Ardata Carmia

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Shihuchi

A high-ranking cerulean-blooded troll, Ardata maintains a significant following on social media by playing up her sinister personality, torturing captives in her basement on camera, and utilizing them as slaves with the aid of her mind control abilities.

Ardata exhibits a socially conditioned sense of self-importance and disregard for others that is typical of those born into her caste. The expectation of sinisterness and viciousness that she attempts to embody in her persona lends her a dramatic maniacal air in her speech and actions, and her callousness is displayed in the lowblood captives she torments in her dungeon for the pleasure of her viewers.

Below this, however, Ardata shows signs of self-doubt and insecurity even through her self-importance, as she worries whether or not she can live up to the expectations that others project onto her. It seems that at least part of her outward-facing personality is a persona for her viewers, although she demonstrably does have little regard for others and for the concerns of people outside of herself. Her initial interactions with the MSPA Reader seem to show that she has little interest in them other than how she can use and exploit them.

Physically, Ardata is a cerulean-blooded female troll with long, straight black hair. She possess three eyes, two in the usual positions, with the third being positioned beneath one of the others. Her horns are S-shaped, with three sharp notches in them halfway up. She is typically portrayed wearing a cape. Her sign cannot be seen on any of the images of her revealed so far, and as such is as yet unknown.

Ardata possess psychic abilities of a similar variety to those possessed by fellow cerulean-bloods Vriska and Aranea, She has shown the capability to both read minds and control people's actions, with her abilities affecting both other trolls and the MSPA Reader with seemingly equal ease.

I'd imagine her having a thick french accent.

  • [Audibly disgusted in the first sentence] Dear god. And just what are you supposed to be?

  • You... YOU want to be MY friend? *giggle* It's too much. This... This THING at my doorstep, wishing to know me in any capacity. The hilarity somehow escapes my ability to capture with maniacal laughter. How rare.

  • I'll decide later if it's endearing, once I have more information. It's entirely possible I will retroactively decide it's disgusting. But for now, try to put yourself at ease, you completely pitiful fool. Not one more sniffle. Do you understand?

Diemen Xicali

Role assigned to: ContagiousFanatic

A low-ranking burgundy blood, Diemen's hive was destroyed by drones in a routine neighbourhood culling prior to the events of Hiveswap Friendsim, and event that also killed his Lusus. Diemen was subsequently made homeless, and forced to live on the streets scrounging for food; particularly, Oblong Meat Products, a Troll hotdog analog.

Diemen's Troll Call reveal card described him as "All About That Oblong Meat Product", although notes that he is uncertain about its precise contents. Diemen is rarely pictured without his signature hotdog, of which he is very protective, and much of his dialogue concerns it.

I'd imagine him sounding like he's at least sixteen in human years.

  • I knew it! You're just like all the rest! Your agenda is to have me relinquish my delicacy! Well, forget it! I've been tricked out of two other oblong meat products this week already. I know you probably think I'm an easy mark due to my blood color, but I still have some dignity at least!

  • Huh. I see. You just want a friend and not my sweet meat. Sorry... I get a little paranoid when I walk around with such delicacies in public. You can't be too careful. Folks tend to get that greedy look in their eyes around my warm sausage.

  • Yeah. Or... I used to, I mean. My place was bombed by drones a while ago. Now I don't have a hive, but I'm making it work out here. Foraging for tasty things when I can. I've gotten pretty good at it! Eh... Talking people into giving me meat products I mean.

Amisia Erdehn
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: dippereyes

Amisia is an indigo-blooded troll who bears the Sagira sign. This makes her a highblood with a great deal of power, despite her youth. Amisia seems to live a relatively carefree life indulging her ambitions to become a skilled painter, despite her carefully concealed lack of aptitude. Although not overtly cruel or vindictive, Amisia shows very little regard for others, casually harvesting their blood to use as paints in her hobby.

Unlike many other Alternian highbloods, Amisia's front-facing attitude to other people is not overtly hostile, a fact which initially disarms the MSPA Reader. On the contrary, Amisia initially shows kindness and concern for the Reader, healing some of their injuries and complementing their appearance. However, being raised in a society that has emphasized Amisia's status over others, the unimportance of lowblood lives, and which caters to her whims, has seemingly instilled in her a prevailing lack of care for others who are below her station. She cares about her "inferiors" mostly in relation to how she can use them, and she casually slaughters innocents for the purposes of her vain artistic aspirations.

Amisia seems to live a relatively carefree life pursuing her own wants and desires, utterly enabled by the society around her. Her commitment to living the life of a cultured artist despite her lack of commitment or skill to actually painting, and her disdain for others who she feels are below her high-brow artistic persona feels highly egocentric, although it is unlikely that she was taught anything other than to serve her own wants. It also seems that much of this persona is a front to hide her own insecurities at her inability to actually paint, as she explains tearfully to the MSPA Reader during her "good" ending.

This lack of emotional maturity in her interactions, carefree and whimsical personality, as well as her youthful appearance gives her a childlike aspect, although her actual age is not known. However, the narration at one point describes her as a "cute little alien girl", so it may be that Amisia is a younger child compared to many of the other Hiveswap Friendsim trolls.

Despite her small stature, Amisia is able to lift and swing her large axe with ease, much to the surprise of the MSPA Reader. This could indicate that Amisia has some degree of enhanced strength, much like her fellow indigo blood Equius. Unlike him though, she is not uncomfortable making a rude gesture (like in the player's bad route at the beginning) and using inappropriate language in one instance.

I'd imagine her sounding like the stereotypical 'nerdy girl' and like she's about ten years old.

  • I've never seen anything like you! It's giving me all sorts of new ideas!

  • *Sigh* I wish I'd known that I was going to have company. I would've cleaned up a little. It's been a while since I've met anyone new.

  • Calm down, you big wiggler! It's like you've never seen a medicalizer before! If you don't stop moving, it won't work!

Cirava Hermod

Unpaid
Role assigned to: ContagiousFanatic

Cirava is a yellow-blooded troll and a popular Moisturewave music streamer. Cirava's "moisturewave" interest is a play on the music genre Vaporwave, in which music is slowed down. "Moisturewave" suggests vaporwave but condensed, as moisture is condensed vapor. They appeared to based off of vaporwave and vaping culture. They also appear to have a bong in their hive, suggesting they smoke an Alternian equivalent to marijuana. They seem to have a serious eye injury, probably tying into the fact that they "shouldn't be alive". The actual injury is hidden by their triangular eye-patch. They have a very chaotic wardrobe, mirroring the 90's neon style. Their left eye is bright neon green, matching their wristband. The other eye could have been bright pink.

I'd imagine them sounding like Shaggy from the Scooby Doo series, but with a deeper voice.

  • You should really like... Not be outside. Freaks like you will get picked off by drones in a hot second. No offense.

  • If you really don't have anywhere to be... *groan* I promised myself that I wouldn't do anything cull-risky, but what the hell. Come with me. Name's Cirava by the way.

  • If we're gonna be friends, we have GOT to work on your look. Your aesthetic is basically hot garbage right now. My followers can't see me hanging out with a fucking rando like this. I'm sure you understand.

Skylla Koriga
open
Unpaid

Skylla is a bronzeblooded ranch owner living in the rural outskirts of town, with only Lady for company as visitors are rare. Skylla is a friendly, compassionate troll; the only troll so far to give the player a proper meal upon bringing the player into her hive. While she might have a cheerful disposition towards most things in life, she is well aware that she can never really amount to anything as a bronzeblood in Alternia. Like Xefros, she seems resigned to the fact that her life as a lowblood will be filled with hardship and tragedy.

She is very open and accomodating, despite the player being an alien. Skylla outright states that she should get used to the sight of aliens anyway, and reassures the player that she wouldn't call the drones. After the player helps her defeat the bandits, she invites the player into her recuperacoon to speed up the process of recovering from nasty sunburns.

Skylla is noted to be taller than any of the trolls the player character has met, and is also mentioned to be quite attractive. She is not shown using any sort of psychic ability like that of fellow bronzeblood Tavros, but is more than capable of fending off enemies with her fists and the butt of a gun. She seems to find the prospect of fighting bandits exciting to some extent, as her character sprite is depicted with a smile at some point. Skylla's lusus is a giant Rough Collie named Lady, and the two of them often fight off lusus thieves together. Skylla is very attached to her lusus, and is more than willing to put herself in harm's way to make sure Lady is safe.

I'd imagine her sounding like Applejack.

  • It's been so long since we had any sort'a guests who weren't imperial drones or out to rob us.

  • Hey there, Lady. No need to be rude. They've clearly had one hell of a time and they don't look dangerous. Just really peculiar! Sides, if they try anything you and me can take 'em.

  • You're lucky you were only out in the light at dawn. Nobody wants to be out in direct Alternian sunlight besides jadebloods. And no offense but you certainly ain't any jadeblood I've ever seen.

Bronya Ursama

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Aristeria

Bronya is a jadeblood living in buildings located in a network of caves (also known as the brooding caverns), tending to the Mother Grub with her fellow jades.

Bronya is a patient, compassionate and dutiful troll, immediately taking the player in upon hearing that the player is suffering from some injuries. She is also in charge of the nursery for ill and wounded wigglers, taking care of them instead of letting them die per Alternian tradition. While she states that she herself isn't particularly sure why she feels the compunction to tend to the sick and the injured wigglers, it is clear that she has a kind heart and wishes the best for everyone.

While Bronya is a capable leader of her fellows, she can be quite neurotic and anxious at times. This in turn causes her to have a bit of trouble delegating responsibilities to people she just met, as she has no way of telling whether said person is truly capable of handling important duties. Most of the time, she prefers to manage situations by herself. Her nervousness can also be attributed to the fact that she's not exactly complying with the basic tenets of Alternian society, seeing as she's running a nursery that's not entirely legal and may or may not harbour borderline-revolutionary ideas.

She also has a tendency to create lists of things, which probably ties in with her role as leader of the jades as she's usually the one issuing instructions and rules for her fellows. It may also hint that she prefers coordination in life, rather than being disorganized, which might impede her tasks.

Despite being one of the nicer trolls, she can become quite irate if the player harms those under her care, directly or otherwise. She is perfectly willing to toss the player out of a window for accidentally killing a wiggler, and also curses at the player when the Imperial Drones start slaughtering anything that moved in one of the bad endings. This also highlights her protective nature, as she takes her job of taking care of the lusii, wigglers and Mother Grub very seriously.

I'd imagine her sounding motherly and kind, with a voice that's not too loud or too quiet, but suddenly loud if she gets angry.

  • Usually more of my jades are around. I suppose that everyone is out watching the imperial drones arrive with the filial pails.

  • This is our nursery. Most of these wigglers are sick or injured, so we look after them in here until they're well enough to go back out to the caverns and spin their cocoons.

  • We keep this nursery on the down-low. It's not against any laws, but it's something of a break with tradition to save any of the grubs instead of just letting them die. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure why we do it. I guess it just feels right to me to take care of them, the same way I take care of my jades.

Tagora Gorjek

Unpaid
Role assigned to: beardyman

Tagora is a sketchy legislacerator with dubious morals, and swindles quite a sum from the player mere moments upon his introduction. He charges quite a hefty sum for the different services rendered, which quickly places the player into debt. This may be a callback to the third bullet point on his Troll Call card, as the player starts losing a lot of money the moment he starts talking. However, he is known for making reductions if he happens to be impressed with the player's actions.

While Tagora might appear to be a slick and confident character, there are times when he loses his composure. He visibly freezes and begins trembling when the blue-blood appears out of nowhere, and momentarily becomes speechless. This might imply that he has less-than-stellar social skills or is not particularly good at managing himself during awkward social situations. This is best illustrated when he loses his cool entirely when the player ruins his networking opportunity: Tagora begins pacing back and forth, grabbing at his face and hollering right after insulting the player's intelligence. It is also noted that he will start laughing unnaturally in between bouts of muttering to himself. Tagora may also have a cruel streak in him, since he sics an Imperial Drone on the player as means of retribution for the lost networking opportunity.

