Okay, so, I would like to start by apologising in advanced for the long and wordy description.
Goal/Idea for this project:
This is not a normal project. I don't just intent to have the casted Idols just be their made up, idol selves for a song or project, then have them be uninvolved until they are later needed. I wish to form an Idol group where the people in it are able to build our own relationships with each other! We don't all have to be best friends or anything, but I would like for us to become actual friends, and not just acted friends in the project! We will help each other grow as Idols through this project. We will give advice and help on how to improve. This means this is intended to be a LONG TERM PROJECT. There is no end date in sight as of right now.
Through this project, I intend to give each of the Idols a chance to improve their skills and talents. We can give each other contructive critisism if needed, and give advice where applicable! I'm not saying we need to all know each detail of your personal llife, but being friends that can help each other, at the very least in the context of the project (with singing and voice acting), is the goal here!
Team Roles:
So, as mentioned in the title of this Casting Call, this is for the Idols only. There are other team roles that will be needed, so I will have a separate Casting Call for that. Even if you aren't sure if you can help with any of the stuff there, I ask that you please at least have a look! The people cast as Idols can still also help with the background team! As well, there will likely be videos in which we set up a story for the Idol group that will require aditional voice acting from people not in the group, so if any of the people here for voice acting would like, that is also something that is open in the background team Casting Call!
Small Notes:
This project is still in very early stages. Even after the Idols have been cast, it will likely take a LONG time before anything is done in terms of progress. If possible, I would like to debut sometime in 2023, however it may not be possible. We will see when we get there. I am hoping to gather my Idol team early enough so that we can build a positive enough relationship before we sing together!
Also, this is a non-profit project as of right now because I don't have any money, and since it's just starting, the group won't make any money yet. If we get to the point where we can start making money, then it will become a paid project!
The rules and requirements for the Idol auditions will be somewhat different to the background team's! If you plan to have a look at becoming part of the background team, please don't be scared away by the requirements on this Casting Call! Be sure to read the ones in the background team Casting Call!
The lines in the auditions may not be used for anything. I just came up with them on the spot!
I am also one of the Idols in this group, giving us a total of 6!
It's alright if you're shy or have trouble talking to people! I am the same way! We will try to meet up enough before actually starting our work, so hopefully we can all become comfortable with eachother!
Rules and Requirements!:
~ Please be between 16-21 years old. I have nothing against people outside of that age range, but I am more comfortable talking to and being friends with people closer to my age. Because of the nature of this project, the roles for Idols will be limited to this age range! Also, if you are turning 16 this year (2022), that is fine. If you are 21, but are about to turn 22, that is fine as well! This isn't a very strict rule, but it would be appreciated if you are within this range! (I'm very, VERY sorry to the people who are outside of this age range!)
~ Please have decent enough microphone quality, or be planning to have decent micorphone quality very soon! I plan to make actual songs and such, and I want them to be the best quality they can be! Since we're just starting, it's not the end of the world if the quality isn't the greatest, but it would be nice if it was at least decent enough! I don't care if you use a phone mic, an expensive mic, etc... as long as it sounds alright! If you plan to get a better mic, please let me know in your audition!
~ Please have Discord! Although with other types of projects it is possible to work around someone not having Discord, the nature of this project doesn't much allow for it. If you don't have Discord but you want to help with this project, please consider joining the background team! Discord is not required for that!
~ You must be nice to everyone! If you are cast but I see you disrespecting someone or being mean, you will lose your role. I can recast the role if needed. We are meant to have a good relationship with each other, and that will not be achieved through bullying or discrimination. This rule includes respecting everyone in the team, meaning other Idols and the background team.
~ Please be dedicated! As stated before, this will be a long term project! If something happens in your life that requires you to take a break (a long break or a short break) that is okay! We will find a way to work around that! If you need to leave the project, please just let me know. It is okay. I understand that life happens, and you come first.
~ If anything happens, let me know. Communication is key. I am not a strict person, and I understand that everybody has different circumstances! All I ask is that you communicate with me if there's anything!
Other rules may be added later. I will let you know if they are! (Because I may be forgetting something)
Audition Requirements and Notes:
~ You may audition for any character however many times you would like, but only three will be considered, unless you ask me to consider more. I am likely to agree to consider more, but only if you ask me first! Please note that only one audition is required, so you don't need to audition multiple times. This rule is only here for people who think of something different they would like to do with their audition.
~ There will be an "Introduction" section. An introduction is REQUIRED, however if does not need to be in this section! I only need one introduction per person, so if you plan to audition for multiple people, or if you forgot to add an introduction, you may feel free to upload it to that section! If you add the introduction to your audition, please add it AT THE END. This way, when I am making my decision, it's easier to listen to the actual audition, since that's what will actually determine who gets the part! In this introduction, please don't try to be like the character you are auditioning for. If you are naturally like them, that is fine. If you aren't naturally like them, that is also fine. You don't need to act for your introduction. I just want to know a bit about you because of the nature of this project! No need to worry too much about this part! :)
~ Please do at least 2 takes of every line. You may do more as well as long as you have the minimum. This is just so that I can hear a bit more of your voice acting skills. As for songs, each role will have a different requirement, so be sure to read the description!
~ Please tell me your Discord name and tag in your audition! If you forget, I will remind you in the comments of your audition! If you are not comfortable saying it publicly, private message me! I will communicate with you through Discord if you have been casted!
~ I don't plan to cast until the deadline, so please don't start to worry if it's been a few weeks and you haven't heard from me yet! I may move the deadline (I might make it shorter if I feel I can, or I might extend it if I think I should or need to!). If I extend the deadline to get more auditions, again, please don't start to worry that you aren't getting the role! I just want to try to hear as many auditions as I can! If I move the deadline, I will post an update on the Casting Call to let everyone know!
~ Each person can only be cast for ONE role! However, you may audition for as many roles as you'd like! I recommend you consider auditioning for multiple if you want to be in this project, Although it doesn't guarantee you a spot, you have more chances!
~ If you are not cast, I'm sorry! Me not choosing to cast you doesn't mean your audition wasn't good! All of you are amazing, and I'm sure you will all grow and continue to be amazing! I am casting people based on how much they match my idea for the character, so (although talent is obviously part of it), there is more to consider when I am casting for this!
~ Please make sure to sing AT THE BEGINNING of your audition! If you decide to sing multiple songs and want to put some in the middle or a the end (before the introduction if it's in that audition), that is fine. At least one song must be at the beginning, since singing is the main thing I will be considering for the audition (although the voice acting is still fairly important!). Although I plan to listen to each full audition at least once while I'm going through to cast them, when I am going back and forth, it's easier to hear some of the singing if it's at the beginning!
~ Please carefully read each roles requirements! I invite you to do your own thing with their voice, even if it's different than what their voice description is, as long as it fits the character! I may reconsider the imagined voice to match what you did as long as I think it fits the character! Every role will have different requirements, especially with the singing portion! For the best chance of getting a role, be sure to read the requirements carefully!
~ If you would like feedback on your audition, please let me know! You are allowed to receive feedback then reaudition if you'd like! Although I will be reading every audition's description, if you would like feedback, please message me or let me know in the comments of your audition!
~ If you would prefer audition through Discord, I am fine with that! Feel free to add me and send in your audition!

