normal by Dark Pretty Cure before the events of the series. Though quiet, mature and intellectual, she harbours a deep sadness within her heart, unable to forgive herself for her past failures. She eventually regains her resolve to fight and becomes Cure Moonlight once more. Oh, and did I forget to mention that Cure Moonlight's father is Professor Sabaku?

The masked leader of the Desert Apostles' invasion of Earth. He oversees operations from the Desert Palace, using his mastery of technology to create weapons such as Dark Pretty Cure and (later) the Dark Bracelets. He turns out to be Yuri's Disappeared Dad, who was brainwashed by Dune when he received the mask from Baron Salamander in France. However, Sabaku ended up sacrificing his life to save Yuri. Now, Lord Ark has resurrected him from the grave under one mission: to stop Cure Moonlight. Can Yuri stop him?

A senior Labyrinth agent sent to Earth to aid their efforts in capturing Infinity. Excessively cruel and sadistic, she uses Despair Energy to grow her powerful Sorewatase monsters. Her human alias is Nayuta Kita... which she rarely uses. Well, she was reduced to being a Sorewatase, that is... until she was resurrected by Lord Ark.

An airheaded girl who can't seem to concentrate on just one thing and doesn't have an idea about what she really wants to do with her life, although she believes in the importance of reaching out for her dream. She's a second-year student in L'Ecole des Cinq Lumières. She bumps into Coco in her school's library and after an encounter with Nightmare, she is chosen to become Cure Dream and decides that she's going to restore Coco's Palmier Kingdom and see through it to the end. Along the way, Nozomi also discovers her own dream that she one day achieves: to become a teacher.

A third-year student of L'Ecole des Cinq Lumières and usually volunteers to manage the library. Komachi is the daughter of the head of a famed sweets shop. She's calm and assuring, but is pretty scary when she snaps. She's also a novel writer, thus easily getting excited over unnatural things. This 'unnatural thing interest' led her to follow Nozomi, witness the Nightmare, and becomes Cure Mint. Aside of her being a Precure, Komachi also got her novel reviewed by Nuts, also developing a crush on him.

A rabbit-like mascot who is Coco and Natt's caretaker but has no ability to assume a human form. Initially unscrupulous around the Yes Pretty Cure 5 team, she slowly warms up to them. Later, she picks up a Blue Rose seed which granted her a human form and the power to become Milky Rose.

A third-year student of L'Ecole des Cinq Lumières and the Student Council President. At first she thinks the Pretty Cure thing is a farce, but was forced to believe it when the Nightmare invaded her house. But then she failed to become a Pretty Cure due to her 'do-things-herself' mindset. Despite so, Nozomi continued to bug her about becoming a Pretty Cure, and after realizing that she wants to protect her friends, Karen is able to become Cure Aqua. During the course of the series, she develops a rapport with Milk and discovers her dream to help those who are sick, and she starts learning on how to become a doctor.

Poor Bunbee... he's always gotten the short end of the stick... first he had to work under Nightmare, then it was Eternal, and then the Crisau Corporation... now he's working under Lord Ark to get his payment,,, can our heroes get him out of this sticky situation?

The Evil Knockoff version of the Cure Dream created by Shadow. Shadow created her by infusing the image of Cure Dream onto the Mirror Crystals. However, she ended up befriending Cure Dream... at the cost of her life. Now Lord Ark has resurrected her to destroy Cure Dream. Can Cure Dream save her again?

Cure Bright: One of the Pretty Cure duo who met Mai Mishou five years prior. Much later, she would meet Mai again when they are suddenly attacked by Dark Fall's forces. Resolving to protect two mascots who appeared to her and Mai five years ago, she gains the power to become Cure Bloom to save the Land of Fountains and protect the Fountain of the Sun. Later in the show, she gains the power to become Cure Bright through Moop's power.

Cure Windy: A girl who met Saki five years ago at the Sky Tree during a festival. She moved back to Saki's hometown later and reunited with Saki at the same place. Resolving to protect Choppy and Flappy who appeared to her alongside her friend, she gains the power to become Cure Egret and save the Land of Fountains and protect the Fountain of the Sun. Later in the show, she gains the power to become Cure Windy through Foop's power.

Cure Black: An energetic athlete who's popular with the girls (although she wishes the love letters she got in her locker were from cute boys instead), Nagisa is a tomboyish middle-class girl who would rather have fun than study. When she makes a wish on a meteor shower for a boyfriend who will love her, she instead meets Mepple and gets the power to become Cure Black. Though she's completely reluctant at first, her compassion for Mepple and Mipple as well as her desire to protect her friends convince her to save the world after all.

