Hi! I'm Full of Enigma the director/writer/editor for JoJo's Bizarre Abridgement. If you can't already tell, this is an abridged series dedicated to Part 1: Phantom Blood. However, my initial goal was to cover every part in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series, but if this abridged series succeeds in entertaining all welcomed viewers, maybe I'll consider! My other goal for this series is to successfully mix in both story and comedy elements without losing its balance, and hopefully you guys can help me reach my goals!
Requirements
1. Must have Discord for general communication and for turning in lines!
2. Must not be sensitive towards jokes and insults made in the series!
3. Must have dedication and patience!
4. (Not a requirement, but it would help) Must have a quality microphone.
5. Must be familiarized with the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series.
FAQ
Q: Will you cover Parts 1-4?
A: I want to cover Parts 1-4 but that depends if the audience enjoys it. If the audience enjoys it, then I know that I'm not exactly wasting my time creating this project!
Q: What do I have to exactly private message you if I want to be part of the editing and/or scripting team?
A: Give me everything you've got. Tell me whether or not you've had experience working with any other projects or especially abridged series. Don't be afraid to tell me anything.
Q: Am I allowed to do multiple auditions for the same character?
A: If you're altering your voice or giving your character an accent then I highly encourage it! If you're just spamming the same audition audio then I will not tolerate it.
Q: What's the work flow like? What should I be expecting when participating in the project?
A: The voice-actors, of course, will have the easiest job in the series. We direct them to record them saying something until we're satisfied! It's then a 1-3 month process of editing and working on future episode scripts.
Q: Is there a Discord server?
A: Yes, but it's a work in progress so we'll have it open to the public later. There we will be posting updates, sneak peeks, and more!
Q: Why do you include a link to a character's personality?
A: It's not their personality in the abridged series but it's used as reference for some people who need a better grasp on the character they're auditioning
