Love at First Sight | Visual Novel Dubbing
Project Overview
Hello, this project will be a part dubbing of the visual novel "Love at First Sight" by Ray-K. The novel is a romantic story between a high school student and an unordinary girl named Sachi who only has one eye. Not like she's missing one eye, she's a cyclops girl! The two build a bond and he helps her be far more confident in herself as they build feelings for each other.
We'll be using Discord for this project, so please provide you Discord tag in your audition.
Please try and have a decent microphone with minimal background noise. If you can make headphones or your phone work, that's fine, but an actual microphone is preferred.

A one-eyed girl who's a bit of a coward. She's a little clumsy, so some of the wounds on her are due to her tripping. She has terrible reflexes. she's of average intelligence, but she spends a lot of time alone and used that time to study, so she has good grades.
As for her voice, looking for a soft and higher pitched voice.
"My name? Oh umm... Usui Sachi... N-nice to meet you." ( Oo-soo-ee ~ Sah-chee) [I'm looking for a voice that's comically shy. Extremely soft spoken and a higher pitch as well. She's never really been spoken to like a person before so its new to her.]
"Oh- I really don't care about, um... genre. If it's interesting... I'll read it." [She learned that the MC likes to read as well and he is offering her some manga to read. She's slightly more comfortable with talking.]
"Are you making fun of me senpai? - - - I'm just joking. J-Just er, a little payback." [she's very comfortable with our MC now, but he says something without thinking, and decided to play a small joke on him. Keeping the soft and high voice, try to sound a little playful in the second part of the line.
He might be tall and unsociable with a constantly sour expression and an overall scary appearance, but he's very courteous and an all-around nice guy. And sure, maybe he actively avoids people in general, but it's not like he's not up for having fun.
As for his voice. More towards the low side and a little uninterested sounding. But not monotone.
"I've known Akemi (Ah-Keh-Mee) for a long time and I can tell you, she doesn't have an off switch." [Him and Akemi are childhood friends and though he loves her, he knows how loud and energetic she can be.]
"Yeah, our high school has a lot of unusual students. There's a lot of rumors floating around concerning our school, it seems." [Tomo is very well informed. He's not surprised by this information, he's simply relaying it to others.]
"Getting close to a sad girl at school? If you're not doing this out of random kindness then what are you trying to achieve? Do you have a crush on her or something?" [Tomo is referring to our MC being close to Sachi, and he's curious as to why, but regardless he's supportive.]
A bright, optimistic, happy girl with a ton of spirit. She can be carefree at times, but when it comes to making sure people have happy lives and smiling faces she can get quite serious. Her need to yell everything is mostly for show. Her highest stat is her unwillingness to hide her true power.
"Oh, Ma-Kun, g'morning! You're here earlier than usual. How unlike you!" [Very friendly and kind hearted, but also loud and energetic.]
"Hey don't ignore me! Ignoring me is now forbidden, ok? I said it's forbidden!" [She's not angry per se, but very whiny and irritated.]
"Do I want to see the movie or do I want to finally meet Sa-Chan? (Sah-Chan) I guess either would be really good!" [Very excited and playful, she's supporting the MC taking Sachi on a date.]