Cure White: Nagisa's complete opposite, Honoka is a star student rumoured to be a super-genius and gets one or two love letters a month from boys. She rejects every one of them, though, because she wants an honest relationship built on mutual respect. Besides the members of the chemistry club, Honoka doesn't have very many friends; she hasn't had anyone over at her house in years and just studies instead, and even her parents are always overseas. When she went into the garden shed at her mansion, she met Mipple and gained the power to become Cure White. She loves the idea of being a Magical Girl, finding it "exciting".

A mysterious girl who appears on Earth after the Queen is torn apart at the start of Max Heart. She is one of the Queen's three incarnations, a being made of her life energy. She becomes Shiny Luminous, a key ally to the Cures who joins them in their fight against the Dark Zone's Elite Four and their wicked plan to revive the Dark King. At the end of battle, although Hikari was sacrificed to restore the Queen (much to the chagrin of Cures Black and White), it turns out she became a separate entity from the Queen.

The very first villain to appear in the franchise, and the first and weakest member of the Dark Five. Resembling a kabuki actor, Pisard has the green Prism Stone contained in his necklace. A cunning foe with a variety of magical powers and an eagerness to prove his strength, Pisard's ego and cowardice make him unpopular among his teammates, which ultimately proves to be his undoing. Lord Ark resurrects him to start his invasion on Earth. But is destiny going to repeat?

The de facto leader of the Seeds of Darkness trio, and the last of the Seeds of Darkness to awaken. In his day-to-day life, Belzei's human identity is Genbu Yuuki, the elderly director of Wakabadai General Hospital. A thunderstorm appears over the hospital when Belzei officially awakens; he is struck by lightning and gains powers over electricity as a result. However, the trio was betrayed by the Dark King, turned into the Eidolon, and died. However, Lord Ark resurrects him to be one of his generals in his conquest. However, Belzei is secretly planning to betray his master, just like the Dark King.

The Protagonist of the series. Usagi is an ordinary junior high school student who discovers one day, thanks to the appearance of her Mentor Mascot Luna, that she is a warrior destined to protect Earth from the evils that threaten to destroy it. It is later revealed that she is the reincarnation of Princess Serenity from centuries past, and that she will one day become Neo-Queen Serenity and rule the world. Though initially frightened by this responsibility, Usagi grows over the course of the series from a spoiled crybaby unsure of herself and her abilities into a brave fighter for love and justice (though she never quite gives up her goofy ways).

Despite her tall, fierce appearance and terrifying reputation, Makoto is a friendly, nurturing girl who enjoys traditionally feminine pursuits like cooking in addition to fighting and working out. Often seen pining for her old senpai, who rejected her in the days before she transferred to Usagi and Ami's school. She's the physically strongest of the Sailor Team, and it shows.

THE Shy Blue-Haired Girl.

Ami, the first Sailor Guardian to join Sailor Moon in her fight, is a kind but insecure prodigy renowned for her genius intellect. Although she's timid and tends to obsess over her grades, she's a loyal friend and a worthy addition to the team. Her sharp mind and analytical abilities make her the strategist of Sailor Moon's inner soldiers.

A shrine maiden at Hikawa Shrine who possesses potent psychic abilities in addition to her powers as a Sailor Guardian. Her personality varies wildly from one adaptation to the next, but in all versions she's a dedicated fighter and one of Usagi's closest friends, despite the occasional animosity between the two.

Usagi and Mamoru's bratty Kid from the Future who travels to the 20th century to steal Usagi's Silver Crystal in order to save the 30th century. She takes after her mother in most ways and generally behaves like an odd sort of Annoying Younger Sibling to her, but underneath the constant bickering and whining, it's apparent that the two really do care about each other. After departing for the future at the end of the second season, she returns for the third and fourth, this time a few years older and on a peaceful mission to train as a Sailor Guardian.

The leader of the Shitennou, and naturally Beryl's most powerful underling. He plans to root out the Moon Princess and steal the Silver Crystal. Now under Lord Ark's command, he plans to do... yep. the same thing.

A rogue Sailor Guardian who founded the Shadow Galactica to acquire the Starseed of every Sailor Guardian in the galaxy for her master plan: to make a new universe under her own image. In truth, she was a legendary heroic Sailor Soldier who sealed Chaos inside herself long ago at the climax of the Sailor Wars, and is only trying to take over the galaxy now because Chaos is possessing her. Now, Lord Ark resurrected her under his own control. Can she be freed?