Despite his shifty nature, Tagora still knows when to thank the player for saving him from a socially awkward situation. In his gratitude, he offers the player to be his first legitimate business partner, believing that their combined skills (his fast talking, the player's ability to improvise and act) meant being able to tackle bigger and better things.

Tagora is also noted to pay a lot of attention to personal hygiene and general cleanliness. When the player opts not to take a bath, he becomes equal parts irritated and disgusted when the player tries to approach him in their unkempt appearance. Tagora also has a large collection of bath products stashed in his washroom, and uses rainbow drinker serum to highlight his cheekbones. The player also mentions that Tagora's hair appears to be heavily infused with product upon their meeting, and Tagora's hive is described to be immaculate and minimalist-themed.

As a teal-blood, Tagora is very formal in speech and manner, preferring to keep things in a strictly professional manner between him and the player. He also becomes very polite when a superior comes his way, though he doesn't particularly enjoy the notion of sucking up to those above him; he claims that doing so would grant him certain advantages. In addition to that, he also keeps a swear jar as a reminder to watch his language. Though it should be noted that he reclaims all the money placed in said jar when he is really irate.

I'd imagine him sounding like a business man who's worked at his job for many years, knowing the ins and outs along the way, and somewhat like Ron Burgundy from the Anchorman series.

  • Hello. You seem to have fallen victim to a collide-and-scamper with that scuttlebuggy back there. Have you contacted your personal legislacerator? If not, then I'd like to offer my services.

  • Yes, I think we may make a mutually beneficial team. IF you're willing to do what it takes to bring about the justice you deserve. So, what do you say? How would you like to help me help you?

  • There is a twelve percent cost increase for instances of manual labor. It'll all be explained in your bill. It's itemized. I'm sure an alien of means such as yourself will be able to handle it.

Vikare Ratite
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Vladibear

Vikare is very enthusiastic about his dreams of non-interstellar flight, but he hides it by being falsely excited about spaceflight due to it being a necessary obligation to be filled by bronzebloods. His hive is decorated with lots of posters emphasizing the excitement and adventure associated with space travel, and dozens of spacecraft models are strung from the ceiling. Despite all this, Vikare keeps posters of aviation hidden behind the former.

He seems hesitant to share his true feelings about flying with others as mentioned in one of his bad endings and needs a great deal of trust before he can bestow his ideas for flying machines with others. He describes his sketches as being very close to his heart, which is why he's so hesitant on sharing them. He is also shown to be very emotional at times, best illustrated when he weeps after misunderstanding the player's implied question or when the player accidentally mocks his ideas of aviation.

Vikare has a strange way of speaking and makes lots of different facial expressions when conversing with the player. He uses lots of fancy and unfamiliar idioms and metaphors, to the point where not even the player understands a word he's saying. The player still finds his ecstatic nature charming, though, and tries to understand him the best they can.

I'd imagine him having a thick irish accent and sounding like a gentle giant that means no harm.

  • As for me, day-to day matters here on Alternia interest me not. For I care only about hurtling at great speeds through the boundless expanse! Of the cosmos! That's right, SPACE! It is spaceflight that consumes my every waking thought and all my ador! As in accordance with my duty as a future Alternian crusader, of course.

  • Ah, I see. You're an individual with a more... Sophisticated palate. A real connoisseur of the buoyant arts, you are. Someone like you could never be satisfied with the anemic affair of traveling through the inky blackness of the galaxies.

  • Oh, who am I fooling? You've rumbled me, potential new chum. What you see before you is a collage of falsehoods. *Sigh* I'm nothing but an avatar of baloney. In truth, the myriad temptations and desires of space do nothing to tickle my biscuit. The thought of participating in the glorious eternal conquest gives me the screaming mimis!

Polypa Goezee

Unpaid
Role assigned to: EnchantedVA

Polypa is an oliveblooded mercenary who takes jobs killing trolls of any caste for a living. Before the events of Friendsim, her hive was broken into by kids on (presumably) sopor who stole most of her belongings and killed her lusus. A psionic broke both of her legs for fun, rendering her immobile. She was trapped in her hive and left to starve, but she was saved by an unnamed tealblood who lived in her neighborhood.

Polypa is very professional and calculated, being very cautious of her actions and trying to not get caught during an assassination. She is shown to be quite adept at her job; knowing how to blend into the crowd right after getting the job done and not drawing too much attention to herself in order to escape notice of the authorities. This is best illustrated just mere moments after the player runs into her: she quickly informs the player the few details needed to act natural, then begins getting into her designated character without a pause.

She's slow to trust people and doesn't have any quadrants. Before her tragic accident, she could have been a lot more innocent and naive as supported by her relationship advice blog and her bad taste in books. After said incident, she's less inclined to open up to others and has little regard for both highbloods and lowbloods, outright refering to them as scum. She shows a softer side to herself in her good ending, willingly telling the player about her accident and even letting them be her partner in crime. Should the player inadvertently break her trust in the bad ending, however, she will angrily snap at the player to leave, berating herself for ever placing faith in the player in the first place.

Polypa has fast reflexes and carries a weapon with her at all times; the weapon she's revealed to use is a dagger of sorts. This is probably due to her line of work as a hired killer, and since she's not one to shy away from high-risk assassinations, she has to be a skilled fighter to get the job done. She outright states that in order to kill the violetblood, she had to purchase a very expensive dagger and coat it with a similarly pricey poison before stabbing it in a very specific place in order to ensure that her target is indeed killed for good.

She is also shown to be quite emotional at times, growing quite irate or sad (depends on which ending) after finding out about the death of her contact. But when the player shooshpaps her, however, she calms down soon enough. While she might become overwrought with feelings, she knows better than to let her emotions get the better of her as being overly emotional doesn't do her any favours as a hired killer.

I'd imagine her sounding emotionless most of the time, only showing emotion when overly sad or angry.

  • I need to find somewhere to lay low until the heat turns down. I mean, we both do since you're my associate now. I had a contact waiting, but I don't know what happened to her. It's possible she got spooked.

  • *groan* I can't believe they added in the mistaken identity storyline. So unnecessary. Also blackrom is so boring in comedies. There's just no punch to it.

  • Tealbloods are pedantic bulgelords, but they care about justice, and these kids had attacked me for no reason. I didn't break any laws.

Zebruh Codakk
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: spinydoughnut33

Zebruh is a indigo blood living in a posh neighbourhood, enjoying a luxurious life in his giant mansion. Zebruh is a self-proclaimed lowblood ally, though it quickly becomes clear that he has very little regard for them. This is evident when the player notes that despite his claims of having lowblood guests, said lowbloods are actually slaves in his hive in all but name; dealing with all sorts of menial chores while being denied food and rest. His poor treatment of his guests have resulted in the lowbloods being weak and malnourished, though he feigns confusion when the player points out his guests' ill health. When attending a lowblood concert with the player, he neglects informing the other lowbloods of the fact that a culling is about to take place, claiming that helping them out would put him at risk. It should also be noted that he's a hypocrite; criticizing highbloods who use lowbloods for social advantages despite the fact that he's no better than they are. Overall, his thinly-veiled prejudice towards lowbloods is clear for all to see, and really couldn't care less about the welfare of lowbloods.

Apart from that, Zebruh seems to be quite desperate in terms of relationships, though he tries to be as smooth as possible while hitting on the player. Even though the player repeatedly states their desire to have friendship and nothing more, Zebruh routinely misinterprets the player's words for something else entirely. He sees friendship as a stepping stone for romance, not something entirely platonic. He asks about the player's quadrant situation numerous times, which then reveals that he wants the player in any one of his quadrants, as long as it gets filled. When the player angers him in one of the bad endings, he expresses his anger towards trolls (mostly lowbloods) that expect him to provide for them without getting any concupiscence (or any sort of romance) in return.

Zebruh is also shown to have a tendency of talking over other people or just turning a deaf ear to what has just been said. He repeatedly interrupts or talks over the player, denying the player a chance to speak. When he's not monopolizing the conversation, he would outright ignore what the player stated. This is best illustrated when he does the exact opposite of what the player requested, also highlighting the fact that he does not care about other people's preferences. He also conveniently pays no heed to the player's description of a non-romantic friendship, and completely disregards the player's attempt to explain themselves when a misunderstanding takes place.

While Zebruh is a snazzily dressed troll, this only reflects on his status as a highblood. As a indigo blood, Zebruh is fairly formal in speech and manner, though he's noted to be quite sleazy and does end up swearing when incensed. Unlike fellow indigoblood Equius, he does not express any discomfort over using crude language. He seems to be a litterbug, given the fact that food wrappers have been thoughtlessly discarded in his room.

I'd imagine him sounding like Walter White from Breaking Bad.

  • I don't believe we've met. I'm sure I would have remembered someone with such unique looks. You don't know where you are, do you?

  • You need a place to stay for the day, right? I can help you out with that. I have plenty of spare rooms for guests in my hive. You know, because I believe it's important to help out the undeserved members of the community when you can.

  • Today is actually Flushed Affirmation Day, so you'll see a lot of trolls taking their matesprits out to celebrate. Lucky for you, my flushed quadrant is currently empty. So I'm all yours tonight.

Role assigned to: AshlynC

Elwurd is very cool, calm and collected. She "has her shit together", as stated in her Troll Call card. She frequents bars and ladies-only spaces, and apparently flirts and falls for a lot of girls as evidenced by both of her bad endings. She has various posters of women up on the walls of her hive, even so far as a poster of two jadeblooded girls with the caption "makeout" in the Daedric alphabet. Elwurd tries to act completely over her relationship with Bronya, but it may be that she could be just as distressed over it as Bronya is. She constantly brings up how "over she is", seemingly as a means of trying to assure herself she is, and also keeps Bronya's sweater in her closet so Bronya will keep visiting in order to try and find it.

I'd imagine her sounding a lot like a female version of the Scout from Team Fortress 2.

  • Just seeing where the night goes, huh? Been there. Heh. I could tell you some stories, oh man. I don't want to be rude, but you're an alien, right?

  • You can call me Elwurd, by the way. I bet you have all kinds of cool alien stories. *chuckle* You wanna hang with me? I know a place near here to grab a drink if you want.

  • It's, like, embarrassing that we even dated. We were totally gonna request combat assignments on the same ship too.

Kuprum Maxlol
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Tyler Stilwell

A powerful psychic, Kuprum is well aware of what his exceptionally powerful abilities might land him on Alternia, though he is thrilled at the prospect of being used as a battery. Kuprum's personality seems to be based on 4chan culture, most likely the /pol/ ("politically incorrect") board, as he seems to favor the empire and Trizza, (even being "thrilled" at the thought of what happens to powerful psychics. This is furthered by Folykl mentioning his addiction to "eastern alternian pornography", a reference to hentai, which 4chan is known for as well. His typing quirk reflects this, as putting greater-than signs in front of messages on 4chan is known as "Greentexting," (As it makes the text green) and is used on the site for multiple purposes, including quoting another user's comment.

He also seems to enjoy pranking highbloods, due to his dislike of them in general. Hacking into their mobile devices doesn't seem to be much hassle for him, and he was able to key in the wrong directions so that the group of blue bloods would wind up hopelessly lost in an unfamiliar part of town. While Kuprum later vehemently insists that his prank was actually a declaration of war, he does not really inflict any sort of harm upon the blue bloods. This can either mean that he had yet to make a move, or is still somewhat hesitant to outright attack those he deemed as enemies.

Despite regarding the highbloods with open disdain, that does not mean that he sympathizes with the plight of his fellow lowbloods. This is best illustrated when the player (mistaken for a redblood) mumbles something about bad luck and having no place to call home, Kuprum ridicules the player for being homeless and losing their lusus. He later reveals that he views everyone as idiots regardless of social standing, so that may play a part in his apathy towards the oppressed. It is also suggested that insulting the intelligence of others is what he and Folykl do all the time.