I just would like to remind everyone to please join the temporary DIscord server! I will be posting an update about casting there in a couple days, and it would be best if none of you missed it! She is like the caring older sister of the group, despite being the same age as everyone. She is very nice, but she can become quite passive agressive when people are being disrespectful. If someone she cares about does something bad but doesn't realize, she will point it out to them privately. She encourages everyone to do their best!
She has a medium voice.
Her singing is fairly strong and clear. She will often sing in a middle range, but she may need to sing a bit higher or lower (not super high or super low).

Rei, I think you went a little far back there. It was an accident. I realize you're upset, and I understand why, but please don't make her feel so terrible. It wasn't entirely her fault. {She should sound caring and calm}
Rei is a bit hot-tempered at times. She is athletic and sporty. She is very nice and friendly, but she can completely change when someone is being disrespectful. She is extremely competitive. She is also a bit of a perfectionist, but she realizes that things aren't often ever perfect so she isn't crazy about things being perfect. She understands that people make mistakes, and she understands that some people require a little more work in order to achieve a certain level. She is very encouraging of people trying to reach their goals.
I imagine her voice as having quite a lot of energy, but also being kind of chill. Almost like the typical sporty girl type in anime, but it doesn't have to match that exactly. She's more of a hip-hop and rap type singer, but she can also sing pop songs. (Her solos in songs are likely to be hip-hop or rap type sections, but they might just be pop or something as well).
{Please note! If you are not typically good with 'normal' singing, but you're comfortable with rap and such, that is okay. As the project progresses, you will have a chance to improve the different areas of your singing voice! The flip-side is also alright (comfortable singing pop but not rap)! We will be practicing a lot anyway!}

Hehe. Did you have trouble finding me? I often tend to the school's garden in my spare time. {Someone had been looking for her and found where she was. They comment like 'there you are'. This is her response. The beginning is a bit of an elegant giggle, and the last sentence is her explaining.}
Haru is like a bright ray of sunshine. She is very energetic and friendly. She cheers for everyone, and encourages them to step out of their comfort zone! She is very, very energetic! She is definitely a free spirit type person. She can also be quite athletic, and she loves to dance. She believes that people can be good.
I imagine her voice to be high and full of energy. Her singing should also be full of energy (unless the situation calls for it to be otherwise). She may sometimes be part of rap type parts in songs, so singing a part like that in your audition may be helpful, although not required!
