Project Overview
KaRu is a short, horror experience where you play as a Parasite. He wakes up next to a young boy he never met in a place they shouldn't be. Now they have to trust each other and find a way out.

Skekree is a 45-year-old woman at the time of the game. She is cold-hearted and almost cruel towards the protagonist. But when she is around her husband, she tries to play it off as a mother being stern to "raise a man, not a boy"
She has a child named Shuol, who is the only child who she cares about.
She has a relatively deeper voice, and a stern tone she hides behind. until she loses grip on her emotions and she becomes unhinged.
"Come back to us like the honorable Rek-ai you've become." this line is said as she is sitting next to her husband, to her son-in-law, she is calm yet her words come off as dry and emotionless.
Rek-ai: pronounced like "wreck-eye" without the w
"This is YOUR FAULT! You left him to die!" She says this while being absolutely enraged
Shuol is a six-year-old boy who is remembered for his sweetness and empathy that left a mark on the heart of the main character. He is kind-hearted and wants to put a smile on everyone's faces, so he does his best to stay strong for his big brother Karu.
Shu-ol's tone is high and almost squeakly, but when he is sad or serious, his tone gets quieter and softer.
*confused and sad to see his brother in a corner crying*
"Hey... Did mommy scream at you again?"*Hopeful and Happy*
"Please always smile big brother, you have a really pretty smile!"*Pushes Karu*
Gotcha! *laughing*
The main character when he was around 11.
Around that time he didn't like his half-brother nor his stepmother. He was not only grieving for his own mother but was forced to accept a new member in the family who was treated with much more care than him.
In most of his lines, he sounds sad, scared, rarely happy or excited.
*Scared from her snapping at him*
"Skekree... dad says you should come inside..."*dismissive of Shuol's attempt to make him open up about what's bothering him*
"Just go away Shuol."*Loosening up and running after Shuol in a tag game*
"Now I'm really gonna get you! *laughing*"