While not an overtly pleasant person to be around with, Kuprum still cares about Folykl and to a lesser extent, the player. This is evident when the Imperial Drone begins chasing the three of them: Kuprum uses his psychic powers to levitate him and Folykl to escape, and after a bit of consideration, levitates the player as well. When they run right into the clutches of another drone, he immediately flings everyone out of range before the drone took aim. Even though Kuprum winds up being briefly separated from Folykl and the player, he rushes to defend his moiral from impending doom by frying the drone's circuitry with his psionics. After fussing over Folykl's wellbeing, he then turns to the player to check whether they're alright too.

As a lowblood, Kuprum is not obligated to speak in a formal manner, so his speech is casual and peppered with swear words. He also insults the player (and probably everyone else) quite frequently, using just about anything as cannon fodder for taunts and mockery.

I'd imagine him sounding like Pink Guy from the Filthy Frank Show. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN3CYsumqRE

  • Wait... What? You want to hang out with this bottom-feeder? They look like a huge drag. I already have enough dead weight with your ass to drag around.

  • Goddamn idiot doesn't know a case of voidrot when they see it. Have you NEVER met a goldblood before?

  • *mildly agitated* Listen. I know we make jokes about the intelligence of everybody around us. It's just our thing. *shouting* But are you ACTUALLY MENTALLY HANDICAPPED?!

Role assigned to: elicarter

She and Kuprum spend most of their time pranking highbloods as a source of amusement. She also relies on Kuprum in order to fight her voidrot. Her personality, like Kuprum's, is somewhat based on 4chan culture. However, she is shown to disapprove of Kuprum's obsession with the empire and Trizza Tethis. This may mean she is based on one of the less political boards as Kuprum is, and just 4chan culture in general. Her second bullet point, "whats a shower", seems to support this claim, as 4chan users are stereotyped as messy and often unhygienic.

Folykl seems to find great joy in pranking highbloods due to her dislike of them. She was shown laughing and snickering at the highbloods' expense in Hiveswap Friendsim: Vol. 6 alongside Kuprum, and was proud to announce that it was Kuprum that hacked into the blue bloods' GPSs to lead them to the wrong part of town. When the player suggests that it was time to call the prank off, she dismisses the player's idea as idiotic. Even though she and Kuprum view highbloods as outright enemies, they have yet to inflict actual harm on them.

Even though they have nothing but disdain for highbloods, Folykl doesn't exactly feel any sympathy for the oppressed. This is evident when the player (mistaken for a burgundy) is lamenting about how brutal life on Alternia is as a lowblood, Folykl taunts the player for their apparent incompetence for not being able to keep their lusus and home safe. Kuprum later reveals that he and Folykl views everyone as inferiors to them without any regard to social standing, which might be a reason why she remains apathetic to the lowbloods' predicament.

As mentioned above, Folykl does not appear to pay any attention to personal hygiene. Upon their introduction, the player is quick to note that her appearance is unkempt, her hair is greasy and that she smells quite foul. It is not made clear why she opts not to take a shower, though Kuprum seems to have gotten used to her unsanitary presence.

Folykl is shown to have a less than ideal personality: she frequently insults the player (and probably everyone else) with relish, and gives the player a sudden and unwanted tongue-kiss. When the player is much too confused about the entire situation to do anything, she goes on the drain the player of their energy, leaving the player in a immobile heap on the filthy street. Once that's done with, she sarcastically thanks the player for the bit of energy that would sustain her for the next three minutes.

Due to her condition, Folykl speaks in a mostly sluggish manner, but uses informal speech laced with cuss words. She has no problem with ridiculing anyone and everyone she meets, and appears to enjoy mocking other people just for the sake of doing so.

I'd imagine her sounding very weak, like she's actually about to die. She also sounds younger than she actually is due to her small size.

  • To answer your earlier question that you may have forgotten you asked, Kuprum hacked their palmhusk's GPS to bring them down here.

  • Wow. And here was me thinking we could get through a whole conversation without bringing up precious Trizza.

  • Voidrot means my body doesn't retain energy like it's supposed to. Just look it up on Goregle. It means I'm dying. Constantly. All the time.

Remele Namaaq

Role assigned to: ContagiousFanatic

Remele is a talented artist, but steals art from others without regard to copyright laws. According to her, she takes other artists' art and makes it better, which is a direct reference to a bullet point in her Troll Call card. She does not give credit to the original artist at all, instead claiming the art as her own and making quite a tidy sum off of it. When confronted with accusations of art thievery, Remele will become slightly defensive and vehemently insist that her works are all original and completely unrelated to the originals. She also shifts the blame onto the artists that she ripped off in the first place, claiming that they're out to sabotage her.

She may also have a twisted sense of justice, since she believes that the best way to get back at the artists trying to undermine her is to steal their art from the museum. Once that's done with, she reveals that she would proceed to make more better copies off the original so that she can make a good profit out of it.

Remele is shown to be quite responsive to praise and positive comments, and becomes visibly delighted when someone compliments her on her work. Should anyone give her negative reviews, however, she will call said person a plebian and have them shown the door unceremoniously. This might imply that she has a bit of trouble taking criticism, constructive or otherwise.

When a purpleblood accosts the player, Remele is quick to abandon the player to fend for themselves. This might show that she only cares about her wellbeing, and would ditch her accomplice the moment things take a turn for the worse. However, she quickly returns to save the player from certain death, risking her life in the process. As such, it can be inferred that despite clearly prioritizing her personal safety, Remele still would not like to see anyone being brutally murdered.

Even though Remele values a good accomplice to aid her in her heists, in one of her bad endings she outright states that she doesn't exactly think long-term artistic collaborations is something to her tastes. She casually leaves the player standing alone on the street, pilfered painting tucked under her arm. This might imply that she only keeps people around her if they are of real use to her.

Remele has a lot of self-confidence, and has no trouble talking her way out of situations due to the level of cofidence she projects. She states that she has an easy time trusting herself not to fail when it counts, and has a rather indifferent attitude to the dangers in life. This is best illustrated when the player outright asks her whether she is worried about being caught, to which Remele casually replies with a no as she firmly believes that she can get away with anything.

As a ceruleanblood, Remele is noted to be quite strong--she can wield the purpleblood's oversized spiked club with ease, and take quite a bit of damage without much fuss in the fight. She does not seem to care about formal mannerisms, however, as she was seen to swear quite a bit when speaking with the player.

I'd imagine her having a slight italian accent as a reference to the artists of the Renaissance period such as Leonardo da Vinci and Bernardino Luini.

  • You may have noticed some themes in my exhibited work. I don't love clowns or gore as much as it may seem. That's just what I have for sale here. If you look at my work online, you'll see more of the full range of my art.

  • *sarcastic at the first sentence* Oh, SURE. They can be unpredictable, and keeping them happy requires some schmoozing. Occasionally I have to pretend I've drank the Faygo and pull some religious references out of my ass.

  • Alternia barely has any copyright protections to speak of. It's just that little pest Gorjek trying to stir up shit as usual. The company behind this lawsuit wouldn't even care if he hadn't gotten involved.

Konyyl Okimaw

Role assigned to: Shihuchi

Konyyl is a skilled professional killer that values discretion in her work, even though she winds up blurting out too much information about her client mere moments upon her introduction. Despite not being able to keep details on the down-low, she is capable of taking out large numbers of adversaries with little difficulty. This is best illustrated when she slaughters all the trolls in the warehouse in a brief span of time, and the sheer brutality of the entire scene was more than enough to cause the player much discomfort.

She is also noted to be quite brash in terms of personality, speaking loudly and harshly to anyone she meets. However, when she notices that the player is feeling quite nauseous after witnessing the bloody deaths of the bandits, she is quick to reassure and calm the player down. As such, it can be inferred that she still has a soft side despite her callous mannerisms; this might also be a reference to the third bullet point on her Troll Call card, as it states that she has 'a broad shoulder to cry on'.

Apart from that, Konyyl really enjoys the work her profession entails, regardless of how gory it might get. This is evident when she is overjoyed to finally be able to murder her targets as opposed to wandering around the warehouse in pointless circles. She even fondly recounts her past heists, saying that a fight wasn't even bloody enough to her liking. In her good ending, she hands the player a stolen palmhusk so that the player may contact her if there's any more brutal killing that needs to be done.

Konyyl is noted to have anger-management issues, as she is prone to taking out her anger on shrubbery when dealing with other people. She is also quick to hurl violent threats to anyone that irritates her, providing her listeners with very graphic descriptions of what she'd like to inflict on them. She really doesn't take insults to her courage all that well, seeing as she was ready to get into a huge fight with Skylla when the bronzeblood called her a coward for not taking up her job.

I'd imagine her basically sounding like a female professional wrestler. If you make her sound like Jasper from Steven Universe I will love you forever.

  • Okay, sure, the why isn't important. How much you got? How much are you willing to throw down? I doubt any lowbloods could afford my fees, let alone a bunch of country rusties.

  • Fine! Anything to get me away from this stupid bush! But YOU! You're coming with me! *the next sentence slowly intensifies to shouting* I'm gonna hold you to that, and if there's no money then I'll hold you tighter and SQUEEZE UNTIL YOUR WEIRDLY COLORED EYES POP OUT!

  • Damn. They must have globes of steel. Talking back to an adult... I mean, I am GREAT at rushing in without giving it any thought, but I'm not a total moron.

Tyzias Entykk

Role assigned to: Aristeria

Tyzias is a tealblood living in Outglut. She is a young troll who studies to become a legistrator with a group of other tealbloods, and aspires to create positive change on Alternia for the better. Tyzias is an astute and studious troll, spending most of her time researching Alternian law and plenty of other subjects pertaining to their justice system. She mentions that she often stays up to pore through said subjects, which has made her sleep deprived over time. Despite all this, she is well-versed with the proceedings and details of Alternian law, and has discovered several loopholes in the system that can be used as leverage. Apart from all this, her diligent studying has also allowed her to know of historical figures wiped out from Alternia: she knows of The Sufferer's bid for peace and equality, and The Summoner's military rebellion to fight against injustice.

Since Tyzias is fully aware of how messed-up the system is on Alternia, it pains her to witness the pain and suffering inflicted on the masses, particularly lowbloods. She laments the fact that there is already enough anguish in the world, even when there is no one enforcing a brutal caste system. Even though Tyzias explains that a legislacerator's role is to uphold the harsh hemospectrum, she fully intends to pass her exams so that she can be a major player in Alternia's legal system. Only then can she create positive change for troll society, as certain things can only be changed from the inside. As such, it can be inferred that she has a big heart and wants real justice for everyone.

Apart from this, she is noted to be quite mellow in mannerisms, and has a rather sluggish manner of speaking. Even when riled up, she doesn't become excited or animated; the only change in demeanor seen was just her sitting a little straighter. When she realizes that the player had lost track of a particularly important page of hers, she does not explode in rage or lash out at the player, instead reprimanding herself for trusting the player before weeping silently. The only time where she really loses her cool is when the breeze messes up her stack of papers once more, resulting in her sinking to the ground and letting loose a loud howl. Her overall stoicness might be due to her exhaustion from sleep deprivation, but she appears to be capable of controlling her emotions relatively well.

Tyzias might seem like someone that has issue letting others help her, but she has no trouble letting the player assist her in collecting her dropped books and papers, as well as allowing her fellow groupmates to complete their parts of their group assignment. Even so, she is still quite hard on herself: only allowing herself to sleep once a week so that she can study law, and barely giving herself any time off to relax.

Tyzias is described to have prominent eyebags that are tinted teal, and her smiles have a tendency of resembling grimaces most of the time. She does not appear to have any qualms swearing, unlike fellow tealblood Tagora.

I'd imagine her sounding like the stereotypical intern who hates her job and wants to quit but can't.

  • Well, I mean you don't look much like a troll. It isn't exactly a gargantuan mental leap to assume you're not from around here, but also I've heard about you.

  • *groan* That little asshole is going to have even MORE unfortunate crap to say to me when he finds out I set us all back by dropping half our group project into a ditch.

  • This must be an old watchtower. From when that was part of her imperial bitchiness's preferred method of surveillance.

