Fortnite Film : Looking for Llamas

Fortnite Film : Looking for Llamas

Project Overview

My brother and I are creating a film in Fortnite and were looking for voice actors for some of the roles! It will be a fun story with fun characters, really primarily made just for fun. While I've done a lot with filmmaking over the years, I have yet to do something inside of a game. I really like the idea of how Fortnite saves their replays, and all their different camera control options! Super neat to me, so I really wanted to do something to experiment with it. Plus, I love the game, and making this film has been so much fun so far. (We probably have about half of the footage?)

You MUST have Discord to be cast for a role!!!

There are several characters in this film, and it is likely that more characters will be added as we go, so be sure to check this page for updates!! We need male and female voice actors.

Deadline is currently set for NOVEMBER 15TH, as I would like to have this film done and released before the New Year!

Something to keep in mind is that if I like how you play the role (or even if you don't get cast for a particular role, but I like your voice), I have several projects in the works and will have several projects in the future that I will keep you in mind for, and can always reach out to you specifically! Projects like these are great for making connections.

  • Trailer!

Here's the first trailer! More to come! Thank you to everyone who's been a part of this project!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pi-2lT-uAY
  • Still Taking Auditions -- and ANOTHER Fortnite Film?

We also have a second Fortnite film, called "Crossing Paths", that is in the writing process while we wait for more auditions to roll in for this one. We have opened up rough auditions for it in advance, as we are having a hard time filling roles for this film, "Looking for Llamas"... specifically the female roles (we have some wonderful auditions but not a lot of people variety!) and we'd love to take more auditions for the main role of Jack Walker! If you have already auditioned for "Looking for Llamas", we'd still love to have you audition for this one too, and hopefully include everybody on these projects, because there are so many talented people auditioning, and they're going to be so much fun! Check out "Crossing Paths" here: https://www.castingcall.club/projects/fortnite-film-crossing-paths
  • Still Looking For Auditions!!

We have some INCREDIBLE auditions already, but I am going to keep things open until the film is closer to being done with editing! It is going to be very hard to choose... but keep the auditions coming!

Role assigned to: Nicksown

Jack Walker uses the "Battlehawk" skin. I would love for him to be Australian. Why? No idea, but when filming this that's how we pictured him, so it would be fun to see what we can do with that! He's likely middle-aged. He's smart, a hunter and a survivor, and he's very level-headed and always knows what to do in any given situation.

  • *walking into his friend's house* Hey man, it's been a while. You know, I've been thinking... it's llama season. We should go Looting.

  • *meeting a sketchy guy in a prison* I... don't know if I want to let you out, dude. You seem a little... untrustworthy.

  • *after killing the woman who lied about killing his best friend* I knew it was you. That's his gun you're holding. It's got his mark on it. I don't know why you thought you could lie to me.

Role assigned to: Raging Cop

Blakely uses the "Squad Leader" skin. He is Walker's best friend, and is much more of a goofball, but in the end, knows what he needs to do and get things done. His biggest weaknesses are food, and that he is easily fooled. He doesn't have any specific sort of accent. He is of course an adult, but younger than and not as rough around the edges as Walker.

  • *after opening a chest and getting the worst weapons ever* Hey, no worries. I know where we can go to find more weapons. Fancy a hike through the woods?

  • *meeting a sketchy weapons salesman in a shack* Uh... weapons, okay, sure. I could use some more weapons. How about.... *looks around at the stock until he decides on one* that one? How much is that?

  • *caught in the storm, and being held at gunpoint* How could you...? I thought... I thought we had something special. I thought we were in love. Walker will never fall for your tricks.

cast offsite

Miranda uses the "Trailblazer" skin. Miranda is not her real name, though we never learn what her name really is. She's somewhat of a spy / scam artist, who won't hesitate to get her hands dirty. She is a good liar and good pretender. I don't have a specific type of voice or accent for this one - so use your imagination!

  • *walking up with gun drawn* Hey! You back away from that chest! Who are you?! What are you doing here, who sent you?!

  • I love you.

  • *dying from being poisoned* How... did you know? That it... was me?...

The Mysterious Stranger is portrayed by the PS4 Blue Striker skin. He comes from the future, where llamas have taken over. He needs help from one of the best llama hunters to restore his timeline and home back to the way it was meant to be. I'm thinking he is a "cool" sounding dude, possibly with an accent (British?), a very clear-sounding but maybe deeper voice.

