Star Wars Rebels - Kanan: The Last Padawan (Deadlines later than stated!)
Project Overview
This is a dub for the first issue in the kanan series. More auditions will be posted after this.
You do not need a microphone, but if you are to record, you must have a quiet place, and a good quality mic in your computer.
You must try to get all lines in on time, and always perform to the best of your ability.
You may audition for as many people as you wish.
Audio filters are accepted, as long as you will have them always.
Only those who get the roles will get the full scripts
If it helps, look at the pages of the book while reading lines. The book is readable for free online.
IMPORTANT
Some people may pronounce some stuff wrong, which is cool, since the galaxy is a big place with many different dialects, but just to make sure the audience doesn't get confused.
Kaller - Kal-er
Kallerans - Kal-er-ahns
Gamut Key - Gam-moot Key

Sophisticated and diplomatic, but bitter nonetheless.
If you say so, General Kleeve.
And where will you and your staff billet, General Billaba?
As you wish, General.
(stern and irritated) Quiet, you.
(Improv from the show)
(Somewhat similar to the Clone Wars announcer. Very charismatic and strong.)
It is a dark time for the galaxy. It’s been years since the fall of the Republic, when Chancellor Palpatine gave ORDER 66, wiping out the peace-keeping JEDI ORDER and rising to the role of Emperor
Commander Grey, the time has come…
Execute order sixty-six.
Remember the basics, Caleb Dume… Assume a defensive pose. Form three.
Captain Styles, have your men take the left flank…. Commander Grey, the right...Time to end this.
Indeed, General Kleeve has surrendered this world to the Republic… it is over.
Yes General!
Listen, you ungrateful tuft-sucker--
(Teasing) Maybe ‘cuz the kid never stops asking questions! And here I thought it was just soldiering he doesn’t understand!
Isn’t that two words?
(Improv from the show)
A deep male voice, sometimes amused, but mostly serious.
What’s the word?
(Improv from the show, optional)
Hey, not every mission can be about rebels fighting the Empire.
(Curious) What’s the gig this time?
(improv from the show)
(A clear, silken voice, but a little rough around the edges. Calm and kind, but also commanding.
Roger that, Fulcrum. Ghost out.
The word, Kanan, is “Milk Run.”
We’re picking up supplies for the Tarkintown refugees on Lothal. Crates are already waiting for us... on the planet Kaller
Mildly sophisticated, a rough british accent almost. Commanding, harsh.
(Unamused) I can see that… but give no credit to the Clones. The Jedi’s leadership was more effective than anticipated.
(Suspicious) We were told she was unstable… obviously, that intelligence is now suspect.
I know you Kallerans did not appreciate our presence here… we’ll see if you prefer REPUBLIC tyranny.
Caleb may be voiced by the same person as kanan, if they can make their voice sound younger. Naive and curious, quite emotional with his responses.
The Clone Wars… three plus years of fighting between the Grand Army of the Republic… and the separatist droids.
Yes, Master.
But Master, HOW can you allow him to speak to you that way?!
Janus is a rogue. He is not an expert with formalities. He is sarcastic.
The point Gamut Key is trying to make is… we Kallerans don’t see much difference between one General and another.
General what’s-her-name?
You mean General what’s-HIS-name?
...Republic clones are routing our forces.
Your orders, sir?
Roger, roger.
(Helmet voice filter, shouted, in the heat of battle.) Welcome to Kaller! How you liking it so far?
(Intimidating) Maybe you’d like Kleeve back?
(Amused) Why am I not surprised?