Chixie Roixmr

Role assigned to: MovingBoxes

Chixie's a talented singer who dreams of being recognized by all, even though her blood caste means that she would face a lot of obstacles in her bid for fame. Her musical skills are best illustrated mere moments upon her introduction, the player gawks at how Chixie is able to make her voice fill the entire alley way even without the aid of a microphone. Apart from that, she is able to get the hang of rapping just in time to place her cerulean opponent in a humiliating defeat. It should be noted that all the lyrics Chixie used in the rap battle were all improvised on the spot.

She is also shown to be quite emotional at times, despite knowing full well that she would be subjected to hardship and sorrow on Alternia. After being informed that she was no longer performing for the night, Chixie returns to the dressing room in furious tears, incensed at losing her spot to a band that had a purpleblood drummer. Upon realizing that said band were singing her songs as well, Chixie becomes both furious and despondent that all her hard work and creativity would go unnoticed, once again in tears.

Apart from that, Chixie can be seen as somewhat impulsive; the moment the player says that something should be done, Chixie runs back into the dressing room to retrieve a mask and microphone. Her howl of anger puts the show to a grinding halt, and she boldy challenges the cerulean singer onstage to a rap battle. Even when Chixie's rapping wasn't steady at the beginning, she eventually finds her rhythm and soundly defeats her opponent. When she and the player are back in the alleyway, Chixie is just as stunned that she'd done something so rash without thinking of the consequences.

While her Troll Call card mentions that she "blocks all non-praise" and has "self-promotion sickness", she doesn't exactly display these traits prominently. She mostly laments the fact that she would face plenty of difficulty gaining fame, grumbling that being a well-known lowblood was almost paradoxical in nature. She also alternates from being frustrated that no one would recognize her under the mask to being frightful that the authorities would hunt her down for saying vulgar things to a highblood onstage, much to the player's confusion.

Chixie has been described to be quite short in stature despite her age, as the player notes being much taller than she is. It is not known whether she drinks on a regular basis; she might have decided to drown her sorrows just once as the sheer injustice of it all was too much for her to bear.

I'd imagine her having a sing-song voice and almost always in melody, like someone starring in a musical.

  • No worries. Well, at least not about my leg. If you want something to worry about, I'm sure I can come up with some ideas without much trouble.

  • *melodious laughter* You aren't wrong. People around here will do anything for attention nowadays. For instance, you are walking around in an ablutionrobe.

  • *angry* I got bumped! They kicked me off the lineup! I was supposed to be opening, but some new band came in and they have a purpleblood drummer, so the club owner let them take my place!

Azdaja Knelax

Role assigned to: shageru47

Azdaja is a skilled professional killer that handles most of the planning and scheming side of things, as mentioned by Konyyl in volume seven. He uses his device--a scouter--to scan for information, be it for coordinates or in the player's case, their species. He also stresses the importance of having good strategy so that he and the player would have a tactical advantage in Duel Strifers; urging the player to increase their pace so that they can surprise their opponents. Thus, it can be inferred that he understands that having all relevant information on a particular person or subject would place him in a better position to execute plans. Despite this, however, he winds up mistaking the player for someone else entirely even though his other deductions were correct.

He is noted to be a bit pompous in terms of personality; the player notes that he appears to enjoy listening to the sound of his voice when explaining the intricacies of Duel Strifers, hence his excessively detailed spiel regarding the subject. Azdaja also uses his psionics to flap his overcoat just for the sake of creating a dramatic effect, regardless whether there is a breeze. When attacked by a cerulean girl, he becomes visibly angry as he cannot believe someone had the gall to mess with him. Also, he is quite smug about his exceptionally strong psionics; scoffing at 'weaklings' that desperately want an unbeatable psionic on their side. It should also be noted that he does not like mediocrity, given the fact that he believes being gifted entitles him to a better life.

Even though he may be self-centered at times, he still knows when to thank the player for helping him out in the game. This is evidenced by the roundabout way he expresses his gratitude towards the player, and he insists that celebration is in order once he and the player collect the cash prize. Azdaja is more than willing to split the winnings with the player, showing that he isn't all that egocentric.

As mentioned earlier, Azdaja is an incredibly powerful psionic, the strongest one the player has met so far. When Azdaja picks the player up with his psionics, the player describes the sensation like 'stepping on a strong breeze'; when Kuprum used his psionics to levitate them, it felt like being yanked up by the scruff of the shirt. Another example is shown when Azdaja is briefly mind-controlled by the cerulean girl, his eyes glow so brightly the sight scares the player witless. As it were, he possesses exceptionally strong psychic powers that makes him the envy of others, and is frequently approached by others that want a powerful individual on their side.

While the final bullet point on his Troll Call card describes him as a good listener, Azdaja seems to only extend this courtesy to people he's well acquainted with. This is best illustrated in one of the bad endings: during his heated debate with Konyyl regarding the player's true identity, he quickly accepts her description of the player without much fuss. When the player attempts to explain themselves in either of the bad endings, however, Azdaja pointedly ignores the player's frantic words and either drops them or begins attacking the player.

Despite being a lowblood, he and Konyyl do not care for the plight of the oppressed. He outright states that he has very little regard for both the Empire and the rebels; as long as he and Konyyl have killing to do and money to earn, he couldn't be bothered by political events on Alternia. However, Azdaja does not seem to relish the idea of being sent out to space by the Empire, as it means that he can no longer do cool things of his own volition.

I'd imagine him sounding like Vegeta or Sonic the Hedgehog.

  • Well, well, well. Would you look at what the purrbeast dragged in. Are you lost?

  • Dual Strifers pits Alternia's best and brightest against each other in a timed event designed to reveal the most skilled among the group. Which would be me, of course. That goes without saying.

  • You met my matesprit? You must've gotten on her good side, or you wouldn't be standing here talking to me. Because you'd be minced into the ground finer than grubpaste.

Chahut Maenad

Role assigned to: Shihuchi

Chahut is a preacher in Clown Church, and does a stellar job of rilling the crowd up with her words. She also appears to be a significant presence in said church; all she needed to do was smirk at the preaching troll onstage to make him scamper off so that she may take his spot. As it were, she is capable of managing the crowd on her own, and captivates her listeners easily. She is also noted to be quite devoted to her religion, informing Amisia that being able to praise her messiahs is a privilege and a revelation.

She is noted to be quite laid-back, not getting particularly angry even when insulted by others. This is best illustrated when Amisia throws a barbed comment about Chahut's profound love for Clown Church; instead of getting furious with the blueblood for saying such a thing, Chahut merely reminds Amisia that being able to sing the Mirthful One's praises is all that she lives for. Another example would be when the player exclaims that church sucks, Chahut just gives the player a steely look before going along with Amisia's initial plan. Even though Chahut is indeed annoyed with the player for insulting her religion, she mostly uses passive-aggressive behaviour to unsettle the player as opposed to lashing out.

Despite her frightening appearance, Chahut still has a soft side to her. When the player is unable to preach to the crowd, she sympathizes with the player's nervousness and offers them a seat so that they don't strain themselves. She also snaps at a clown to stop macking on the player, clearly defensive of the player's wellbeing. As mentioned in her Troll Call card, she enjoys scrapbooking with Amisia (even though the process of getting paint can be quite gory).

Interestingly, despite being a preacher in Clown Church, Chahut is noted to ignore most of her fellow purplebloods. The player notes that she only greets a few of them in a casual manner, paying no attention to the rest. This might be due to the fact that she's set to be exiled in a few perigrees, and sees no point in establishing more friendships. It should be noted that the player ponders on the possibility that Chahut believes herself to be superior than said clowns.

Chahut doesn't seem to relish the idea of being sent out to space to do the Empire's bidding, welcoming the notion of being culled just so she could be absolved from her obligation. This might be due to the fact that she mentions those out in space don't 'follow the good word as close as they should'.

Chahut has a close relationship with Amisia, though they're not in any quadrant at the moment. Judging from Amisia's reaction, it can be deduced that she would like to be in a quadrant with the purpleblood, but as Chahut is set to be exiled soon, Amisia does not see the point of getting into a quadrant with Chahut. Even so, the two get along well; bonding over their love of art and scrapbooking. The two of them would occasionally argue about Chahut's devotion to Clown Church, but that does not put any real strain on their friendship as Amisia understands, even though the blueblood is evidently unimpressed. Chahut also mentions that she and Amisia would strife to make decisions, so the two could be considered sparring partners.

Apart from that, Chahut has a relatively good relationship with the clowns in Clown Church. Even though she does not pay each and every one of them attention, she is well-liked regardless and commands respect from the lot of them.

Due to her large size, I'd imagine her voice sounding deep and intimidating.

  • A true pleasure, small thing... Any friend of little blue is a friend of mine. Especially one who'd look so pretty on the newest page of my scrapbook.

  • *chuckle* Peace and gospel, little blue. I was only playin'. Messiah's know I'm owed a bit of fun, and ain't it a fair bit hypocritical lecturing me considering what you were getting up to the first time you and I got to jawin'. Ripping heads off and all.

  • Thanks, brothers and sisters. Today is a singular sort of day, for today I looked towards the mountain and saw the fire in the sky. That fire is our messiahs, and our messiahs are the fire, feeding a hungry forge in the belly of hell, that sweet salvation of split bone and sulfur-colored eyes. Was it the heat of eternal damnation or the sweet flame of revelation?

Zebede Tongva

Role assigned to: Mondarious D Simmons

Zebede is a beekeeper living out in the countryside, and seems to harbour a bit of resentment about living so far away from civilization. Even though he knows full well that it's all done for the sake of his bees, he constantly laments the fact that no one could be bothered to visit him as the distance is too much. Despite this, he genuinely cares about his bees; when the player enquires whether he telekinetically threw bees at an intruder, Zebede is appalled at the idea of hurting his bees in any manner. It should be noted that even though Zebede is able to communicate with his bees, the bees would sometimes ignore him despite how polite the request may be.

At first Zebede appears to be an eager and somewhat dorky troll due to his eagerness to meet the player, but it quickly becomes apparent that he's hiding how lonely he feels behind his cheery façade. He constantly states how he would like to hang out with the player and Cirava numerous times, but would insist that he's alright with his friendlessness (his expression clearly says otherwise). Zebede has a tendency to say downbeat stuff about himself, believing that other people are far better and cooler than he is. Apart from that, Zebede is noted to say the word 'sigh' in an exaggerated manner instead of actually sighing; it is not made clear whether this is a verbal tic or a way to obtain pity. Whether his overall demeanor is a byproduct of his insecurities or a not-so-subtle manner of guilt-tripping the player (intentional or otherwise) is up for interpretation.

Zebede is also noted to be quite emotional, and has has no trouble expressing how he feels freely. This is best illustrated when Zebede is talking to the player: he goes through a whole range of emotions, his face clearly portraying how he felt at each given moment. When Zebede believes that the player has betrayed his trust, he breaks down into tears and cries unselfconsciously, causing the player quite a bit of distress.

Apart from that, Zebede seems to be a rather private person; he becomes visibly flustered when the player goes through his fanfiction without permission and when the player suggests viewing the last video Zebede watched. This might be due to the fact that he does not want to be judged harshly for his preferences, as Zebede mentions feeling the need to agree with strangers blindly just for the sake of being accepted. This also implies that the frustration he exhibits when going through his interests in front of the player is caused by his fear of judgement; worried that the player would scoff at his hobbies.

Despite this, Zebede is more than willing to defend the player from harm (even though the player admits to committing the crime). This is likely because Zebede is beyond touched that someone was willing to steal a car to visit, and now said person is willing to lay down their life for his sake. Just as the player is about to hand themselves over to the enraged owner of the scuttlebuggy, Zebede loudly insists that no one would lay a hand on the player, commanding his bees to attack the intruder outside.

I'd imagine him sounding like Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5e6ftNpGsU

  • *Enthusiastically at the first two sentences* HIIIIIII! I'm Zebede! I hope it's not too sudden to grype you like this. Is it ok? Oh-Oh my god you don't have to respond to that! Sorry for being weird! Let's start over. *nervous chuckle*  How do you know Cirava?

  • *Excited* You're here! You actually came! I seriously can't believe that someone actually went out of their way to visit me!

  • So... What do you want to do? I have a bunch of really cool stuff we could check out, but I didn't want to make you just do whatever I wanted. I know we barely know each other...