A bright and sociable aspiring photographer, Big Eater, self-proclaimed "maiden in love", and general all-around klutz, who soon finds herself the target of multiple demons interested a ring left behind by her Missing Mom. Luckily, she shortly after awakens using the Saint Miroir as the Love Angel Wedding Peach and, alongside her friends Yuri and Hinagiku, sets off to beat the demons to the legendary Saint Something Four and stop them from spreading hate around the world.

A large part of the story is about her complicated relationship with fellow schoolmate Yousuke Fuuma, as the two start slowly developing feelings for each other but are mired in a mutual stubborn refusal to admit it due to Momoko's nominal crush on Yanagiba and the two repeatedly getting on each other's nerves. As the story progresses, the two start to more genuinely approach the topic, while things related to Yousuke's background start to start posing a threat on their own...

One of Momoko's trio of friends, a fairly high-class Proper Lady, a well-rounded academic, and the most outwardly feminine of the three. This by no means makes her naive, however, and in fact she's capable of being the most manipulative and terrifying when angry - but, in most cases, she's a loyal friend and dedicated to her loved ones. In battle, she joins Peach as Angel Lily, and on top of fighting prowess with the Saint Lip Liner is the most empathic of the three.

She is eventually revealed to be the reincarnation of the Angel Lily of the past, who fought in the first war against the demons and had her soul sent down to Earth after her death. A good part of the latter part of the series builds up a relationship between herself and Mysterious Protector Limone, as it pertains to Yuri's past life; to what degree differs between the manga and the anime.

A rough-talking tomboy who specializes in martial arts and the least feminine of the three (although she has no distaste for it and still indulges in things like fashion every so often). The one quickest to get irritated, she can have an occasionally violent streak (which Jama-P is the most usual victim of). In battle she joins her friends as Angel Daisy and wields the Saint Pendule, which has minor time manipulation powers.

In the latter half of the series, she begins to develop a bond with Takuro Amano, a comparatively meek and timid childhood friend whom she'd taken care of, and who has to come to terms with his own weakness compared to her.

The fourth demon general to carry out Raine Devila's will. Posing as a student in school named Hiromi Kawanami, she quickly develops a crush on Yousuke, which puts her at odds with Momoko - and it's not helped by the fact she's significantly more pragmatic than all the others.

The first major enemy the Angels fight against, and a wind demon. He ends up accomplishing the most out of all of the demons under Rain Devila. Now he serves under Lord Ark's command. Can this wind demon be blown away?

The lost princess of Ephedia. She lived peacefully on Earth until Talia and Auriana came to town and helped her train to reclaim her throne. She's kind and docile but really tenacious when she needs to be. Her symbols are a four-pointed star and, of course, a heart.

A princess of Xeris. She and Auriana came to Earth in search of the lost princess of Ephedia. She is the team's leader and is work-oriented bordering on anti-fun. Her symbol is a four-pointed diamond.

A princess of Volta. She and Talia came to Earth in search of the lost princess of Ephedia. She is the most energetic of the princesses with a quirky personality blending tomboyish and feminine character traits. Her symbol is a crescent moon.

Princess of Borealis. She's the most ladylike of the princesses. She prefers spellwork to combat, as it's more graceful. Her symbol is a Fleur-de-lis.

Princess of Calix. She's the most rough-and-tumble of the princesses, and prefers combat to spells. Her symbol is a compass rose (or an eight-pointed star).

Lord Ark has mind controlled Iris, Talia, and Auriana under his command. Can our heroes save them?

Praxina: She and her brother, Mephisto, are Gramorr's underlings tasked with defeating the princesses. (They aren't very good at it.) She is more intelligent and ruthless than her brother, but less observant and more likely to become a victim of their own plans. Like Iris, she has two symbols- a sphere with three jagged magic bolts, and butterflies.

Mephisto: He and his sister, Praxina, are Gramorr's underlings tasked with defeating the princesses. (They aren't very good at it.) He's more bumbling and incompetent than his sister, but also a great deal more observant than she is and better with spellwork. His symbol is a serpent.

Now, Lord Ark has hired the two in defeating Lolirock. Will they succeed or will it be deja vu for them?

The evil ruler who usurped the Ephedian throne and sent Praxina and Mephisto after the princesses. Not much is known about him. Also, he rarely speaks

Now, Lord Ark is hiring him to take down not just the princesses, but ALL magical girls as his right hand man. Can he be stopped?

