Knights of Kor-Pilot
Project Overview
This project is the voice-over for a comic version of the story. The pilot will be used to pitch to higher studios to jumpstart it into something larger. It is a personal life goal and dream to get this project out, and I think that anyone trying out will enjoy the characters a lot. To elaborate further on my first idea, the project will be animated, but it will take a long time. I am doing the voices way before, and the animation might not even be fully complete; it could just be a ton of photos, but I plan to post it on YouTube, give full credit, and continue with the project until I finish the story.
The story is split into an intro, being episodes 1-2, and then 4 distinct parts. If anyone is interested in reading the script early, dm me my Discord handle, should be starwarsmemeboi. Send me a message if you're interested, and I would be happy to show you the script while I tweak it. As well as about the story and its lore.
Monetary gain is not the main goal of this project, but if it does well, I will split whatever I make from this specific voice-over with all the people who worked on it, and the split will be determined later, but I promise it will be fair. I want to see this come alive, and money is the last of my concerns.
Contextually, for what Knights of Kor is on a deeper level, I am working on a YouTube channel, and will be going deep into what it is, as well as ranting about the story. A brief context is that Knights of Kor is a fantasy world set on an original planet, in a medieval setting. It is a long, adventure-like project that I have worked on for five years.
-PS photos for characters are coming; I just need to draw them.
Thank you so much for spending your time reading this, and to whomever is reading and is interested, try out for as many parts as you can.

Igor is the main character of the story. He brings an ambitious attitude. Due to living alone with his brother since he was young, he has the feeling of someone who has been cast from society. Dynamics with his brother are him acting like he isn't enough, as he feels like his entire life is a waste of space. Igor is purposely "cringe" as he has not been properly shown social functions. Igor, in addition, is a little bit on the crazy side, talking to himself and using prideful statements as a shield from the real world constantly. At the time of the first episode, being a sequence of flashbacks, that lead into part one, Igor is 14 years old, and by the time of part one, he is 16. (In addition, ethnically, he is Latino, that doesn't require the ethnicity to voice him, but keep that in mind)

so Mr Apple we have two choices here one go the boring way or two we can go the fun way (in a high pitch voice) but Igor what could possibly be the fun way (shift) well if we go up here Mr Apple then we can repel down a waterfall ( voice agin) but Mr Igor what about not having a rope (shift) shut up what do you know Apple
(saying it like a mom breaking news before a lecture) Listen, I know I don’t get out to these parts, and even though I haven’t met a lady or had a full conversation, I must be a ladies' man, but listen, I don’t have time for this. (holds the word but and switched tone to his regular self) But if you really want to get to my house, you're going the wrong way, follow the diamonds on the trees, my brother put them there.
(fed up) Oh don’t humor me, the great owner of this fine establishment (he says this with quotation marks, then under his breath says) I mean, little shack
Nathan is Igor's older brother; he is seen as more stern and mature. He usually speaks slowly in conjoined sentences, and since he was a kid, he has had to raise his brother, Igor, as his dad disappeared shortly after his mother's death. Igor, in this regard, isn't as shocked because he was too young, but Nathan matured from this and acts like a father. (The most important thing about him is that he feels soft when he talks.)

(he looks at his brother in an amusing tone, letting out a little giggle at the end of his words) looks like someone finally got up, so you up for a long day chore boy
Nathan: Dad's cloak again ( he says with a serious and somber tone)
Nathan: Don’t talk like that
He is in a short nightmare scene, not a very important character, think old man rich backgrounds, went into church, nothing particularly special about him. Unlike most characters, this one allows you to be a lot freer with their actions because their behavior is not set in stone.
Priest: (his voice is very confused, along with his demeanor, making his statement like a question) Igor? (He takes a pause for a second) Igor, are you with us
Priest: So, Igor, do you take Maya Nightshade as your wife
Priest: Then you may kiss the bride
Hammerhead was raised in constant struggle, whether from money or from fighting. His actions stem from his anger as a kid, but in reality, he is a sweet person. He is not particularly huge, but compared ot a lot of characters, he is. In addition, he is bald, and has an incredibly low voice. (he also has an optional Bostan accent -but impress me.)
Pirate 1: (with a deep, giant-like voice and a Boston accent) What was that
Pirate 1: You know, kid, I can see through water
Pirate: Listen, kid, you look bad enough, just don’t scream, ok
Juxtaposing, Hammerhead, Eugine, came from wealth, but in his free time, a serial murderer who kills his victims with an item that has sentimental value, and then adds it to a shrine. (unimportant character, however, have fun with him.
Pirate 2: (with a more screechy voice, similar to a rat ) I don’t know, it was most likely a deer. If you find it such a big deal, go check it out; the village can’t be warned
Anastasia, in concept, is very difficult to explain, but in simple terms, she seems almost emotionless. Her backstory. I can't reveal it because it is important towards the end of Part 2, but she had a very rough childhood, and comes off as emotionless and hateful, but somehow, through that, feels nurturing. (A very monotone voice is important.) (The most important part of her voice is knocking out the emotionless vibe, while also not making her boring; it's a very difficult voice and hard to explain.)
