Project Overview
What is Legacy of the Dragonborn?
The Legacy of the Dragonborn is a DLC sized expansion mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Within the mod, one can explore forgotten lore and uncover the lost relics of the 7 Dragonborn of the bygone eras of Tamriel. From those merely mentioned in title to those who wielded the power of the voice, many legendary and influential people held the title of “Dragonborn” and they all link to the lost covenant of Akatosh. Meet the curator Auryen Morellus at the museum in Solitude and he will help guide you in your quest to gather the many relics of Tamriel's history as well as provide a fully equipped player home and many many more quests as well. As you display relics you will unlock more history and lore as you encounter new challenges, meet new NPC's and embark to establish your own guild, " The Explorer's Society ". Aim to explore and discover lost places, artifacts and history, Build the guild house from the ground up as the guild master, then recruit new members, each with their own unique backstories and special guild functions. Explore ruins and excavate relic fragments to reassemble into artifacts to display in the museum. Set up a guild store with the quartermaster and much more.
We are looking to recast two roles for the released mod in order to provide better audio for the characters in an upcoming update. Regarding requirements for auditioning voice actors, We are currently looking for 18 years of age or older voice actresses and actors with at least an AT2020 XLR set up, a fair amount of voice acting or real life acting experience, a pop filter, and the ability to name files correctly and perform based on information from either a Spreadsheet or a Google Doc, and the ability to do basic audio processing.
We request that all VAs who are interested are also able to communicate and send/receive files through Discord servers and DMs. On Discord, you will be communicating with me (@ACTIONFIGHTER11#2791) via DMs or the Icecreamassassin’s VA Discord Server's public chat. If you are casted, you will receive your lines within a week through discord along with recording instructions, deadline, accent specifications, character bios, and line directions.
If you do request to communicate with us through Email or other communication software, please send a private message to my profile on Casting Call Club and explain your situation. I will work with you via CCC Private Messaging to find a solution.
For all characters, we expect lines to be sent back following the correct organization and formatting specified during DM conversation within a month of receiving the script. If recording your lines takes more than a month, please notify me as soon as possible via Discord DMs and we can work out a solution.
If you do not notify me of the possibility that a one month turnaround time is not enough when that is the case, I will be proceeding with the standard procedure by expecting line submissions within a month of receiving the script. If you are casted and have any complications, please notify me via Discord DMs as soon as possible.
Lead characters will have over 100 lines. (If you are casted or auditioning for a major character, make sure you have enough time set aside for recording.) Supporting characters will have between 100 lines and 20 lines. Minor characters will have between 20 lines and 10 lines. Extra characters will have less than 10 lines.
Please do not apply filters or noticeable effects to your audition unless the character specifically specifies to do so. The post-processing you need to do to your audition audio for the majority of characters posted will be a removal of room tone/static, mouse clicks, and audio/vowel volume peaking. Any voice actors that that fail to do so noticeably will not be reviewed for their performance and be required to resubmit.
You should record all 3 audition lines included for each character. For character listings that have less than 3 lines, you should record for every single audition line provided. For each audition line, record 2 takes. Be sure to follow the scene context and line instructions provided for the audition line. You should be recording through an audio recording software like Audacity or Adobe Audition. You should export and submit your audition as a .wav audio file with the settings of 44.1 kHz, 16 bits, and mono recording format. You do not need to limit yourself in the number of characters you audition for. In some cases, we go ahead and cast a voice actor for two or more roles if they're good enough.
If you get casted, but we lose contact with you for over a month without notice and with no ability to reach you, we will open your role again and cast someone else.
Once the deadline date is reached, we will no longer accept more auditions for the specified roles. Over the next few days or so, we will go over the submitted auditions and cast our characters.
CCC will automatically send you a message if you get casted. Additionally, we will send a private message to your CCC profile containing information on how to join icecreamassassin's discord server. If there are any complications preventing that, please respond to our private message as soon as possible and we will work out solutions with you.

Avram is a redguard in his 40’s who abandoned his home in Hammerfell after having been a member of a bandit group lead by his Brother Jelal. Their gang was broken up at one point and Avram almost killed. Rescued by a missionary, Avram swore to turn his life around and moved to Skyrim. After a few years of various jobs, he gets employed at the museum. Avram is an honor-driven and honest person, though he does keep his problems to himself unless they have to be brought up. He doesn’t like to burden others with things he thinks are personal and don’t involve his work. Voice wise, he should sound similar to Michael Dorn (Warf from Star Trek the next generation). Something very deep and strong. I would also like Avram to have a slight middle eastern accent to his speech, just a slight nuance that indicates he originally came from a foreign land.

For the first audition line, you are slightly bewildered that such an event could come to pass under your watch, but most importantly you are deeply ashamed as you were supposed to be this place's guardian and you failed your duty. You are willing to do anything to redeem yourself and hope that everyone forgives you for your mistake.
For the second audition line, you are absolutely alert and ready to act at a moment's notice. Nothing can sneak up on you now. You are preparing for an overwhelming victory and you want the Dragonborn to feel the same confidence as you do.
The museum has been robbed, and I'm afraid that I am at least partly to blame.
Good, they are still here, camped out for the night by the looks of it. If we move in quickly we can take them by surprise.