Bloom is the Fairy of the Dragon's Flame, from the planet of Domino, but was sent to Earth as a baby while her home was under attack, and was adopted by Mike and Vanessa. She begins the series as a new student attending the Alfea College for Fairies. After saving Stella from an ogre attack on Earth, Stella realized that Bloom had magical powers and took her to Alfea in the realm of Magix.

While she has nice adoptive parents on Earth, she soon discovers that she wasn't born there, and is the last remaining survivor of the planet Domino. It is that moment she makes it her mission to learn the truth behind her home and family and find her missing birth parents.

Flora is the Fairy of Nature. Her powers come from plants and nature in general. She hails from the planet Linphea. Flora is very kind, caring, gentle, sweet, peaceful, friendly, loving, and mature. She is able to keep her head on her shoulders in a crisis, and is not one to panic. She is known as the goody two-shoes of the group, a position she likes having.

Musa is the Fairy of Music, and hails from Melody. She puts up a tough front in front of others, but deep down, she tends to be the most sensitive of the Winx girls, and gets emotional the most easily. Part of that may be due to her sad family life. Musa's mother died, and her father is often away doing tours, not having much time for his daughter, leaving Musa feeling lonely.

And because of that, base her voice off of Romi Dames from the Nick dub.

Tecna is the Fairy of Technology, with powers that come from computers and technology in general. She comes from Zenith. Tecna is highly intelligent. Like any good nerd, Tecna thoroughly enjoys math and science. She spends a lot of time doing things on her computer. As intelligent as she is, though, she does not always understand non-technical things, like manual labor. Some of the simplest things, like brooms and buckets, are completely foreign to Tecna.

Tecna is not very good at expressing emotions. She looks for logic behind everything and is not good at understanding emotional-based decisions. She also does not outwardly show a lot of concern for her friends, though deep down, she truly cares for them all and would do anything to help.

Oh, and she's British, according to the 4kids dub.

Aisha (also known as Layla) is the Fairy of Waves, and the princess of Andros. She has the ability to rearrange a substance called Morphix (sometimes referred to as plasma) into all sorts of objects and weapons. Aisha is extremely opinionated and open-minded. She is rather distant towards romance and males. It's later discovered she was arranged to be married, which possibly contributes to her wariness of romance. She is quite athletic and is also a linguist. Her bold personality causes her take more independent actions, so she often doesn't ask for help. She has proven to be just as skilled as the Specialists when it comes to fighting.

A group of three witches who formerly attended Cloudtower school for witches. They are also sisters and descend from the Ancestral Witches, the most powerful and evil of all witches to have ever existed. They have served many evil forces such as the Shadow Phoenix, Valtor, Mandragona, Tritannus, Selina, Acheron, and Kalshara and Brafillius. Now, their new client is Lord Ark. Can they be stopped again?

A giant dark entity that resides inside a castle as its ruler. He's the leader behind his invasion to take over the universe, starting with our planet, Earth. Or so it seems...

The mysterious and aloof sole member of the Another Dimension Pretty Cure, Supreme joins our heroes, explaining to them that they are trying to stop their enemy, the mysterious Lord Ark. However, there is more to Preme than it seems...

Spoilers: Turns out they created Lord Ark as part of a plan under the pretence of "defeating" it so they can learn what it means to be a magical girl. However, they never learned anything. To them, it was all useless. And now, they are planning to destroy everything. Can our heroes stop their rampage? Will Preme finally understand what being a magical girl is all about?

A Sorashido resident who meets Sora and Elle not long after the duo fall to Earth.

Nozomi's best friend since childhood. She becomes Cure Rouge after witnessing Nozomi fighting as Cure Dream.

Though she joins the team last, Minako has been active as a Sailor Guardian for quite some time using the alias of "Sailor V". She served as the leader of the Four Guardian Soldiers during the Silver Millennium and currently continues in that role, second only to Sailor Moon. Her ditziness and wacky antics belie an incredibly strong and capable Heartbroken Badass.

Stella is the Fairy of the Shining Sun, and the princess of Solaria, a place she speaks highly of. She is considered a delinquent at Alfea for her antics, which is why she's a year older than her class. Because she's so self-conscious about her physical appearance, Stella may come off as being vain, but still cares deeply about her friends. Her powers come from the sun, moon, and stars.

Tsubasa is a bright, energetic, love-filled girl who wants to protect love. Her mother is a famous novelist who is turned into a Love Zero. She transforms into Lovepat Pink and uses animal-themed attacks.

An energetic 5th grade elementary school student who loves to make friends. She transforms into the "Heroine of the Sun, Kirapawa Sunny" and uses sunlight-themed attacks.