Anastasia:(Annoyed, almost scorning him, but with care) just follow me
Anastasia: Get up, Igor. What way is back to your house
Solomon, in addition to Igor, is another one of the main roles of the story. Solomon's backstory is a little different. From the Capital, he moved to Parcos in the south at a young age. A nobleman there stole something and then blamed it on him. He has a very big connection to his brother and has been in prison for about 3 months. In this specific part, he feels drained, and at the same time, he is pushing to speak; however, don't overdo that, because the other prisoner, Paul, juxtaposes his pain by being much worse.
Solomon:(almost enlightened)I.. I don't know
Solomon: (with more gusto and emotion) But you are much more than an old man, how is it you are weaker than me? But still you stay silent. How is it you are weaker than me and still stay alive? What is it that pushes you? What Iron has carved your ever being to make you this strong? (His voice then lowers into a deep yearning question) How have you survived?
Solomon:(hopelessly questioning, getting up in a position, like a beggar almost) If you don't know, how will you ever know?
In my opinion, Paul is the strongest character in the pilot, and one of my top 3 personal favorites. It is very important to knock him out because about half the pilot is centered around him. Paul was once royal, and as a kid, he left it behind for greater things. At about 22, he was captured and put under the worst possible torture imaginable. He is seen as a very old man chained up in his first appearance, and is seen at various different ages in a flashback sequence. At his old age, he seems like a sick man who can barely even talk, and in some moments when his emotion is heightened, he has to yell over it. As a kid, he had unbelievable dreams, and is very outgoing, although it begins to fade the older he gets, as the cruelty of reality seeps and destroys his innocence. (Anyway, you can try for both the young and old parts; there will be 2 paragraphs, but you can also just try for one, it can be the same person doing both, or just 2 people, it is just up to who does it the best.)
Paul: (Paul stiffens and talks very strongly) Then why is it that you get up every morning? Why is it that you go through all of that struggle, to excuse the end of your life? (screaming through his sick-sounding voice) For what purpose, child? (softens) The world is not fair; that is absolute. But this pain and suffering, 56 years of it, 56 years is not just a story I created to kill myself in a measly hole. I have seen Smart men, Strong men, Stupid men, Weak men, Noble men, and Normal men. But in the end of the day, they all shared one thing in common, they died here like a pig in a pen. Is that what we are, pigs for the slaughter? I have made so many friends, comrades, and enemies. I watched them get old, kill themselves, or even get themselves killed. Yet you sit here talking about drinking piss and eating shit, and you want to kill yourself. (he explodes once more) You OAF, the piss and shit is the best of it, be grateful they don't starve you. (gruntily) You ask me why I live, because all of that pain, what was it for, for me to just be a little rat to test poisons? (the loudest he has been yet) NO, I REFUTE IT! (as he yells, he sounds like he is on the verge of tears) I am not like the rest of them, destined for the slaughter; I am not some inconsequential pawn. (Even louder) I refuse to accept death until I find a purpose. What is that purpose? I don't know. But if that purpose is looking for a purpose that would be ok, but I won't lose my strength until that day I find peace. (he lowers his tone a bit,) The pain, the death, my friends. They will not be in vain.
Paul: From a young age, I knew what the purpose of my life would be: I would travel the world and map it out. Today I turned 18, and have decided to leave home. My parents were disappointed, and my beloved little sister wanted to come. To leave the country is to disown the royal family, so I will start from scratch, but here is to the start of my adventure. Living here, I mapped out and wrote about the culture of Grivantas -cultural information in the back of the book-, now by foot I am off to Helm.
He is a war veteran with an alcohol problem, nothing much else to him; he has one line, but still, it is powerful.
Guard 1:(a yelling voice coming from the door in anger) If you don't shut the fuck up, we will make sure to carve both your tongues out, and if you continue to be loud, you will soon find yourself to be unics. Dare I continue to repeat my point, you don't want to know what I'll do. So I would shut your mouth and be grateful you get food.
Stantas is a very interesting character, as even though he is an adult, he seems a bit childish. His goal as a character, although it won't be stated in any form in the physical product, is like a mirror of Igor. Stantas, as a kid, was always second best; his brother was better at everything than him, except for his swordsmanship. He is not particularly weak, but he contextually feels so. He thinks arrogantly, but he tries not to be offensively so, because he respects opinions and is socially cognizant. (In addition, he was in a massacre and, along with Merry, is one of the only survivors.)
Stantas: Don’t underestim….. (he is interupted)
Stantas:(sarcastically) ahh, I understand, you want to become the greatest swordsman, to strip my title from me
Stantas: And you got to fight the strongest swordsman, so go
Merry, much like Stantas, really matches that almost sarcastic pride. Both she and he survived the massacre, so they have an understanding and an indescribable bond. Merry is serious, but not brazenly so.
Merry: I don't know if you can go back there, but to me, it is bad news.
Merry: Don’t humor me. (short pause and shift, concern is heard in her voice, and a bit of a shudder is added) I have (the word good is spoken as if it were bad) Good news, the king wants you to be the head of the trials this year, he said as soon as you were well to send you straight to the Gultch.
