Project Overview
I absolutely love Lore Olympus and have always wanted to do my own dub of it!
Rules
1. Please have a clear microphone. I'm not asking for a professional, crystal clear microphone. Just please don't record in a noisy setting.
2. You can submit auditions by email too at muffinslove360 @gmail.com (there's no space, between 360 and @gmail, it just crashed when I put it together.
If you do submit by email, please put each character in a separate file and label your FILES LO_Character_Preferred Username Ex: LO_Persephone_Meg

King of the Underworld and love interest to Persephone. Despite his dark reputation, he's actually a big teddy bear. Just don't tick him off to the point where he has to rip your eye out (literally).
(to his brothers about PERSEPHONE) Honestly, I think she puts Aphrodite to shame.
(angry) She's not even a century old yet! She doesn't have the stamina for your stupid games!
(sad) Minthe, we've tried again so many times...Does being with me make you happy? Because from where I'm standing it doesn't seem that way...
Artemis is Persephone's roommate. She is competitive especially when it comes to her brother Apollo. Despite this, she loves her brother and even though she hates his sexist remarks and comments, she allows him to visit her 'No Men Allowed' house.
Persephone, you can't where THAT, you'll look like a relic.
(to Apollo) I can see your stupid face! Maybe you should cover up!
MEN ARE FORBIDDEN IN THIS HOUSE!
As stated in the myths, Zeus is very egotistical and sleeps around with several people who are NOT his wife. Although he does love his wife very much, he is needy and often doesn't think before speaking.
(annoyed) Basically, Demeter doesn't like the way I run things so she opted to do her duties in the Mortal Realm. Apparently I'm "morally corrupt" whatever that means.
Vegetarian, huh? It's kind of a waste of time, don't you think?
Oh my gods, NEVER get married. Hera is driving me up the mother flipping wall this week.
Son of Aphrodite and God of Love, Eros actually helps his mother get revenge on Persephone but later apologizes and becomes one of her best friends. He's really generous, kind and can sometimes be a bit stubborn.
(to Aphrodite) Look at this girl. She's like the personification of a friggin cinnamon roll! An adorable, pink, cinnamon roll...Why are you so jealous of a cinnamon roll?!
(excited about a jacket) OH MY GODS! IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Do you realize...That the buttons are diamonds!...Can I have it?
(comforting) Persephone, being a functional adult doesn't mean dealing with everything by yourself. It's ok to get help.
Zeus' wife and Queen of Olympus. She's a very kind and caring mother to her children and those around her, but she doesn't take BS from anybody.
(cheerful) I suppose I should still consider my sons as suitors as well. Persephone would make such a sweet little daughter-in-law.
(sad) Who did that to you...?
(angry/upset) I bet you don't even know who sent me these because you've sent them to different women! Some nymph is insulting me! Mocking me!
Hades' secretary and toxic girlfriend. She loves Hades but she's very dominant and never takes responsibility for any of her actions and blames them on Hades instead. She also clearly dislikes Persephone.
(to Hades) What I mean is I don't particularly feel like being seen in public with you today. I don't feel like being seen with you in general.
(angry, to Hades) AN AFTERNOON WITH MISS GOODIE TWO SHOES AND YOU'RE SUDDENLY AN EXPERT ON BEHAVIOR?! YOU'RE LUCKY I EVEN CONSIDER YOU! AFTERALL, WHO WOULD WANT TO BE WITH SOMEONE WHO RESEMBLES THE GREATEST TYRANT WE'VE EVER KNOW?!
(crying) Before we get into it, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did. I don't have an excuse.
***THIS CHARACTER IS INVOLVED WITH NON-CONSENSUAL ACTIONS*** The God of Music and twin brother to Artemis. Apollo is extremely narcissistic and always full of himself. He has feelings for Persephone but unfortunately takes things too far.
(cocky) Hey now, how come this guy gets all the compliments and attention?
(creepy) You've been flirting with me all day, Persephone. Don't act like you don't want this.
(angry) Hades put you up to this, right?! He's been telling you all sorts of shit about me. Fucking typical!
Goddess of Beauty. Aphrodite is completely obsessed with her looks and would do ANYTHING to be the prettiest being alive. She actually kick starts the action to this story by getting revenge on Hades when he says that Persephone puts her to shame.
(to Eros) Oh, stop fussing and hurry up. Serves her right for being so trusting.
(upset) The mortals are claiming there is a woman who is more beautiful than me.
(to Persephone) LETTING THAT NYMPH TAKE SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO OUR KIND!!!
God of the sea, and the most childish of the 3 King Brothers. He often never takes things seriously but will always be there for his brothers if they need him.
(pissed) Zeus, did you invite Odysseus!? (yes) Yeah, Odysseus! MOVE ALONG!
(pushing Hades' buttons) I'm in the market for a second wife. Do you know if Persephone is available?
Look, this pancake is in the shape of a kitty cat!