Tegiri Kalbur

Tegiri is a anime fan that runs his own club, where viewing sessions are held in his hive. He has quite the passion for it, collecting figurines, manga, DVDs and replica swords, displaying the merchandise proudly in his home. He also reveals that he polishes his figurines daily, akin to how he cleans his blade regularly. Apart from that, he states that the main reason why he brough the player into his home is because he would like to engage in intellectual debates about anime. Yet, should someone have a weak opinion of what they prefer in anime, he will quickly snap at said person to leave as he has no time for those who cannot make up their minds.

Tegiri can be quite stand-offish in nature, preferring to be seen as a unwavering servant of the law. He scoffs at the idea of being friends with just about anyone, though he hints that sometimes life can be a little lonely for him. Despite his reluctance to form solid bonds with people, he still thanks the player for lending an ear while he was going on one of his rants regarding the need to uphold the rules and regulations stipulated by highbloods. The only time where he softens (somewhat) is when interacting with Polypa, being civil towards her and frequently inviting her over to his place to watch anime.

As a teal, Tegiri is well-versed in Alternian law just like his fellows. When the owner of the hobby shop he frequents is found to be breaking the law, Tegiri is able to give clear lists of exactly what legislation has been breached. He also feels the need to obey the laws laid down by his superiors, even though said legislation is prone to their whims. Unlike fellow tealblood Tyzias, Tegiri supports the Heiress and relishes the idea of obtaining a medal for his loyalty and service. Despite this, he sometimes struggle with the 'legal vs moral' argument, as that would mean killing Polypa for good.

Tegiri is also quite fixated on being a honourable person, and despises people who partake in flagrantly illegal activity. When the owner of the anime store is found guilty of breaking the law, Tegiri has no qualms using his blade on the goldblooded shopkeeper. Also, when Tegiri learns that the player is wanted for several offenses, he loses his patience and lunges for the player almost immediately. Finally, Tegiri states that he often wanders the neighbourhood in search of evildoers to defeat, which was also how he stumbled upon Polypa's semi-demolished hive and consequently saving her from a painful death.

He is also noted to be quite formal in mannerisms, inviting the player into his hive with a deep bow and taking his shoes off before entering the main living area (a Japanese custom). While he is more casual in speech, he frequently peppers his vocabulary with Japanese words. This is best illustrated when Polypa reveals she and the player are well-acquainted: Tegiri blurts 'nani' (Japanese for 'what') before asking how that came to be.

I'd imagine him sounding like Envy or Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist.

  • An alien... Hmph. I won't have to cull you, then. Not immediately, at least. You don't appear to be a cull-on-sight species. Lucky for you, that I won't have to lose my blade. And lucky for me, to have found a potential new comrade. I know what you seek.

  • You seek the meeting place of the Eastern Alternian Fine Animated Art Appreciation Society, or as some less cultured souls would call it, the anime club.

  • *chuckle* I see you are admiring my fine East Alternian collectibles. I polish them daily, just as I polish my blade. *suddenly threatening* Don't touch them, or you'll taste folded steel.

Mallek Adalov

Role assigned to: zexrimion

Mallek is an 'information specialist' (he prefers this particular term to hacker or information technology specialist), and is quite skilled in his trade. The player notes the sheer number of computer equipment littering Mallek's hive, and the cerulean is also able to hack into shipment drones with little hassle. Despite this, however, Mallek isn't particularly impressed with merely reprogramming delivery drones, calling it 'weaksauce shit'. Even so, it should be noted that he still has a desire to command all drones so that he can control them en masse and create real impact on Alternian society.

He is quite laid-back in personality, not getting offended by the player's impoliteness and instead chatting with them amiably. However, the player later notes that Mallek isn't as calm and collected as he projects--Mallek is described to have weary eyes and a gloomy disposition towards his future in space. All this stems from the fact that Mallek has no desire to be shipped out to serve as a soldier or a spy for the Condesce, since his prized hacking skills will not be utilized in any sense. He also isn't particularly thrilled to be someone mid-caste, as the standards imposed on them are higher than usual. Mallek only loses his cool in two separate occasions: when drones attack his hive and when the player drops his phone in the river. During the former, he berates the player for leading the drones to his place before escaping; during the latter, he pushes the player into the river as means of retaliation, though he saves the player from a watery grave almost immediately and apologizes for his rash behavior.

While not one to actively fight for lowblood rights, Mallek is fully aware that the living conditions on Alternia aren't suited for everyone. He genuinely feels bad for the lowbloods as he doesn't believe they deserve the pain and suffering inflicted on them, and tries to be courteous to lowbloods he deems alright. Mallek has once offered Diemen shelter from the rough streets, and the cerulean has no issue paying his lackeys for a job well done. When the bronzeblood bows to him, Mallek becomes visibly uncomfortable and gives the troll an awkward pat on the arm. It should be noted that Mallek isn't against revolution on Alternia, though he has a bit of trouble envisioning that actually happening.

Mallek is noted to pay quite a bit of attention to his appearance, considering the fact that he has numerous piercings and uses black nailpolish as well as eyeliner. The player also notices that Mallek has a ring that could double as a brass knuckle, all in line with his punk aesthetic.

Despite being a ceruleanblood, Mallek speaks in a casual manner and sees no need for formalities of any sort. His hive is shown to be in a state of disarray similar to Dammek's hive: the sink overflowing with dirty dishes, random computer equipment scattered everywhere on the upper floor. As such it can be deduced that Mallek doesn't pay much attention to organization, preferring to focus on coding and other IT related stuff.

I'd imagine him sounding like Tony Montana from the movie Scarface.

  • *chuckle* T'be fair, I DID just get my boys to drag you off the street. I get how that is a little not chill. Sorry about all that. I'm Mallek.

  • *clears throat* Right. So, everyone is going on about this new Chitter account 'Alien Invasion of One'. Figured it be a publicity stunt or imperial propaganda. Uninteresting. Not worth my time. But then I start thinking. What if it's not?

  • Nice job, guys! I'm rerouting a Sythian drone shipment as we speak. Treyaf, I'm sending you those DVDs you wanted. They'll be at your hive when you arrive.

Lynera Skalbi

Role assigned to: Starlight Scented

Lynera is a troll with a distrustful and stringent nature, immediately suspecting the MSPA Reader to be a spy when they come to meet Bronya in the Brooding Caverns. Despite the player insisting that they aren't in league with hostile parties, Lynera ignores the player's claims and continues to treat them with nothing but harshness. When the player takes her to a cafe to interact with trolls of other castes, Lynera is unable to fully relax as she has trouble viewing others with an open mindset. Apart from that, when a teal comes by to chat, Lynera remains cagey as ever and winds up lashing out at a potential friend.

Lynera is also shown to be quite emotional; she is either incredibly angry or upset depending on the situation. Upon meeting the player, she furiously demands to know why the player thinks they could possibly be friends with Bronya, snapping that the player was nothing but a nusiance to everyone around them. When Lynera speaks about her less-than-likely chance of being matesprits with Bronya, she bursts into tears as she is visibly distressed with the nature of her current relationship with the other jade. Overall, it can be assumed that her emotions tend towards extremes, which makes her emotionally volatile and rather difficult to manage.

She also has murderous tendencies, which might be related to her unstable emotions. She has absolutely no qualms brandishing a knife in front of the player, and her study cave has ominous blood spatters here and there. When ranting about Elwurd, Lynera mentions wanting to brutally murder the cerulean for being such a terrible person to Bronya. In one of her bad endings, she attacks the player out of sheer jealousy, hissing that only she would be Bronya's friend. Yet in her good ending, she hastily informs the player that she never really wanted to kill them right after she puts them out of harm's way.

Despite this, Lynera is very dedicated to her work in the caverns and is Bronya's second-in-command. This causes her to be somewhat reclusive, in turn leaving her with very little opportunities to leave the caverns and meet other people. She is fascinated with her duties as a jadeblood and troll reproduction, spending most of her time reading relevant tomes. Lynera is also quite a stickler for rules and organization; she mentions that she has a whole study cave to herself solely because she found rule-breaking jades intolerable.

She is also shown to be very posessive over people in her life, and her crush on Bronya is implied to be somewhat unhealthy due to her obsession with the other jade. Lynera invades Bronya's privacy by checking her phone, and expresses frustration over the fact that numerous others would like to be friends with Bronya. As Lynera wants Bronya all to herself, this drives her up the wall. A testament to Lynera's excessive passion for Bronya would be her corkboard: numerous photos of Bronya are tacked up there, and Lynera has a notebook dedicated to documenting precious moments spent with Bronya.

Lynera is obsessed over Bronya, and is extremely clingy over their relationship. While Lynera would rather remain as Bronya's faithful friend as opposed to outright losing her, Lynera is clearly distraught with the arrangement as there's a distinct possibility that someone else might win Bronya over. Even so, Lynera finds it difficult to communicate with Bronya about her feelings, choosing to keep it a secret from everyone. While Lynera is aware that her fixation on Bronya isn't healthy by any means, she stubbornly refuses to move on and insists on depending solely on Bronya for all her emotional needs. Lynera also mentions that watching Elwurd mistreat Bronya was excruciating to watch, adding that she would viciously attack the cerulean the next time she dared set foot in the brooding caverns.

I'd imagine her sounding like Topaz from Steven Universe.

  • *stammer* Th-that's none of your business! Bronya and I are best friends! I'm just looking out for her! She has a lot of jadeblood responsibilities and doesn't need anyone shifty coming in to disrupt her!

  • *long, overdramatic gasp* Well, I never! As I said before, I am Bronya's best friend! I take our relationship *stutters* I-I mean my responsibilities as a friend very seriously!

  • *threatening tone* I brought you here because your messages to Bronya were highly suspicious! I don't know you, and I don't trust you! Y-you could be trying to see Bronya for nefarious purposes, so I brought you here to vet you! Now we can talk about what your REAL intentions are!

Galekh Xigisi

Galekh is a scholar of sorts, spending most of his time reading up on subjects of interest. His thirst for knowledge is what brings him to invite the player to his hive in the first place, as he is more than eager to understand more about aliens--specifically humans. Galekh has a large library with numerous books, and mentions that he'd spent quite some time researching aliens before inviting the player over in the hopes of getting more relevant information on the matter. When the player is happy to cooperate with Galekh, the blueblood asks numerous questions pertaining to human culture, which inadvertently sends the player into an existential crisis. Despite his extensive knowledge regarding certain topics, Galekh is open-minded and willing to gain new experiences by stepping out of his comfort zone.

While Galekh might appear to be a calm and confident character, there are times when he becomes ruffled by the player's actions. When the player either calls him out on his concern for impressions or repeatedly interrupts him, Galekh gets visibly agitated and annoyed. This implies that Galekh might be somewhat anxious in nature, since he's quite worried about what others think of him and feels the need to correct any misconceptions right away. This is best illustrated when the player unknowingly made a lewd remark when Mallek is working on Galekh's tattoo: Galekh lets loose an anguished cry and remains quite upset until the player tactfully resolves the tension in the room. It should also be noted that Galekh has a tendency of speaking in a rushed manner when unsettled, with anger biting at his words.

Even though Galekh repeatedly makes it clear that he simply wants to study the player for the sake of learning more about humans, the player is quick to notice that Galekh seemingly pays more attention to the player's ability to make friends. When confronted with the insinuation that he would like more pals, Galekh pointedly informs the player that he's not that desperate for companions. However, the player concludes that Galekh's defensive nature is meant to hide the fact that the indigoblood wants to be recognized and liked by others. After a bit of talking, Galekh more or less admits that being known for something other than his intellect would be alright.

Despite his status as a highblood, it quickly becomes evident that Galekh isn't interested in keeping people hostage for cruel amusement--he outright states that he usually has better things to do. Galekh is very formal and courteous in nature, greeting those he meets with a brief introduction and a firm handshake regardless of social standing. Galekh also brews coffee for the player right after granting them entry into his library, revealing that he takes civility quite seriously. However, should one insult his hospitality by boorish behavior, Galekh will become more than displeased with the disrespect he recieves. It should be noted that Galekh doesn't have any inhibitions when it comes to swearing, though he more or less tries to keep it at a minimum.