Merry: No, not at all (sarcastically), your greatness (in a baby voice). I just want to learn to use a sword
Gilante is part of a very interesting race, where he can change his body parts to become animal parts. Specifically, his legs are like a horse's, and he has a bear's head on his cloak lying on his right shoulder, with the arms of a bear; he has long braided hair. And is a proud man who stands tall. (Honestly, his voice isn't something I am particular about, be creative.)
Gilante: It seems as if your lost, may we HELP YOU GET OUT!
For deeper context on the character, I recommend reading the description for Gilante. But he has the legs of a snake, and the upper body of a gorilla, he also has the eyes, and tongue of a snake, causing him to hiss over his words. (yes, it is annoying. I'm sorry.)
Sceferous: ssssss curiousss, itsssss thats youssss isssss hereee.
Again, in this specific race, each member can change their body parts to animal ones, but Goliath is just normal; however, he is a whopping 11 feet tall, and has hair like a lion's mane, with the cloak to match it, with a lion's head on his shoulder. His voice is super deep, and it echoes like a roaring lion. He is extremely prideful and is the king of the people of the Woodlands.
Goliath: Don't play with our prey, it is impolite. We are going to kill you simply as that you should know better than to leave those safe little walls of yours, Pure Boy.
Goliath: You disappoint me, your confidence is gone, I guess you were never really strong. (Turning toward the other 2 men) You 2 deal with him.
Goliath: Curse you, fire starter, I swear one day I will find you, and when I d,o I will not be so sparing, take pride in every day, because soon it will be your last.
This part is very important, but take into context that the line you're reading is not going to be in the finished product; it is just to see if you can do the role. The actual narration part will be a shorter version of this. I just want to see dynamics.
Narrator: ( a man with a very deep voice, perfect for radio, with an unmistakably explosively descriptive tone): The knights of kor (3 second pause) long ago the first members of this institution where simply a traveling group of 13, until one day they fell into a mysterious hole where they were met with a huge cave and where granted by God a connection to the elements known as Kor, each knight blessed with their own type of element fire, ice, nature, shadow, light, strength, gravity, sound, mind, life, electricity, and wind. Each member was also given 2 earrings to match their element, and right after the 13th member mysteriously disappeared right after this, (Explode on but) but he did not die. In the cave lay a stone wall which had writing, now referred to as the prophecy. It states that in 5 thousand years that Cameron, the 13th member, would return to that exact underground cave, and that the following 100 years would follow the end of the world, unless of course, a direct descendant from the line of “Eli the first fist of fire” -One of the 13- would put a stop to it. (shift) Kor is Kor is a supernatural ability connected to one's heart, letting them create, control, and become an element which is in nature like one's genes, as it is passed down, meaning that if one parent has no Kor, a child could not have the ability, and further if 2 parents have different Kor’s the offspring could have both. Those without this remarkable ability are referred to as Knobs, a slur devaluing those who are born less fortunate. in addition to gaining Kor from a relative, you can also gain it from another person, those who steal abilities gain power but at the price of a bit of their humanity is seeped away, this is seen as barbaric and is highly immoral, so much in fact, even I not dare to speak it. Those who steal powers can also give those powers to their kids, almost as if they had the gene themselves. To use your Kor you must acquire a mark, a mark is a line that appears on your body when you awaken your Kor you can gain your first mark in two ways, and to continue to gain them, you can only use the second method, if you are to steal someone’s abilit,y you will gain your first mark, but no more. The natural way to gain a mark is to experience a near-death experience, or when you die, your Kor has the smallest chance to, in a sort of way, jumpstart your heart. A mark works just like a mitten would against food coming off the stove; the more marks, the more quality those hypothetical mittens gain. Take for example fire, with no marks you have no ability to use it, but once you get your first you can use your hand to heat things up, you have your full capability, meaning you can turn entirely into fire or throw fireballs, but if you did your skin would burn and you would most likely be reduced to a skeleton, unless of course you gain a mark from doing that, those who are directly descended from the original 13 Knights have extra promise in there ability, they have a special eye when using their ability that mirrors the earring and uses your Kor to see hear and use all other senses making you to touch in with the element and when compared to someone who normal call their firebal x your ability is x^10 meaning you are exponentially gifted compared to most. After the 5 thousand years, many people had spread Kor around the country of Maykriek. And therefore, about 75% of the population have awakened or not, the ability to use Kor. Joining the Knights of Kor is complicated but one of the only ways to the rich and glorified North, through the Trials of Itler Virtus you can join, about every year in average 500 thousand people attempt this, but only about 30 people really make it through all 4 trials, the lowest ever being the one the year prior to present time where only 3 people made it past the first of the four trials leading to the first ever short ending where they cut the following 3, creating the legends, the Strongest Swordsman, The One Mark Murderer, and the Queen of ice. The story starts 18 years before the prophecy’s 5 thousand year deadline, following the proceeding Trials, and the future Knights of Kor.
An artist who could help draw the characters and scenes would be greatly appreciated, and I would start working with them as soon as they are confirmed.
*Say something you think would fit*
If someone would animate this, I would be eternally grateful, and thats about it, just message me and I could work with you as soon as today.
