Project Overview
Hi! I’m looking for some people to help me out with a fantasy adventure podcast I’m doing. Unlike my other podcasts (Persephone & Hades, Hanyu, Hawke, TGotF), this one is more comedic.

Former second in command Hanji Feathersinger suddenly has his hands full when he’s promoted to Captain of the guard.
Not only does he have to work as the knight of the realm, now he has the duty of keeping a two bickering princesses and a too-curious-for-his-own-good prince safe.
Luckily for him, he doesn’t have to do it alone. He’s got clumsy fellow knight Gus and tough huntress and ambassador Pippa at his side. Unfortunately, he also has a somewhat annoying newbie, Eli, to assist him too. And that’s before dealing with all the other knights, odd neighbouring nations and the other royals within the kingdoms borders.
Requirements to Audition:
- Be at least 15 because there’s going to be some swearing
- Have a decent way to record (I will accept using your phone!!)
- Have a discord so we can stay in contact.
Other than that, have fun! And feel free to audition for more than one role! it’s likely that if you audition for two roles that you’ll get a lead and a supporting/minor role.

Hanji is the new captain of the royal guard. He was Eden’s second in command before she left. He’s playful, loyal and brave. He’s close friends with the prince and the two begin a romantic relationship. He’s very carefree with his friends, but feels very awkward and nervous in his new position. He’s very protective of his friends and gets along well with most people. He has abandonment issues. He’s 19.
(Whispering to Gus) did she just say my name?
(Groans) Oh my god.... (laughs) I don’t know what I’d do without you, Pips.
(sigh, lovingly) Phillip, Buddy. We both know that Ophelia is never right. Especially about you. You’re wonderful. She‘s just jealous that people like you because she sends her own suitors running for the hills cause they’re all scared of her. Seriously. I’ve seen it happen. (Laughs) You are an incredible person, Phillip. I would know.
Gus is Hanji’s closest friend and the new second in command once Hanji becomes captain of the guard. He’s friendly and playful, but really clumsy. He always tries to do what’s right and encourages Hanji to take more risks. He’s secretly courting Sheik, a rouge. He grew up on a farm, and doesn’t have much of an education (he’s illiterate). He’s 19.
(Laughs) You’d think you’d be used to the early mornings by now!
(Sheepishly) Uh, Sheik sent me another letter. You mind reading it for me, Han?
(Gently) Have you talked to Phillip? About you two being, you know, together?
Pippa is a huntress and ambassador from Graelan. She often visits Lillimont Castle to see Gus and Hanji. She’s the voice of reason of the three. She‘s calm and humble. She’s one of the best huntresses in Graelan. She advocates for the wilds and helps Hanji with his new title. She’s 18.
(Laughs) oh, you boys! Good to see you two are still causing trouble!
(Gently) hey, are you okay?
(Growls) I’m watching you, your highness. Watch your tongue around your brother.
Eli is the newest recruit of the royal guard. He’s overeager and doesn’t think things through. He often makes mistakes and rushes into things. He puts on a very confident mask, but in reality, he’s lonely and wants to follow in his older brother’s footsteps. His brother died in battle and he’s always compared to him by his family. He’s 16.
(surprised) Wow. Who knew that Eden was such a nutcase?
(groans) Come on, how hard could it be? Just stab em. (slowly) Stab em.
(Quietly) I just.....I wanted to be worth something, you know?
Phillip is the Prince of Lillimond. He’s third in line for the throne. He’s the second youngest of the siblings. He isn’t very skilled with a sword, but is an incredible musician and tactician. He became a tactician in order to spend more time with Hanji. He’s Hanji’s love interest. He’s logical and gentle. He’s too curious for his own good and somewhat clumsy. He’s 19.
(Reassuring) Come on, you’ll do great! How many times have you saved my ass? Tons! You’re already doing great.
(Angrily) Ophelia, stop it!
(Sighs) You’re the only thing that makes sense to me right now, Hanji.
Elora is the youngest princess. She’s an brilliant young woman who is interested in alchemy. She’s very protective of her big brother and tends to get into arguments with Ophelia on his behalf. She’s very stubborn and hotheaded. She has trouble being a proper princess, and prefers researching in Graelan over learning how to be royalty. She’s 15.
(Groans) Stupid princess lessons.
(angrily) What did you just say?!
