Hello everyone! This is a casting call for a short story of an audiobook that will be posted on youtube. I am in need of both voice actors and one artist who would be willing to submit within the deadline of a week or two.
About the project:
Arya is a young girl who has just begun college. Unfortunately, he is still trying to get over the trauma of a fatal car crash that resulted in her Aunt dying. During this time she has subconsciously created herself an imaginary friend named Xena who at first helped her begin to get over her trauma and move past it but as Arya developed more friendships in college she begins to become defensive and try's to stop her as she slowly fades away.
Voice actors:
This project is written in the first person recount of Arya's experience throughout this tough time. It's about a 4-page long script with the lead having most of the speaking. This means that the lines will not be overly expressive as a normal voice-acted project.
Artist:
You will be responsible for creating the cover art for the audiobook and the thumbnail for the video on youtube. Please expect a tight deadline of two weeks
Payment:
Yes, this will be a paid project! All payment will be done through Paypal and that is it. If you do not have Paypal, do not expect to see the payment. Prices are found down below with the character descriptions and the audition panels.

• Must have discord as this is where most of the communication will occur.

If you do not hand in your part by the deadline, you will be replaced. No exceptions.
You will create the audiobooks cover artwork and the thumbnail for youtube. To audition, just submit some of your previous work. Keep in mind if you submit something of less quality compared to what you auditioned with I will ask you to repeat your work or find another artist.

Arya is a kind and caring young girl. She used to always try and put others before her and would always try and help them. After the incident, this changed. She became a shell of what she used to be. Always hiding away. Never wanting to see anyone, never wanting to be around anyone. She is soft-spoken and timid yet has to push through this and re-develop her courage.

2 months ago I suffered from an almost fatal car accident. My aunt died in that crash. I only just survived. Sometimes… I wish I didn’t.

This girl is special. I met her after the car accident. She helped me to soldier on and keep moving.
As time passed, I went to see a doctor. Without her knowing. I just want a normal life! I just want to have friends! I just want to be able to speak to other people…I just want friends other than Xena. But, when she found out…oh boy was she mad…she screamed and yelled like I just murdered someone! ‘Xena you aren’t listening to me! This was my decision! I wanted to go and see a doctor! I want a normal life!’
Xena is the imaginary friend. At the start, she was always there for Arya. Always there to keep her company and make her feel better after petty arguments. But as time goes by, she begins to show her true colours. She shows that she doesn’t want Arya to find new friends as this would result in her fading away. She shows that she can be quite manipulative and jealous of the fact Arya is recovering. But is she? Truth be told, this was her job. To teach Arya that it's difficult to move on from a poor situation such as that but its important too.