The messenger god. Hermes is very laid back and gives off a lot of surfer dude vibes. He doesn't really care what anyone says, he just does what he wants.
(laughing, to Apollo) She can't stand you. I've never seen her so worked up.
(fast and nervous) PERSEPHONE KNOW YOU HAVE WORK THIS AFTERNOON AND I ALSO HAVE WORK THIS AFTERNOON. AND I WAS THINKING WE COULD GO TOGETHER.
(serious) Hey Thanatos. A word to the wise. Don't fuck with things you shouldn't be fucking with. M'kay?
Hades' assistant and goddess of witchcraft, Hecate is helpful and thoughtful when it comes to her friends. She's always there for someone in need and is never afraid to get her hands dirty.
(sarcastic) So, did you enjoy the party? It was just ok? It seems to me like you had yourself a pretty good time...YOU BIG BLUE IDIOT!
(cunning/business) This being the case, Under clause 1-b of the Olympus/Underworld peace treaty, my client can punish you as he see fits.
(trying to help) Sometimes we want to apologize. But really, it's to make ourselves feel better. I want to help you, Minthe...But you make it so hard sometimes.
Zeus' mistress and Minthe's toxic friend. Thetis is mostly jealous of Minthe's relationship with Hades and does everything she can to get in the way of it.
(getting under Minthe's skin) Also, I just LOVE how secure you are now. Why I'd be green with Envy over that Persephone.
(cheering up Minthe) Come on, let's go out! We can go dancing and take lots of cute pictures!
(angry) From day one, all I've tried to do is help you. When we met, you were a huge nobody! A mud sucking low class river nymph! You'll regret this!
The God of Death and an often lazy worker. He often hooked up with Minthe while Hades and her were dating until she called in quits.
(snarky) Sorry princess, but I'm late for my meeting.
(concerned) Minthe? You haven't been answering your phone...I brought you some food. I'll just leave it out here, ok? Hopefully you're not dead in there.
(determined) It looks like I only have one option...To break into Artemis' house and dig for dirt on Persephone!
The leader of The Goddess' of Eternal Maidenhood, Hestia is a sacred virgin and urges others to do the same in her program. She takes her job very seriously and is extremely passionate in what she does.
(warning) It seems like the two of you were just together. Persephone, is this why you're late for the meeting?!
(excited) We might be able to convince him to make an ongoing donation! This could finally be our chance to get that community center built!
(business, to Persephone) He made it out to you and not TGOEM. I trust you to sort this out. Ok?
Persephone's mother and goddess of agriculture. Demeter is EXTREMELY protective of her daughter and takes a lot of pride in her.
(sweetly, to Persephone) Are you enjoying your bath, my perfect little angel child?
(arguing) Artemis, I respect you. However, you don't know the first thing about caring for a child.
(over protective) Persephone, I know this may seem cruel, but it's for the best. When you're in here...no one can hurt you.
God of War, Son of Zeus and Hera, and Father of Eros. Eros is a very hot-headed warrior who just returned from the mortal realm. He enjoys seeing the wrath of others and is determined to destroy anyone who does him any wrong.
(to Zeus, angry) YOU! YOU SLEPT WITH MY APHRODITE!
(mocking) It may or may not have something to do with you being the angriest Goddess in the whole pantheon. Besides my mother, that is, she's a close second.
(lying, over dramatic) I don't actually know how to read. I guess teaching me was too hard so everyone gave up on me. I suppose that's why I'm so moody and misunderstood.
Psyche comes from an abusive family and is married off to a rich man because of her looks. Luckily Eros rescues her, but she tries to kill him because her family tells her to. Because of this, Aphrodite turns her into a nymph and hides her from Eros in plain sight.
(to Eros) I love being here. It's like a dream, but I don't want to be a dream. I want to be real...
(to her sisters) He has a handsome and gentle face. When we talk, I feel like he's actually listening to me. He never hits me or scolds me. He says that he loves me...
(scared) Are-Are you going to kill me?!
Goddess of Wisdom and member of the Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood. Athena is often very quiet and content but when she's excited, she shows it!
(excited) UNCLE HADES! It's so good to see you! How are you?
(bashful) Oh! Right! Excuse me.
(sing-songy) I've got the projector!
Rhea, Daphne, the bartenders, the fates, the sisters. There's so many other parts in need of voicing! If you don't get picked for the part you auditioned for, I may offer you an extra part :)
(motherly) You slept for a long time! You must be tired from your powers developing.
(sly) Hey boss, it's been a while. Someone's knees need a-cracking? Need something stolen? Finally going to take my sister on a date?
Ah sister, it is natural for a King to be curious about his future queen.
Normally I don't hold auditions for sound editors but since this is a large, ongoing project I may need some help. Basically, if I do need help at some point, I won't be asking you to edit an entire video. I would divide it up into bits and we would work on it together, then you would send me the finished audio and I would put it together with mine. Simple! :)