Generic Noble Male Imperial is a generic NPC that the player can encounter. You are part of one of the most successful and influential races on all of Tamriel. Your kind is skilled in the art of commerce and politics. Your kind has ruled over many lands in the past and you have been part of great empires lasting for hundreds of years. However, currently the Imperials are not doing as well as they did in the past due to subjugation by the Third Aldmeri Dominion, and you believe the Imperial Empire will never return to glory again if it continues to be led by cowards and opportunists. You believe that the Empire has lost its backbone and needs a strong and firm military-style leader like yourself and your fellow commanders in order to have a chance at defeating the Aldmeri Dominion. You believe the elves need to be shown what suffering and violence actually is. You are proud, loud, commanding, authoritative, serious, confident, and strong sounding. You have a North American generic accent.

For the first audition line, you are about to show a fool what it means to mess with a member of the Imperial Legion. Your attacks will be efficient, calculated, and brutal. By the time you're through with your opponent, there won't be anything left of him/her for a grave.
For the second audition line, you are happily greeting someone you consider a dear friend. You enjoy reminiscing about the glorious wars that the Empire waged in the past and complaining about the current spineless leadership of the Empire with this individual. You only feel respect and happiness when encountering this person.
For the third audition line, you see someone who appears to be a bit sick and suffering from an illness. While wanting to protect yourself from getting sick as well, you hope he/she gets proper treatment soon.

Kyre is in his early 30’s, a Nord and has a slight Scottish or Irish accent (NOT a typical Scandinavian or Slavic Skyrim Nord accent). Kyre Oldenson has been a miner his whole life. His father was a miner, his father’s father was a miner, his…. You get it. Kyre is dreadfully bored with being a miner and would love nothing more than a chance to ply his skills at looking for something more interesting, such as digging for relics instead of ore. He is an outgoing and true loyal friend who knows how to work hard and be a part of a team. He’s sure of his individual skills and is hungry for new knowledge, but is a bit unsure of himself when being counted on for something outside his sphere of skills. He is well-versed in geological matters.
Important Note: This casting is not only for the role in Legacy of the Dragonborn but for the extended role in the Odyssey of the Dragonborn series consisting of 8 additional addon mods. This role will require an ongoing commitment over the next couple years to provide new lines for the character as he evolves and gains experience. Initially, there will be about 120 lines for the character.

For the first audition line, you are quite disappointed with where you are in life currently, but at the same time have accepted it as reality and not going to change anytime soon. You can't muster a false aura of positivity but at least you aren't in a severe rage or depressed spiral. There still is a part of you that dreams of what could be and the resulting passion can appear in your speech slightly, but reality quickly shuts it up.
For the second audition line, you are quite excited and impressed with the discovery. This is the first time in a long time that you've seen something that interests you. It seems that life is starting to improve and you can't wait to see what's in store.
For the third audition line, you desperately want the guild master to know this information as soon as possible. You want to solve this problem quickly and are doing whatever it takes for that to happen. You are completely in the moment and focused.
What's wrong? Well, just not happy in my work I guess. I just wish I could spend my time digging for something other than ore, you know? Something more worthwhile and interesting.
Ah, that's quite a fantastic find I must say. Much better than the usual old rocks I'm used to prying out of the dirt, that's for sure.

The Shadow Hunter is a male, high elf character who is a special agent of the Thalmor. The Shadow Hunter is the current keeper of the Bow of Shadows and has been deployed to mop up the mess left behind by their Skyrim/Cyrodiil based mercenaries and hired Morag Tong agents who fumble their tasks once the player gets involved. They have arrived to retrieve the pieces of the Amulet of Kings from the player. This is the boss battle of Shattered Legacy started with a monologue and ending with the agent warping out but leaving behind the Bow of Shadows. This character will make a few recurring appearances during Odyssey of the Dragonborn, being a thorn in the player's side before eventually being defeated, so additional lines will be required down the road. '

For the audition line, you are trying to be as civilized and calm about this as possible. You also really lack the time and enthusiasm to fight the player. You truly are confident that you'll win this battle either way and that the player will present a challenge so minuscule it'll bore you to fight him/her.
You have been a might bit busy, haven't you? I have come to claim that which we have paid for to be uncovered. I expect you won’t give me any resistance, will you? Just place the amulet fragments on the floor and leave.

Latoria is a young-ish (mid-20's) Elsweyr native-born Khajiit who set out into the world to study magic and eventually found herself enrolling at the College of Winterhold, only to find herself quickly drop out due to a bit of a learning hindrance. Latoria tends to learn magic more intuitively than from the books and exercises that the college uses but fears striking out on her own to investigate the source of magic for her to divine their secrets from, so she wallows in despair until the player recruits her for the explorer's society. As the guild's resident mage, she aids in deciphering elements of a magical nature while trying to keep her head down during the action. Latoria is a bit of a fraidy cat, something her cohorts in the guild give her a good-natured ribbing over from time to time, but is also clever and resourceful at the same time. A bit slow to interpret a joke, but always good-natured and excited when she can do some good for the group.

For the first audition line, you are completely enveloped in your own sorrows. You just want to vent out your feelings. You feel absolutely useless and ashamed of yourself.
For the second audition line, you are angry at first over the blatant rudeness of the main character (you think he/she is joking about you taking a longer time than most to train at the College of Winterhold) but that soon dissolves into sadness and self-pity. You just want to be left alone to your own thoughts.
Latoria tries and she tries to learn magic in the way that the college teaches her, but Latoria must commune with the ancient sources of magic to understand them, but she is too afraid to venture into them alone, and so she wallows.