(Rolls her eyes, apologetically) I don’t hate you, Ji. I just....I don’t want Phillip to get hurt, you know?
Ophelia is the heir to the throne. She’s very vain and thinks very highly of herself. She’s cruel to Phillip and Elora. She was a giant daddy’s girl and was devastated after his death. She despises the boar king with a passion. Rumour has it that she’s experimenting with dark magic. She’s 22.
(tsks) You do realize that if you don’t stop playing your music so much, that no girl will want you, right?
(Annoyed) What do you see in that man, mother?
(Laughs) Surely, you jest!
Queen Alouette is the Queen of Lillimond. She is very kind but also very stubborn. She has run the kingdom ever since her husband, Ernest, passed on due to poison. She loves her children and wants the best for them. She’s 42.
(sighs) Girls, please stop this bickering. Mother has a headache.
(Firmly) sir Chad, I understand your intent, but my mind is made up. Sir Hanji is our new captain of the guard.
(Gently) Oh, William. I’m so sorry about what happened to Tamora.
Millicent is the eldest princess of Lillimond. Instead of being in line for the throne, she opted to become a mage. This was how she met her fiancé and now is technically uniting Lillimond and Eashedor. She is the most mature of the princesses. She is kind and humble and loves the world around her. She’s 24.
(Comforting) Oh, no no no no no. Ophelia doesn’t hate you, Phillip. She could stand to be nicer, but she doesn’t hate you.
(Giggles) I am beyond pleased to announce my engagement to Aurelius of Eashedor!
(Scolding) Ophelia! Be nice!
Aurelius is a stable boy from Eashedor. He’s very anxious and timid, and doesn’t Think very highly of himself. He is unsure of his new noble status due to his engagement with Millicent, but he’s getting the hang of it, albeit slowly. He’s gentle and quiet and loves Millicent more than anything. He’s 23.
(clears his throat) I-I-I suppose.
(Gently) Alright. I trust your judgement, Mills.
(Anxiously) In front of...how many people, exactly?
Sheik is a rouge who wanders throughout Lillimond and the Graelan Wilds. He’s known as a bit of a Robin Hood, and is welcomed by Tamora and William whenever he needs to stay. He and Gus are courting in secret. He seems stoic and quiet, but in reality he’s a huge nature dork who has a huge heart. He’s 19.
(triumphantly) Gotcha.
(Beaming) August! You’re here!
(Chuckles) You get this for one hour, you hear? Just one.
King William is also known as The Boar King. He rules the Graelan wilds. Though many in the kingdom of Lillimond views him as a tyrant, the truth of the matter is that he’s a loving king and husband. He’s kind and gentle. He has a soft spot for Pippa and has become good friends with the young ambassador. His wife recently passed away. He’s a tall muscular man, which makes him look quite intimidating. He’s 30.
(Softly, sadly) Thank you, your majesty. She was a good woman.
(Chuckles) Pippa, my dear! Good to see you! What owes us this pleasure?
(Angrily) I always knew there was something off about that girl. (Reassuring) Do not worry, young Hanji. The wilds are on your side.
Queen Tamora is The Boar Queen. She’s an esteemed Huntress from . She is noble and kind, believing in justice for all. She respects the queen of Lillimond greatly. She is very fond of Pippa and taught her in the ways of the huntress herself. She watches out for William and has a soft spot for him. She’s 32.
(Sighs) William, I know what I’m doing.
(Chuckles)Ah, Brave Pippa. It’s good to see you.
(Concerned) I thought that Eden was the captain. What happened?
Emmett is the older brother of Pippa and official guard of The Boar king. He puts up a tough front, but he’s really playful and friendly. He loves his sister and his land more than anything. He’s 25.
(Sternly) Who goes there?
(Overjoyed) Little cub! You’ve come to visit!
Chad is narcissistic, arrogant knight. He used to pick on Hanji often and is furious that he’s become the new captain of the guard. He often makes life much harder and more stressful for Hanji. He’s a buff 21 year old.
(laughs) What? You like you can do any better?
(Annoyed) Your highness, you can’t be serious.
Eden is the former captain of the guard. She left in the night suddenly, without another word. Many have speculated that Eden’s obsession with dark magic drove her insane. She‘s still stoic, but very quiet and domineering. She appears in later episodes as the main ‘antagonist’. She’s 24.
(Scoffs) You silly little thing. You think you have a choice.
(Growls) You have no idea what I’m capable of.
