A fandub of the season 1 movie of Kamen Rider Amazons - Awakening. As of this moment only the season 1 recap movie is planned. I've been working on this project on/off for over a year now. While it has been an absolute joy seeing things come together on the SFX/OST side, it has also been very time consuming. That being said; I would hope you're available to reprise your role for the second recap movie (and possibly even the third; Kamen Rider Amazons Final Judgement) based on fan feedback as well as how the process goes on the recording side of things. I am very new to fandubbing, so I am very open to ideas/suggestions on how to handle things. I have no intention of dropping this project as I've put so much time and work into it, so stick with me and we'll see it through together. - About:
Haruka Mizusawa, a young man who has been sheltered his entire life attempts to come to grips with what he really is. What does it mean to be human? After awakening to the human-devouring Amazon Cells that reside within him; Haruka must make a choice. Will he fight for humanity? Or hunt them alongside his newfound Amazon kin? An exterminator squad that exists to combatant the dangerous breed of Amazons that have escaped from an experimental laboratory a few years prior encounters Haruka, but will they trust him? Jin Takayama, the man who is responsible for the creation of the Amazon Cells willingly chooses to become one himself so that he may hunt down his own creation one by one. The line is blurred on who is right and who is wrong, who should live and who should die is decided by the strength of the two Amazons. Let the hunt begin; Amazon! - Current progress:
- OST is about 90% complete
- SFX is about 60% complete
- VA is about 10% complete
- Script is 100% complete, modifications may be made throughout the completion of this project. - Requirements:
- No audio editing is required or expected from VA submissions. You want to send me a 40 minute long .wav file that contains your lines with gaps in-between lines? A-OK. VAs do a lot of work as it is, no need to have added stress for a project that is supposed to be fun.
- I do hope that all participants will be willing to use and communicate with Discord for arrangements/updates for this project.
- Willingness to do a double-take. Recorded all your lines? Rad. All of your recordings have a background sound that I can't phase out? Bad. Please understand that I'm not requesting a double-take out of spite or rudeness, but I do need everything to be as clear as possible. If there's white noise, I can fix that with editing, but if someone is constantly pounding nails with a hammer in the background... well, yeah.. not happening.
- I do require all audio recordings to be submitted in .wav (uncompressed) and uploaded to my personal Pcloud upload link which I will provide. This is for the sake of organization. Thank you for your understanding.
- Time and patience. I am new to this. If you feel like things could go better by changing something up; let me know! I'm open to change. I can however be quite picky on who I imagine who to sound like. So if you're not chosen for a role, it's because of that. Please don't take the choices I make personal. Thank you for your understanding. - Notes for Auditioning:
- CastingCall upvotes will not affect my decision on who is cast for what role.
- Please understand why I will not be providing feedback of any sort. This is so that all auditions will be fair.
- Please submit at LEAST 2 (more is ALWAYS welcome) different takes of the lines provided. This is to get a better of judge of your range/capabilities.
- Go nuts. You're given free-range on the way you deliver lines in auditioning. Want to try something different than what is described? Go for it. I have time to spare to listen to your many takes, I prefer it actually.
- Please ensure that you are in a quiet environment while recording your auditioning lines. Thank you!

That's a rather unpleasant way of putting it.
This is, the extermination team's newest member. A second Amazon.
Assistant to Reika Mizusawa. A very particular man who is responsible for dispatching orders to the Extermination Squad.
The humanoid forms you have seen are the experiments known as "Amazons".

Wife to Jin Takayama. A carefree tough-spirited woman who follows Jin's lifestyle of wild living.

Leader of the Extermination squad. A tough fearless leader who hunts Amazons; if it's vermin, it's gotta be exterminated.

Melee combatant of the Extermination squad. Wields a knife/leg greaves. Has a tough-girl demeanor and takes no crap from Kazuya. Is soft on Mamoru.
Battlecry (an AHHH! She oftens does this while rushing an enemy right before her infamous kick) / Misc. fighting sounds/grunts
Mamoru! Try to not rip your clothes again.

Joker of the Extermination squad. Wields a shotgun and is close friends with Mamoru.

Amazon who fights for hamburgers and his comrades on the Extermination squad. A young man whose childlike tendencies tend to get him babied by others.