  • *rushed* Llama Hunter! I have come for you. I am from the future. There is hardly time to explain. Llamas have taken over. We need your help.

  • Our technology is advanced - but not against these llamas. We need someone who truly knows them. That someone is you.

  • It's the Llama King. He's after you. Come - we must get to his fortress, before - *gets sniped*

Sam uses the "Teknique" skin. She's kind of nonchalant and sarcastic. She can be found spraypainting random buildings throughout the film. I imagine her to have a North American accent and maybe a deeper more rugged female voice, like something you'd picture for a stereotypical tomboy's to be.

  • *spraypainting a wall, and not really paying attention to him* Llamas, huh? Hm. You might want to check with Candy? I think she knows about that stuff. She usually hangs out in the nightclub.

  • *after accidentally sending her friend into a trap* Oh, man... I'm so sorry. I guess I should have warned you, huh?

  • Come on, let's go. Not gonna find any llamas just standing here.

Candy Gumdrop

Candy Gumdrop uses the "Zoey" skin. She is very peppy, perky, and cute - but also evil. She may have a English accent? But I'm not picky. Her voice is higher pitched and either teen/young adult sounding.

  • *dancing in the nightclub* Llamas? Yeah! I can help you find some. What's in it for me?

  • *peeking over a hill, talking somewhat in a whisper* Do you see that tree, on the top of the hill? That's where we've got to go. There's a cabin up there. We'll be safe there. Come on, let's go!

  • *blows him and everything up* Oopsie! My bad. Well, looks like I get to take this all for myself. Buh-bye!

Role assigned to: Bang1324

The Llama King is portrayed by the Omega skin, with full armor equipped. Contrary to his appearance, he is a peaceful / calm / regal sounding character, and wants nothing but peace for Llamas everywhere. Unfortunately, because Walker has killed so many of his llamas, he is forced to fight him - though he has many large great weapons, he is not a strong fighter, and dies stupidly in battle.

  • At last, you have made it. I have been eagerly awaiting your arrival. I wish to speak with you. Come - we go inside.

  • I do not wish to fight you. But I do what I must.

  • *places a very obvious trap that's easy to avoid* A-ha! I'd like to see you get around THIS one!

Role assigned to: M. B. Harkins

Ash uses the "Triple Threat" skin. She is a chatty fast-talking tomboy teen that just happens to live in the area. I'm imagining her voice to be a little gravelly and deep, but still young sounding. She finds one of the main characters injured and nurses him to good health.

  • Oooh you're awake! What's your name? Where're you from? I'm Ash. I live here. I found you half dead in the middle of a field somewhere. I patched you up and stuff, though, you're good as new, so no need to worry! You were really beat up, though, I wonder what happened. What happened to you? Wait, sorry, have you told me your name?

  • Oooooooh, you're a Looter, huh? Lookin' for llamas? Well, I don't know anything about them. But I do know about basketball! Wanna play? I've got a court outside!

  • *after watching him launch pad off her roof* Well, alright then. Have a safe flight, Mysterious Stranger!

Sketchy Guy

Role assigned to: Raging Cop

The Sketchy Guy uses the "Havoc" skin. I imagine him to have a rough but higher pitched voice. For example, Spiderman's Green Goblin? He's supposed to be rather creepy and annoying.

  • *peeking out of a broken down shack* Hello there, traveller! Would you like to browse my wares? I have quite the selection of weapons available.... Yes, yes... let me know if you see anything you like.... *a few moments later* I feel robbed.

  • *nervous* Oh... no. That was my... my twin brother, yes. He also has a weapons shop in a shack somewhere over yonder.

  • *holding a guy at gunpoint, nervous but also angry* Drop it! Give me back my weapon! Just throw it on the ground! Now turn around! Get out of here! Leave my shop! Go!!

Prisoner

Role assigned to: Jdniscool

The Prisoner uses the "Rust Lord" skin. He is a pretty creepy guy, with a deeper more gravelly voice. He likely just has a North American accent. He is a very minor character only seen in one scene. He is trapped in a prison and tries to trick the main character into letting him out - only to pull a gun on him, but then die.

  • *behind bars* Llamas, you say? I know where to find them. If you could just let me out of this cell....

  • Not trustworthy? What do you mean? Can't you see the honesty in my eyes?

  • Got any explosives? I'm sure we could blow it open.