Galekh seems to keep his belongings in a disorganized yet purposeful manner, which makes the player wonder whether he'd done so just for the sake of pointing interesting books out for them. Even so, Galekh is quite protective of his books and manuscripts: he expresses vague irritation with his custodians penchant for snacking on important tomes, and Galekh outright forbids Mallek from looking through his entire notebook.

I'd imagine him sounding like the stereotypical college professor or a male version of Garnet from Steven Universe.

  • Yes, yes. I am Galekh Xigisi, you are the alien, nice to meet you officially, et cetera, et cetera. It is imperative that we speak. As it is a matter of some importance, I hope you will take my request seriously and follow me to my hive, where we can talk more openly. I live right around the corner. It is in your best interest to comply. This is not a threat; rather it is a genuine expression of the critical nature of my request. If it were a threat, you would know.

  • Please take a seat. I will make us some coffee. You will not have had any like this before, as the taste is drastically different from the slop you get from a public coffee shop. It is possible that your palate is not experienced enough to tell the difference, but I can walk you through the simpler points.

  • Ah, I see what you are doing. Unfortunately for me, it will absolutely work. It stands to reason that allowing you to broaden my horizons with your alien ways will only serve to increase my cultural competence.

Tirona Kasund

Role assigned to: Starlight Scented

Tirona is a young troll eager to prove herself useful for the Empire, and would go out of her way do make herself useful for Trizza's cause. This is made evident when she outright states that her main job is to spread memes so as to create support for the heiress, and has a troll well-versed with technology to man the fake Chittr accounts she'd created just for the sake of disseminating propaganda. She is fairly confident that her efforts with "Memeaganda" will someday be recognized by her superiors, which also means that she can get some bonus allegiance points. Her main desire is to work alongside His Honorable Tyranny (a monster that plays the role of a judge or head of court in the troll justice system), believing that being sent out to apprehend criminals is far more dangerous than the off-chance of being eaten by the monstrous judge.

While she might be competent at her job, there are times where Tirona can come off as immature at times. For one thing, she believes that ratting someone out as a rebel spy is a perfect way to get a one-up on the others, since she's quite desperate to prove herself superior to the other teals. When she is unable to find anything particularly incriminating in Tyzias' office, she flies into a frustrated rage and thoughtlessly rummages through all the documents in the hopes of finding something useful. It should be noted that most of her infatuation stems from the fact that she's young and not at all inclined towards violence, meaning that being knowledgeable is the only thing she has as leverage against her fellow teals.

Despite her shifty inclinations, Tirona is a friendly character and chats amiably with the player throughout the route. She only becomes exasperated with the player when they decide to mess with their phone instead of breaking into Tyzias' office. However, Tirona is prone to abandoning the player when things go wrong: when the player accidentally accepts a call from Tagora, Tirona high-tails it out of the office instantly; when Tyzias catches the player and Tirona in the office, Tirona flees the room right after Tyzias bluntly tells her to hit the road.

I'd imagine her voice sounding high-pitched and nasal, like Peridot from Steven Universe.

  • So what we're gonna do here is I'm just going to go ahead and access your files in our system. Shouldn't be too hard to find since you're a weird alien and... Yup! Here we go! That's what we're looking for! *mischievous snicker* Time to make a few edits!

  • Right now, you're in our system on a lot of weird and serious offenses, but you and I both know the only thing you're REALLY guilty of is trying to keep your head and shoulders attached, yes? Just gonna click here, delete a few things, and... There we go! You're clean!

  • Basically, if you're a teal looking to learn how to do teal things, this is where you go for a hands-on internmentship! Most of it is law related, of course, but there's a couple of semi-related fields for the go-getters looking to do something a little different. Like me!

Boldir Lamati

Role assigned to: Nymyru

Boldir is a calm and collected individual, not prone to unexpected bursts of emotion. Upon meeting her, the player is instantly soothed by her presence as they feel no urge to prove themselves worthy of friendship. Boldir appears to be completely at ease with her place in the universe, for she doesn't seem to mind her worth (or lack of thereof) in regards to her existence. When she's on the brink of death in one of her bad endings, she isn't particularly upset with the notion of ceasing to live and breathe.

She also appears to be incredibly well-read, given her ability to understand the details regarding destiny and causality. She casually debates the two concepts while on a stroll with the player, even though the player has some difficulty digesting the information she's dishing out. This might be due to her vagueness when conversing with the player, as she often asks rhetorical questions and gives thought-provoking statements. As it were, it can be deduced that she's well-versed in philosophy.

Boldir is noted to be a very cautious individual: after leading the player out of the cafe, she constantly checks her surroundings and takes numerous detours as though trying to shake off a stalker. This might be due to the fact that she knows too much information, culminating with an unknown troll trying to assassinate her in both routes. When trying to keep her aloft, the player notices that Boldir has four guns stashed away in her large coat, hinting that she's armed at all times to protect herself from dangerous situations. While her hat isn't given much attention in-game, her Troll Call bullet point reveals that the hat's interior is lined with foil to prevent any sort of celestial influence. Apart from that, Boldir is described to be rather muscular despite her short stature, and proves to be heavier than her appearance lets on.

I'd imagine her only speaking in whispers, as stated in the game.

  • It doesn't matter. I only wanted to see if you would follow the path or trample through it. But you did neither. You forged your own way while taking care to preserve that which has come before.

  • Well, I can't teach you astral projection. But pickpocketing is actually quite simple. Would you care to learn? Ideally, we'd need a third person to act as the mark, but I think we can make it work.

  • *weak* You're probably right. But... Maybe you should try it anyway? *shrill, hacking cough* I... Can't feel my legs.

Stelsa Sezyat

Role assigned to: Shihuchi

Stelsa is an ambitious and forthcoming business person, with an internship as an auditerroriser under the Alternian Government. Upon meeting the player, she offers the player her business card and services, indicating that she is quick to take every opportunity available to her. She fully intends to become the best in her field, which is why she takes on numerous side-jobs to gain new experiences. This is the main reason why she's going all-out to impress her potential client--in this case, Remele. Her desire to succeed keeps her extremely busy, which is reflected in her tendencies of overworking herself. When she admits that she believes reading Remele's webcomic is an irresponsible and flippant way to spend her time (despite enjoying it), the player has a hard time encouraging her to allow herself time to rest and relax as Stelsa misunderstood the player. Overall, Stelsa seems to be the sort that places ambition over comfort.

She is extremely confident and self-assured when it comes to her work and schedule, though there are times where she loses her composure. This is best illustrated when the player openly speaks about Tyzias' insurgent views on Alternian society, Stelsa quickly dissmisses the player's insinuation that Tyzias is involved in anything treasonous. When the player probes further, Stelsa flies off the handle and becomes near hysterical in demeanor in her attempt to defend herself. However, should the player back off, Stelsa simmers down quickly enough.

Apart from that, Stelsa appears to be quite friendly to those she meets. Even though she'd only learned about the player from Tyzias, Stelsa doesn't mind offering the player a drink and a snack right after inviting them into her hive. She also has a tendency to refer to the player as 'darling' every now and then, hinting that she's rather affectionate in nature.

Stelsa is noted to speak in a rushed manner, making it hard for others to get a word in edgewise. The player describes the entire experience as being struck by a verbal freight train, and is quite amazed that Stelsa is able to say so much without drawing breath or pausing in between sentences. In addition, Stelsa has toned arms; results from exercising often (there are dumbbells in her living room and a stepper tucked away in a corner).

I'd imagine her having an accent similar to that of a pirate's.

  • *agitated* Jaromy used to be so on the ball! Remember the time he gave me a full-prong beautifying procedure right after that highblood ripped his arm off? But now, he can't bounce back from one little thresher in the abdominal sausages. What happened?! That boy is losing his touch!

  • *gentle* Look at you! We can't have you wandering around outside like this, darling, can we? Aren't you ravishing? Do give me the name of your stylist. So good to meet you! Here's my card.

  • Come in, come in. Welcome to Chez Sezyat! Make yourself at home! Can I get you anything? Water? Grubcake? My rates sheet? I would love to continue our chat while I am a little less sweaty. Also, acid wreaks absolute havoc on the skin. You know how it is.

Marsti Houtek

Role assigned to: VoiceOfAni

Marsti is an indifferent and apathetic janitor, not particularly concerned with anything or what people think of her. She appears to have a hard time giving a damn about other people, and she blandly asks why they player feels the urge to hurl themselves into dangerous situations. She also snaps that she couldn't care less about other people's opinions of her, even though she has a tendency to become rather defensive when people question her motivation or occupation. Her snarky and cynical demeanor can be attributed to the fact that she's at the bottom of the Alternian social scale, since it means that she can never really amount to anything by virtue of the hemospectrum.

Marsti is also shown to be a private person, outright stating that she isn't about to tell her whole life story to some random alien on the street. When the player attempts to have a conversation with her, Marsti isn't impressed with the player's desire to socialize, claiming that they're doing a piss-poor job of being a lookout as they're too busy asking her invasive questions. Even in the few instances where she lets the player in on a bit of info, the details are minimal and brief.

Apart from that, Marsti is somewhat irritable and impatient. She finds the player's presence exasperating at best, their remarks and comments annoying and poorly-worded. When the player inadvertently implied that she's not enthusiastic about her current job, Marsti doubles down on her work just to prove that the player's wrong. She also thinks answering the player's numerous questions to be tedious in nature, for the player sometimes gets confused with troll terminology and cultural differences. Should the player keep making references to friends made in the passt, Marsti grumbles that not all lowbloods are acquainted with one another, clearly getting frustrated with the player. As such, it can be inferred that she's slightly abrasive in terms of personality, though she does have a soft side to her.

Despite her gruff attitude, Marsti is still capable of caring for others. Upon meeting Folykl, Marsti quickly notes that the goldblood has voidrot and offers advice on how to manage her ailment better. Marsti displays a surprising amount of knowledge regarding biology and medicine, even though she's fully aware that there is minimal chance that she would be a medic off-planet. When Galekh's goat lusus tries to eat her glove, she merely scratches the goat behind the ears as a distraction so that she can gently extricate her hand, hinting that she's not one for constant confrontations.

While Marsti is indeed a neat freak, she only likes cleaning places that might prove to be a challenge for her. When the player offers her to clean an alleyway, she dismisses it as too easy. This is also the reason why she doesn't stick around in her hive and instead goes around town--she finds cleaning the same place numerous times an immense bore. She also mentions that her cleaning duties are all subject to her moods; should she feel like cleaning a certain something, she shall do so, dangers be damned.

Marsti seems to get along fine with Folykl, even though the goldblood does not appreciate Marsti examining her. Even though Folykl proceeds to mock Marsti's knowledge regarding voidrot, the rustblood doesn't bristle at the insults tossed her way. Marsti proceeds to give Folykl some pointers on how to retain energy via keeping clean, and the player notes that while Folykl seems exasperated with Marsti's advice, she actually listens to every word.

I'd imagine her having a german accent and sounding disinterested most of the time.

  • You shouldn't be out alone in a place like this. Not that I can really summon much gumption to care beyond this one walk down the street, but did you come here to die? Because that's what's going to happen if you keep this shit up. What's your deal?

  • Do I care about my bucket? That's... Kind of a weird way to phrase it. I care about it as much as the next person who doesn't want to get culled. Also, scourdrays don't grow on coniferous fauna.

  • Whatever I'm feeling, mostly. Today I was feeling getting rid of this INCREDIBLY UGLY PIECE OF SHIT drawing. Tomorrow I might be feeling dirty front door mats. Depends on my mood.

Karako is a friendly and cheerful purpleblood, taking a liking to the player mere moments upon meeting them. When the player risks life and limb to defend Karako from an Imperial Drone, Karako is immensely impressed with the player's quick thinking. In his good ending, Karako does not hesitate to offer a hug to the player, though he later decides a handshake would be less dangerous as his belt is stuffed with blades of every sort.

