Kanon (2002) ~English FanDub~ (Looking for Female Voice Actress)
Project Overview
This is a fandub for the anime "Kanon".
This is the 2002 anime adaptation (Made by Toei Animation) of the Visual Novel by Key. There is a 2006 version which is the more well-known one (Made by Kyoto Animation), and that one already has a dub. But the 2002 adaptation does not have a dub. Sources say that Funimation owns the license, but it is not on their streaming service, nor can you buy it anywhere. So I thought it would be right to give this version of the anime a little love!
Most of it is cast, but we are looking for a Female Voice Actress for the role of "Shiori Misaka"
(Those who are in the Fandub Central discord server that know that they are in this fandub, please do not audition!)
STORY:
It’s been 7 years since Yuuichi Aizawa visited his aunt Akiko, but now that his parents have gone to Africa to pursue their careers, he is finally back in the little northern town. Yuuichi is not really overjoyed with the prospect of living here though, because all of his memories of this place and the people living in it have mysteriously vanished. His cute cousin Nayuki seems like a stranger as well, even though he used to play with her all the time when they were younger.
On the day of moving into his new home, Yuuichi starts unpacking the boxes and stumbles upon a red headband that no one seems to recognize. This is one of the first clues that will make Yuuichi take a stroll through the snow-covered town and make him start recalling fragments of his past, broken promises, and buried secrets. Yuuichi soon realizes that there is something supernatural going on, and all of his new female acquaintances seem to have links to his forgotten past.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Be sure to have a decent microphone (Ex. Well known mics such as Audio Technica, Shure, Rode, Samson, or any XLR mic)
- Get lines in on time (I will be alright with 2 day late lines, but if I do not hear from you after you will be removed from the project)
- Please be nice to other cast members if cast, any harassment will not be tolerated!
- Be sure to have discord, as that's how we will be communicating!

She is a first-year high school student and the younger sister of Kaori Misaka who has suffered from an illness since birth, which has caused her to become very physically weak and she is almost always absent from school because of it. Shiori is a very polite, somewhat shy, and kind individual, but also loves drama and she is always inventing reasons for things that happen in her life, but the real-life drama of a sister who denies her and a life threatened by illness is encroaching on her.
Her voice should be medium to high, and soft-spoken.
(Playful yet calm) Yuuichi, you could get in trouble for skipping class.
(Starting cheerful, but gets serious) I've been... Lying to you... What I have is... more serious than a cold...
(Telling a story, serious) At that moment, I heard soft laughter. It was you, the person I had met earlier. That expression... That expression of happiness. I remembered the sounds of happiness... I felt so ashamed of myself at that moment... And laughed, I haven't laughed in such a long time... The tears I couldn't shed... When my sister told me I wouldn't get make it to my next birthday. I cried.
