Project Overview
Last Light is a Machinima movie set in a alternate Hyrule world where other members of the Super Smash Brothers cast take the place of Legend of Zelda Characters. The Story centres around an 18 year old Princess on the run with her protector/mentor Lucario. 18 years ago Hyrule and the former King Dedede were attack by the King of Theives and the Queen of Darkness. The Castle was overrun and the land's light was stripped away. The people have lived in constant fear ever since. Now 18 years later a determined Zelda will make a stand and fight back against the shadows.

Peach is the Queen of Darkness and Ganon's Wife together they form a powerhouse team of evil. It was thanks to her dark magic that so many of Dedede's knights turned over to Ganon's side while she's not able to keep them all under control at once they were convinced enough to stay under his rule on their own after a while. She is manipulative and heartless and cares for no one besides her dead husband. She needs a sadistic voice.
I wouldn't worry that pretty red head of yours now just step aside, we have buisness with your poor excuse of a king (sadistic and evil)

tortured is such a foul workd, we just altered his mind, took all the light and hope out and replaced it with hatred and despair, emotions far easier to manipulate
*minor character* A fat greedy slob who really had no choice but to join Ganon, he's usually charged with guard duty as he's not good at much else. He's pretty strong but his poor eating habits usually gets in the way of any actual training. I'd be fine with a typical Wario voice for this one

Ganon is the main Antagonist of this story and the current king of Hyrule, he rules with an iron fist and has scarred the population into submission, he's tough and brutal. He's been on the search for Zelda in order to obtain the final piece of the Triforce. He cares nothing for the people working for him and thinks they are all just tools to get what he wants. Any sort of evil voice will do have fun playing around with however you think the King of Thieves should sound

I will not underesitmate our enemies this time, despite their appearance they do still have the Triforce of Wisdom on their side, I'm not willing to take any chances when my victory is so close
Marth was one King Dedede's expert knights usually tasked with manning the gates and being Hyrule's first line of defence he was respected and for good reason as he was a natural born leader. However, faced with inbeatable odds even the stongest of men fall to the darkness after getting defeated by Ganon he pledged his allegiance and worked under Ganon as his head Knight. His voice should be confident and around the mid 20's tone

Mario is the older brother of Luigi and formaly one of the most acclaimed heroes the land had ever seen. While he did switch to Ganon's side ever since then he was not the same person, he had no drive no reason to keep fighting to his fullest anymore. He spend most of his days day dreaming about the past. But one day a spark was awakened in his heart and he found something to fight for. if you're auditioning for this role you need to be able to sound completely pissed at the world as well as filled with confidence and determination as this character makes a total personality change mid way through the movie. Again no typical Mario voice as he needs to sound serious if you'd like refference take a listen to how he sounds in Tigura21's "Smash King" on Youtube
we've been searching for 18 years and have barely encountered them, and everytime we do find them they manage to slip away
....right...."King" Ganon.......but is this really worth fighting amongst ourselves?
Now...lets see if I can still do this (serious)
Lucario was one of two members of the former King Dedede's king's guard. Sworn to protect him while the battle raged for Hyrule castle Lucario stayed near Dedede, that was until Dedede tasked Lucario with escaping with his daughter. While reluctant to leave Lucario did as he was ordered and left with Zelda. He spent the next 18 years protecting and tranining the young Princess until such time as she is ready to take back her Kingdom. Strict and over protective Lucario is like a father-figure to Zelda, he scolds her if she runs off, but also congratulates her on her accomplishments. Though he never openly says it he is very proud of the Women Zelda as grown up to be. Lucario should sound like he's in his early to mid 30's

Sonic is an outsider on a personal quest to travel all over the world helping people and defeating evil. One day he happens upon the land of Hyrule and finds himself in the middle of a war between the small might of light and the overwhelming forces of darkness. Care free and optimistic nothing really ever gets him down, just don't piss him by hurting people close to him. If you could give him a similar voice to how he sounds in Sonic Adventure that would be great, but I'm open to interpretation. In terms of age he is roughly the same age as Zelda so around the 18-21 ish age

Wolf is Meta Knight's partner in crime and the one who does most of the dirty work. He loves his work and seeing the faces of the people is tracking as they lose all hope brings him great joy;. He's not the brightest bulb on the tree and tends to think his stomach more than his brain but he is a very formidible threat in combat. Should sound lighthearted but still evil as he's basically the polar opposite to his partner
Hard to believe an entirre Kingdom is having trouble finding a girl and a furry

no matter, just more corpses to add to the pile
Luigi is the younger brother of Mario once a Hero in his own right he turned over to the side of Darkness. He is strong and determined to prove himself to Lord Ganon. One of the ones Peach was able to get complete control of he is fully devoted to serving Ganon. No steriotypical accent for Luigi this time, he needs to sound detached from the world, like he's pissed off at everyone all the time

heroes, yeah right, that's not how the world works anymore, ain't no such thing as heroes anymore pal, just those who serve Lord Ganon and those who oppose Lord Ganon
*minor Character* Roy was a young knight with a bright future ahead of him, that is until that fateful night where Hyrule was attacked by Ganon. He's roughly 17 and should sound very enthusiactic and full of life, he's quite skilled as he graduated top of his class

Zelda is one of the main protagonists of the Movie, while she is the Princess of Hyrule her birthright was stolen from her when the castle was attacked. She has spent the 18 years of her life on the run and training under the ever watchful eye of Lucario. She is unsure of her own powers and is rather trusting.....too trusting in fact. She doubts her own abilities when it comes to fixing the problems of the land but is very confident in her ability to fight. I don't really have anything special in mind for how her voice should down as long as you don't sound too young or too old, try to fit that 18-21 year old tone

*minor Character* she only appears once in the movie during a flash back, she is a 10 year old innocent little girl

Meta Knight is an exptert hunter hired by Ganon to track down Zelda and bring her to him. Mysterious and powerful he is a very intimidating opponent even though his physical size says otherwise. Almost everything about him is a mystery but he's confident in his abilities, though he usually allows his partner to do most of the dirty work. Should sound dark and mysterious like a typical Meta Knight voice.

*Minor Character* A kind and benevolate ruler King dedede ushered in a long age of peace in the land of Hyrule but peace does not last forever. He cares a great deal for everyone soldiers and civilians alike. Long time friends with Lucario he entrusted Lucario with the safety of his daughter as he stayed as the last line of defence against Ganon's onslaught. He should sound calm and down to earth. in terms of age he is around the late 30's early 40's
I need you to take my daughter to safety

*minor Character* Blood Falcon is another one of Ganon's Knights, he's addicted to combat and loves fighting strong fighters, a voice similar to how Chris Sabat sounds as Piccolo or Vegeta would be ideal but again have fun with it
and here I though I wouldn't see any action by staying at the castle, I'm actually glad you three made it this far, now I gte to have some fun