Apart from that, Karako has a bit of a temper and does not respond well to provocation. This is best illustrated when the seadwellers relentlessly mock him and the player; Karako vibrates with undiluted rage and his eyes turn red. After one jab too many, Karako launches himself right at the violetbloods with his blades in hand. While Karako is shown to be a capable fighter, things don't go well for him as his opponents are made of sterner stuff. The player guesses that Karako doesn't take well to bullying as he probably had to deal with it while on his travels.

Interestingly, Karako only communicates through a series of honks, but the player can understand him just fine regardless. It is likely that he can't speak Alternian yet as he's much younger than he actually appears to be. Karako is also shown to be barefoot, and sports numerous jewelry on his being.

I'd imagine him sounding like a child.

  • Honk!!

Charun is shown to be very relaxed and laid-back, showing few changes in emotion when interacting with people. When the player finds them in their home, Charun isn't all that surprised to see someone occupying the seemingly abandoned place. After the player asks more relevant questions, Charun reveals that they were after an old lens, but got stuck in the process of retrieving it. Even though they are trapped in a tight confine, they didn't exactly bother to ask for help, even when the player is standing right before them. They are also noted by MSPA Reader to speak in deep, regular voice, which threatens to lull the player back into slumber. They also appear to be perpetually tired, given their slow manner of speaking and overall sluggishness. Upon being freed, Charun thanks the player for lending a hand, but state that they can't quite leave yet as they are too tired and hungry to do anything. They later mention that foraging for food in the garbage takes quite a bit of effort, which might explain their fatigue.

Charun makes art out of different items of junk they find, and seems somewhat defensive of their work. When the player describes their art as 'interesting', they aren't pleased with the player (for that's what other people say when they don't have anything good in mind) and flat out ignore them after that. They view art as "dicking around" and they oppose overthinking the entire process, taking a laid-back approach to it, just doing what "feels right". However, they aren't exactly in favor of not thinking at all or relying too much on instinct; saying that creating art requires a balance of both to achieve something truly astounding.

They are also noted to have odd whims: Charun never bothered interacting with the player simply because they didn't feel inclined to socialize, and insists on pocketing Azdaja's and Konyyl's tracking device because it would serve as good art material. Even though the player tells them that stealing is a bad idea, Charun merely tells the player to stall for time so that they could keep the object to themselves. They later abandon the player to deal with the aftermath, showing that they aren't one to really value relationships.

I'd imagine them sounding like Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants. Or just stoned 24/7.

  • No... Climbing all the way up here... just for some building material... would be pretty dumb. I want to use it for... *long pause* Art.

  • Foraging for garbage takes a lot of energy... and I used the last of it climbing up here. I don't think I'll be able to carry it myself.

  • I've... Seen you around before... You're pretty hard to miss.

Wanshi Adyata

Wanshi is a fan of the book series Soldier Purrbeasts, and writes a lot of fanfiction for the series. Her fanfiction is popular amongst readers, and Wanshi is quite proud of her achievement. The entire reason she snuck out of the caverns in the first place is to attend Beastcon to meet up with fans of hers and make new friends. Juding from her ability to write captivating stories and love for reading books, she can be assumed to be quite intelligent. She also partakes in role-playing games, and gets right into the spirit of things almost immediately. When the player's lackluster attempt at playing with her becomes a minor issue, Wanshi gives the player several pointers and also lends them her personal copy of Soldier Purrbeasts so that the player could be more familiar with the lore, hopefully improving their role-playing skills in the future.

She is noted to be quite cheerful in nature, which might be linked to her relatively young age. When the player informs her that they can lead her to Beastcon (irrespective of whether the player is actually lying about the entire thing), Wanshi whoops and claps her hands in clear joy. While she is indeed friendly to people, treating her like a helpless child seems to irritate her somewhat. When the player inquires whether Bronya is nearby, Wanshi frowns at the player's snitching ways and disappears. While she is young, she knows well enough to now follow strangers anywhere; she states that the only reason why she agrees to go anywhere with the player is because she knew who they were.

She also expresses a distaste for people that lie to her, adults in particular. She outright says that people usually don't tell her the full truth, thinking that they can make decisions for her solely because they think they know better. What she finds especially infuriating are the sort that don't expect her to notice that they're lying to her face. Even though she's extremely upset that the player deprived her of her one chance at having fun, she still appreciates their honesty.

Despite not feeling overtly resentful of her life in the caverns, Wanshi feels restricted by the limitations of the cavern. When walking with the player, she shows evident wonderment at all the little things in her surrounding environment, occasionally giving commentary for her numerous observations. She mentions that sneaking out is commonplace for young jades as they want to see new things, though she had refrained from doing so to stay out of trouble. Her keen observation skills aren't just limited to mundane things, she also takes note of rather darker elements in Alternia. When she and the player happen upon a corpse, Wanshi falls silent and spends a few moments taking it all in. While she later states that she doesn't quite understand what it all meant, the player ultimately decides that processing what she saw was probably done elsewhere, not with a stranger while walking past the woods.

While Wanshi is one of the younger trolls introduced, she doesn't mind swearing on occasion (either by her or by other people). When the player amends their rough language, Wanshi bluntly tells the player to not patronize her, then proceeds to repeat after the player to show her eagerness regarding the entire matter. Even so, Wanshi remains polite and friendly to everyone she meets.

I'd imagine her sounding either like Ruby from Steven Universe or Hōjō Satoko from When They Cry.

  • *giggle* I'm Wanshi! Also, I know who you are, if you were wondering. I wouldn't go wandering off with just anyone, quest for brains or not. I may be only five and a half sweeps, but I'm not stupid!

  • Hmm... Okay, I see there's no use trying to fool you. I MAY have done a small jailbreak.

  • Oh, I was trying to get to Beastcon. It's a convention for all kinds of stuff, but I wanna go for the Soldier Purrbeasts meet up. My fanfiction is pretty popular! I have a lot of fans going and I thought maybe I could make friends with some of them!

Fozzer Velyes

Pre-scratch, Fozzer is a cheerful gravedigger who is a staunch supporter of communist/socialist idealogies, and spends quite some time preaching about the benefits of an equal system where abuse of power by the higher classes are nonexistent. He firmly believes that the lower castes should not be persecuted merely because of a difference in blood hue (or any other ridiculous reason the highbloods will use to justify their cruelty), and that rebellion would be just the thing to topple the oppressive dictators lording over the lowbloods. Fozzer is also shown to be extremely loyal to the cause, saying that dying for his fellow oppressed trolls (it was unlikely that rebellion would succeed) would still be an honour. He's also been noted to blurt statements that indicate his desire for equality: "All power to the people! Death to arbitrary hemospectral discrimination!", et cetera.

Post-scrach, Fozzer's personality is overriden to become pro-Empire. When the player expresses their wonderment at Alternia's uniqueness, he is delighted that the player has such a generous view of Alternia's orderly hemospectrum and naturally evolved degrees of privilege reflecting naturally evolved degrees of ability. Despite the apparent unfairness in play (the lowbloods are completely dominated by the highbloods still), Fozzer doesn't see a problem with it. He instead stresses the importance of playing one's designated part dutifully, for abandoning one's assigned station to meddle in other matters would cause overall plans to go awry. In this instance, he clarifies that Alternia's ultimate goal is to keep expanding their empire under the Condesce's banner, and lavishes praise on the fuchsia ruler.

Apart from that, Fozzer is a friendly individual. While he was indeed suspicious of the player at first (he floated the idea that the player could be a highblood masquerading as an alien just to spy on him), giving him the answers he approves of shall grant the person his trust. The moment the player successfully answers his questions, Fozzer instantly calls the player a comrade and starts palling around with the player. However, should his trust be broken, Fozzer will turn on the player in a hot second.

While Fozzer might appear to be less aware of Alternia's societal tenets (given his current job as a grave digger), he's actually quite well-versed with the biased and cruel social dynamics in play. He's more than capable of proffering detailed analysis of social problems presented by the hemospectrum (irrespective of his stance on the matter), and becomes quite irritated with the player for commenting on matters clearly out of their depth. When the player slights him with their uneducated assumptions and biased judgements, Fozzer quickly paints the player into a corner with his in-depth knowledge of the matter. It should be noted that Fozzer seems to have a special dislike for people that go about spouting nonsense even though it is evident that they have absolutely no clue about what they're talking about.

He mentions that he runs a business digging graves because he finds it unsightly and unhygienic to leave bodies rotting out in the open (Aradia once mentioned that trolls normally don't bury their dead), thinking that doing so would be a good idea. Also, Fozzer repeatedly insists that he doesn't believe in ghosts despite the fact that burgundies are known for their ability to commune with the dead; this might be due to the fact that communism rejects religion as an 'Opiate of the Masses'.

I'd imagine him sounding like Pete from the Mickey Mouse cartoons.

  • An alien? Hmmmm... Well, you ARE the color of cheese, but it could be makeup. You could be a highblood in disguise, come to watch poor little Fozzer Velyes pursuing his humble profession of pit-perturber for some unknown reason of your own...

  • Pleased to meet you, comrade alien! All power to the workers! I imagine that finding me performing the honest labor of the working class makes you feel right at home!

  • It's so good to talk to someone who hasn't been hypnotized from wigglerhood with counterrevolutionary pap! Someone who sees conditions on Alternia for what they really are! Who sees the evil of highbloods! Someone who will march in the vanguard of the worker's revolution to face unflinchingly the onslaught of the aristocracy, perhaps - nay probably! To die in a hail of bullets, but never turn their back on the people!

Marvus is a popular highblood singer with a cult-like following; his mere appearance at the music festival drives the crowd absolutely wild, which is also the reason why he has numerous bodyguards with him to keep him safe from harm. Just about everyone applauds his creativity and ingenuity when it comes to music and dancing, the player also noting that his lyrics aren't racist in the slightest. While Marvus is certainly happy with his fame in the creative industry, he off-handedly mentions that being perpetually pestered to pail with teenagers frays the nerves somewhat (that's why he isn't too upset with all his fans dying at the end of his shows; it's a normal occurence). Even so, performing for his adoring fans is something he clearly lives for, and wouldn't want to disappoint his loyal fanbase in any capacity. When the stage equipment goes haywire and falls apart, Marvus becomes momentarily despondent as his show is ruined for the night.

While he is a well-known highblood performer, he doesn't take any pleasure in abusing his position on the hemospectrum. When the crowd demands that he publicly kill the player for show, he spares the player's life and instructs them to play dead so that the crowd doesn't notice what's actually going on. Marvus reveals that he saved the player's life because they felt bad for them; he's aware of Zebruh's less-than desirable personality and openly criticizes the indigoblood for constantly trying to worm his way up the social ladder. The purpleblood is also aware of the subtle oppression in regards of his caste; the seadwellers enforce rules and cultural precedents on the purplebloods in order to ensure their status as the superior caste. Despite not explicitly calling for rebellion, Marvus remarks that shaking up the system would certainly make things interesting. To top things off, Marvus goes out of his way to care for the player's well-being at every turn: saving them from crowd violence, consoling the player, feeding them food, shielding them from an explosion, and taking them to the one safe place he knows to try and escape impending doom.

Apart from that, Marvus is strangely aware of the time shenanigans and knows a lot in regards to reality and all the details that do or do not contribute to it. When the player uses terms that normally don't make much sense in context (eg: non-canonical decision), he's able to grasp their real meaning in mere seconds and add on to the discussion taking place. Marvus firmly believes that a person's fate is in their hands and not the other way round, stating that every decision made (irrespective of its actual significance) contributes to the overall essence of existence itself. Judging from the brief lecture he gives the player, he appears to be incredibly well-versed with the concept of reality and irreality.

Marvus is shown to speak in a very casual and easy-going manner; his laid-back demeanor doesn't change in the slightest even when things aren't going alright. This is best illustrated when he's injured after protecting the player from a sudden explosion: he still maintains an air of detached calm despite being in clear pain and tries his best to soothe the player about their existence in the universe.

I'd imagine him having a thick southern accent.

  • Whaddup guys? You juggz ready to cook!!?

  • *easygoing* Ha ha! Lookie what we got here! Seems like a fuckin' lowblood cut to the front of the line my friends!

