I just posted another project for this series, containing mostly minor roles.
Keeper of the Lost Cities Dubs
Project Overview
This is a project I started working on last summer, and although I took long breaks during the school year, I still plan to keep working on it. So just know that I'm casting in advance for some of these roles, I don't know when exactly I'll get around to each upload, but I plan to do comics for the first 7 chapters of the first book of the series Keeper of the Lost Cities, the first chapter of all the following books, and some other spontaneous videos/comics that I make about the series. So it is important that you be available for a while! I likely won't have anything to give you in the near future. At least nothing long, but I might need you for some quick dubs! However, if I really like your audition and you're not available for that long, I can give you the most important lines that I know I will be needing in the future to have you pre-record for me. It's more important to me that I have the recordings for the main storyline than short dubs.
This story is about a 12 y/o girl, Sophie Foster, who is living with humans who has had telepathic abilities since age 5, but one day someone finds her and he is also a telepath and he tells her that they're actually elves (think lotr). She joins the elven world, that's not as perfect as it first seems, and tries to find out why the was living with humans, and who these mystery elven rebel groups are that she is associated to.

Auditions
I just wanted to post an update so you guys are aware that I'm still here and searching. I have listened to all of the auditions so far, and there are some that I feel are good, but are missing something, so I haven't been confident in casting anyone yet. I would like to wait until I get more auditions to talk to those I am considering casting, so that if I hear another audition that I like better I don't get your hopes up. I'm picking based on whose voice I believe fits the character better, so if I don't end up choosing you, it's not necessarily because I don't think you did well. Although something I have noticed a couple of you doing is that your voice is sort of flat when speaking, or monotone, there's not as much infliction in the words as I would like there to be, but I think your voice is fairly fitting. Or your timing isn't quite right, but those are things that can be improved, and that is where my debating on if I should cast you or not comes in. That's all! Thank you all for auditioning, I really appreciate it. I'll probably keep extending the deadline for a little while until I'm satisfied enough, and then create a new project.

His age is around 12-14 throughout the series so far, but I'm okay if he doesn't sound that young. I mean, I cast an adult to play a 15-17 year old soo... Anyway, Dex is dorky, quirky, and cute. Him and Sophie (the main character) are best friends and have been through a lot together. He should be positive, curious, and a bit timid and bashful. But also super sweet!! He is the fandom's cinnamon roll. He's wary of danger, but willing to pull through for Sophie.
Here you go, Sophie. Try this elixir I made, nogginease. It contains Limbium, it will clear your head. (I noticed some mistakes I made and corrected them)
*laughs* Do humans really think there's a giant hairy ape-man running around trying to eat them?
*thunder cracks and Dex mumbles* I don't like this place

Brant is a... complicated character. He's the fiance of Sophie's deceased adoptive sister, Jolie, whom Sophie has never met. Before Sophie met Brant, he kidnapped her with other members of the Neverseen, a bad rebel group he's a part of. He is described as having a hollow, empty voice when interrogating her. When she meets him in the next book, he has a raspy voice to cover the fact that he was one of her kidnappers, and to play a broken, devastated, and damaged person after the loss of his fiance in a fire accident, and having been injured by the fire himself. What they don't know yet, is that Brant is a pyrokinetic, and the one who started the fire that killed Jolie and injured him. He joined the Neverseen because Pyrokinetics was a banned ability, and he had to hide the fact that he had this ability. However, because he was branded a talentless for not having an ability, him and Jolie were considered a "bad match," since Jolie did have an ability. Having to hide his ability, and be disregarded and discouraged for being in a bad match really messed him up I think, and thus he is bad.
P.S: Idk if that pic is supposed to be Brant or not, but there's not really a description on what he looks like other than being extremely scarred after the fire (so this would be before the fire), but this image came up when I searched for him, so I'm using it.

Oh, I didn't mean *here*. I meant why you exist at all. Why anyone would go through so much trouble to create such a unique little girl? And what are they hiding in that impenetrable little brain of yours? *venom seeping through his voice*
The easiest thing to do would be to kill you and your little friend and be rid of you both. But it's never easy, is it? Sure--it is with your friend. He'll be disposed of soon enough.

Grady is Sophie's adoptive father, the father of Jolie Ruewen, and husband of Edaline Ruewen. He's kind and sincere, but protective. Can be scary. But also an extremely caring sweetheart. His job is also to wrangle and rehabilitate different animals and creatures to prepare them to live in the sanctuary created by the intelligent creatures.
"Easy there, Sandor," Grady said, backing away from the glinting point of the black blade. "It's just me."

That's probably because I just spent twenty minutes crawling around a sasquatch den. *Sniffs his sleeve and coughs* Whew--Edaline is not going to be happy with me when I get home.
"No more separating," Grady ordered as they started to follow the stream higher up the mountain. "I'm not familiar with this part of the forest."

Sooo Sandor is a Goblin charged to protect Sophie. He has a squeaky rabbit/chipmunk esque voice that does not fit his physical appearance. Try that voice however you may... He is very protective of Sophie and takes his role very seriously. Dislikes separating from Sophie very much. Ironically it happens a lot.

The dog pack leader from Up. I was talking about Sandor with my friend, and he compared him to this dog, and I was like that is the *perfect* comparison. So if you can, I think Sandor would have more of that type of voice, except he's good.

Keefe is quite the character~~ he's a wisecracking prankster, a flirt, jokester, and smug (in a harmless way). He also has a huge crush on Sophie, and does dumb things because he thinks he has to. Under his jokester mask, he's really sincere, caring, and broken. He wants to make things right, and he feels like it's his job, and that doing it will make him a better person. Definitely a fan favorite character, especially in the Sophie shipping universe (I ship Sophitz tho~). Aged 14-16
