Ironroth: Aftermath (Warcraft Audiodrama)
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
This is an Audiodrama part of a Warcraft Machinima series made in Unreal Engine I'm working on with a bunch of talented folks. The TLDR of the plot is an Alternate Timeline where Garrosh Hellscream is victorious in the Siege of Ogrimmar (Events of Episode 1).
As the story advances we decided it'd be interesting to explore other mediums to tell the tale of this AU, namely an Audiodrama (This one being a compilation of 4 Short stories).
As such this project mostly contains existing Lore Characters (which you can find further info on wikis). Be mindful some may be reoccuring while others having a single appearance, so please keep that in mind when auditioning (Regardless if they transfer over to the "Main Series" or remain audiodrama exclusive).

Frustrated: "Grahh... curse all this damnable waiting! I understand why all of the mages were called for this battle, but Varian could have at least kept one or two behind to communicate with us immediately to let us know what is going on."
Growing Shock: (Teasing at first)"Yes love, you're right. I suppose patience does yield results." (See's something is wrong, growing concerned) "Something isn't right though. Those ships look far more battered than they should be. Tess, hand me your spyglass, quickly."
Sadness, and feeling defeated: "But the truth is, it wasn't easy. Back when the Alliance of Lordaeron was first formed it was like a loose coalition. None of us knew what we were doing, or if we'd even survive the war. We lost a lot of good people in those early years."

Comforting, and understanding: "I know love. I know that waiting is the worst part of this all. I've done it plenty in my life when you've gone to hunt, or when you've had to leave for an extended period. But all we can do now is wait, and hope."
Chiding, Teasing: "Now see, old wolf. What did I say? Waiting and hoping always yields results. Maybe you should listen to me more often huh?"
More serious and knows she needs to perform her duties: "I see the castle up ahead. Look. There are plenty of guards on the move, and staff scurrying about." (Sighs) "They must have already received the news that the fleet came back. I'll wait for you after you and Lady Proudmoore give the news, my love. Please have hope."

Happy: "Don't worry Anduin. I wish I was out there too, taking the fight to Hellscream and doing my part. But I know our place is here for now. Plus, you've done plenty already. You went toe to toe with Garrosh after you destroyed the bell, and nearly died because of it. As far as I'm concerned, you're already a hero."
Hopeful: "I'm hopeful of the future, Father. I know things seem bad now, but I remember the stories you told me of the Second War, and how the heroes prevailed against the horde. How the darkness swept all the way to the very shores of Lordearon itself but we managed to push them back to the dark portal."
Saddened, as if a sudden realization hit her: "I know the reality of the second war father. I agree with Mother though, we'll prevail." (suddenly gets sadder after several seconds) (sighs) "I do wish Liam was here with us though. I feel like he'd know exactly what to do, or say, in this situation."

In a prison deep beneath the streets of Orgrimmar, the air was stifling hot, and uncomfortable. Black stone ringed in iron surrounded the lone prisoner, Thrall, who was left chained, humiliated, and wearing nothing but the clothes of a previous prisoner of war. The distant sounds of thunderous machines of war creak through the walls on occasion, reminding the once mighty Warchief of where he was.
It has been several days after the siege, and the air smells foul with the stench of death and failure. A red sun dips slowly in the distant horizon, casting long shadows along the crags of sharp rocks. Within these shadows, a lone orc - still adorned in dented armor smelling of the bitterness of battle - stands in a hidden bluff overlooking a small makeshift memorial. Nazgrim, General of the Horde, stands in silent vigil.
As the Greymanes left the harbor, accompanied by a small retinue of guards, they found themselves walking through the Cathedral District. Many people who had come to watch the ships return - some in the hopes of good news - now pass on what they had seen and the city itself, once so bright, now seemed darker as the realization flows through the populace.