  • Wooooowwww! Y'all want me to kill 'em! Shieeeet that's brutal! Well, I ain't one to let down my fans, you hear me? Justice be fuckin' done, my merry men! What better way to cap off a wicked night than with a lil' gutterblood shower?

Daraya Jonjet

Daraya is a disillusioned jadeblood rebelling against any person with authority, apathetic and indifferent to anything and everything around her. Despite her detached and disaffected demeanor, she harbors a lot of anger and resentment at her freedomless by virtue of her caste position. She mentions that her rebellious attitude is a byproduct of her internalized hopelessness, for she would rather not think about matters that would send her into a depressive spiral. Even so, it is relatively easy to rile her up into a destructive state: all the player needs to do is feebly offer a meaningless reassurance and Daraya will explode in rage. She also shows nihilistic traits, for she believes nothing means anything and has dedicated her final moments to destroy all that she cares about so that there's one less thing to be concerned about. When the player desperately tries to bring her to safety (she'd caused an explosion that set the abandoned mall ablaze), Daraya furiously kicks the player aside, hinting that she would rather embrace death than deal with the injustices taking place on Alternia as a whole.

Apart from that, Daraya has a tendency to sigh or groan in exasperation. She doesn't appear to appreciate small talk, for she almost immediately winds up griping about her less than ideal social position on Alternia. Given her sullen nature, she prefers to be left alone; when describing the abandoned city she stumbled upon, she claims that she adores the place as there's no one around. Yet if she deems a person to be cool enough for her taste, she might hang with said person as she wouldn't get bored of their company too soon.

However, Daraya is aware of how her actions affect others and would apologize if she'd caused any offence. This is best illustrated when Daraya is conversing with Tyzias: the teal tries her best to talk Daraya out of her apathetic and self-destructive tendencies, but Daraya takes it upon herself to discredit everything Tyzias says. When Tyzias finally gets angry with how Daraya dismisses any effort as pointless, Daraya quickly apologizes for being tactless with her opinions. Daraya's soft side is also shown when she gives the player an awkward but well-meaning pat when they're feeling distressed.

Daraya is noted to use heavy makeup; the player describes her eyes like twin black holes where all sense of fun and concern go to die. Her overall look is meant to show her rebellious nature--spiky haircut, black spikes, chunky black boots, the sleeves of her shirt haphazardly hacked. She also is prone to slouching and crossing her arms, using body language to indicate that she's absolutely unimpressed and unaffected by events around her.

I'd imagine her sounding like a stereotypical high school girl.

  • Yeah. Parties are lame. Most parties are lame, anyway. This one might be pretty cool. Elwurd's pretty cool. I mean... She seems alright. I don't think she's THAT cool. I just think her hair and clothes and personality don't completely suck is all.

  • Pfft. You would think that. Dunno why I thought you might be cool. You might be friends with Elwurd, but you're also friends with... *long groan* Bronya and Lynera. They're the two most BORING trolls. On this planet.

  • *disgusted* Ugh! No! Gross! I HATE Lynera! *suddenly flustered* A-A-And not in a romantic way! Or, well... ANYWAY NEVER MIND.

Nihkee is a professional wrestler who takes her craft very seriously, for the spends almost all her time training and ensuring that she's at peak physical condition. Any sort of slight towards her passion (intentional or otherwise) is a grave offense to her, and she would be quick to dismiss the offender for being disrespectful to her and the sport. When the player expresses doubt over their enthusiasm for wrestling, Nihkee instantly sends the player away for she would not have someone sullying wrestling.

Even though Nihkee is a highblood and prone to stating her superiority over others, she still would take it upon herself to train those she deems worthy of her tutelage. The main reason why she took the player to her hive was to offer them an intense bodybuilding session, as she firmly believes that coupling the player's determination and tenacity with a rigorous workout would help them become better and stronger. She pushes the player to their absolute limit while testing them. either taunting or spurring the player onwards to achieve the best results. When the player manages to get through the physically demanding routine, Nihkee is very satisfied with the player for not giving up easily.

While not clearly shown in-game, Nihkee is depicted to be relentless in her pursuit of revenge. In the bad ending that would have taken place had the MSPA Reader look for Nihkee again, Nihkee winds up losing her remaining leg to the player's clumsiness. Despite being injured by the entire ordeal, Nihkee still manages to run after the player and rip their vehicle apart when they try to escape. Nihkee continues to hunt the player down in her quest for revenge--not even being hit by an oncoming train could make her deviate from her goal. She overcomes this obstacle by giving herself cybernetic upgrades, turning herself into the ultimate killing machine.

She is also shown to have a flair for the dramatic, for she doesn't get out of character even when she's backstage. She also has a tendency to loudly emphasize her speech for full effect, flexing her arm muscles while she's at it to drive the point home.

I'd imagine her having a Russian accent, like a female version of the Heavy from Team Fortress 2. Anything in all caps is shouting.

  • Do you want to know what happens, sister, to people who disturb my preparations? Do you want to. *suddenly shouting* EXPERIENCE. THE BONE-CRUSHING, TORSO-SHATTERING IMPACT OF THESE LADIES RIGHT HERE???

  • NO! Unless you're particularly, disgustingly weak, in which case MAYBE! Such is the risk we take, we who indulge in that most noble and dignified of sports! I was willing to give up my leg for the craft! Is your life such a heavy price to pay for a tale that will transcend us, and be remembered in the annals of muscular history? IS IT, SISTER?

  • ALL YOU'VE DONE IS AVOID ME, COWARD! WHERE'S YOUR KILLER INSTINCT? DO I SCARE YOU? ARE YOU LOATHE TO FACE MY! TRUE! BLUE! MUSCLE-BOUND! BEAUTY?????

Lanque Bombyx

In Lanque's SFW route, he is a kind and patient person who takes great care to not upset anyone around him. Throughout the entire poetry reading session, he remains perfectly understanding towards the needs of others and is respectful of his companion's boundaries; when the player is startled by the abrupt hand holding, Lanque warmly informs them that they aren't obliged to conform if it makes them uncomfortable. Another example would be when Lynera is too overcome with emotion to remain at the party: Lanque doesn't mind her sudden need to leave in the slightest, merely imploring that the player take good care of Lynera while they head home.

Apart from that, Lanque (in his SFW route) has a profound love for poetry and pours his heart and soul into his works. After inviting the player and Lynera to join his circle of friends, the untitled work he proceeds to recite has deep emotional resonance and a majestic beauty to it. Despite his proficiency for the art, he doesn't look down on others who might not be as good as he is when writing poems. Lanque firmly believes that poetry is all about expressing one's feelings; it doesn't really matter if the prose is a bit short in length or not as lyrical as others might be.

However, his personality is completely different in his NSFW route. Lanque is shown to have a sharp tongue when dealing with those he detests; when calling out Lynera for her tendencies to make snide comments about other people, outright calling her a snake, Lanque doesn't shy away from asking incredibly pointed questions to undermine Lynera's flimsy excuses and outright denial. He quickly manages to reduce Lynera into a puddle of tears, smugly remarking that she deserved the verbal lashing she got.

In addition, Lanque is both promiscous and flirty in his demeanor. Before completely ripping into Lynera, he spends a few moments being unexpectedly intimate with her, which ruffles her immensely. When she's gone from the party, Lanque zeroes in on the player and goes out of his way to make it absolutely clear that he's into them, albeit in a physical sense. The moment he gets a quiet moment with the player, he unabashedly asks to pail with the player, claiming that they would like to try it before the chance is gone forever. However, he later tells the player that they weren't particularly good in satisfying him in bed and leaves without so much as a backward glance. He's also extremely manipulative, telling the player that it was his first time pailing with someone, and only revealing that he had pailed numerous times before after finishing.

He is also shown to partake in risky behavior: he appears to purchase drugs frequently from Elwurd, and offers the player a capsule. When the player absolutely refuses to try any potentially dangerous substances (even more so as alien biology differs from human ones), Lanque immediately assumes that the player is a boring person, and then proceed to give the drugs to Diemen instead. Despite the player's reasonable justifications, Lanque still holds the belief that the player isn't one to try new daring things.

I'd imagine him having a thick german accent, like the Medic from Team Fortress 2.

  • Oh, aren't you interesting. Is there a reason you look like *slow, menacing chuckle* that?

  • Er, well. I suppose since she was chosen for the cloister? Some number of sweeps ago. I don't remember, really.

  • What? Are you going to pretend you DIDN'T spend the better part of two and a half sweeps complaining about how much I disgusted you? Come now. You DO know that everyone is aware you're a nasty little bitch, right Lynera?

Barzum mostly has a demure and worried personality, and is noted to speak in a monotonous and incredibly quiet voice. She is first seen bearing a worried and hesitant countenance, almost appearing to be sad. The player mentions that her words are quite hard to pick out, since her voice is so soft. However, Barzum also appears to switch personalities with Baizli, adopting his loud and brash manner of speaking. When truly irate, Barzum can be seen snarling at the player, furious with the player for wanting to leave so soon.

On the other hand, Baizli starts off with a shrill and dramatic persona; hollering his words as though he'd never heard of the term 'indoor voice'. The moment the player gets a clear look at his featuers, they note that he has a manic gleam in his eye that matches the wicked grin on his face. Yet, he swaps this trait with his sister, becoming sad and close to tears when the player expresses their intent to leave the house as quickly as possible.

The twins have a morbid fascination with blood colour and other gory details--right after learining that the player's an alien, the twins are curious as to whether the player's intestines would writhe around if they cut the player's stomach open. When the player swaps stories with the twins, the player mentions that it's hard for them to not cringe upon hearing one of Barzum and Baizli's more gruesome stories.

However, the twins aren't noted to be as sadistic as they appear to be; when the player tries to make a deal with the twins (letting the player live so that the twins would have a playmate), Barzum and Baizli are shocked that the player assumes that the purplebloods would kill them off. The player deduces that since no one told the twins that not every troll or being heals as quickly as highbloods, Barzum and Baizli automatically assumed that anyone would bounce back from their injuries as quickly as they do. Once that little misunderstanding is cleared up, the twins are more than eager to showcase their skills to the player.

I'd imagine both of them sounding like the twins from The Shining.

  • Barzum: Welcome.

    Baizli: Welcome!

Barzum: We're glad that you're awake.

Baizli: And that you came to visit us!

Barzum: We've been really, really, really, really...

    Both: Bored!

  • Baizli: We're Baizli!

    Barzum: And Barzum.

Baizli: You're the alien, ain't ya?

    Barzum: You look weird.

    Baizli: Your body's real weird!

Barzum: We wonder what color your blood is.

Baizli: Or how springy and slimy your acid tubes are!

  • Barzum: NO WAY!

    Baizli: We told you.

    Barzum: We've been so bored!

Baizli: Do you know what it's like...

    Barzum: To be all alone!

Baizli: With no one else to play with...

    Barzum: For wipes?!

Baizli: We might have each other. We're never truly alone.

Barzum: That's what makes being us so great!

Doc Scratch

Doc Scratch was developed by Hussie with a devil figure in mind. It is no surprise, then, that he is a master at manipulating people and events to his own ends, leading Alternia to live a radically different life than its pre-Scratch counterpart did. From extremely radical changes like introducing a Horrorterror onto the trolls' home planet to more cosmetic changes such as the addition of his own green moon, Scratch seems determined to leave his mark. Hussie aptly describes the planet as Scratch's troll fanfiction, with Scratch changing details of the original planet but keeping the same people.

Scratch is self-assured and believes himself better than amateur manipulators like Vriska and Equius, as unlike them, "He never lies", and he always plays with his cards face up. He also seems to be extremely intelligent and composed, as during the very same conversation with Vriska, he states that even though he tells Vriska what his next moves will be during their matches, she still can't beat him. This is because he is an expert manipulator of people but does not rely on deception to accomplish it—a skill that Vriska envies in both Scratchand Terezi.

The fact that he writes in the color white and that he has no Pesterchum handle (due to typing on a typewriter) indicates that he prefers to remain an anonymous party and work behind the scenes, carrying out his schemes with the least amount of influence possible. He doesn't want to be directly involved in the happenings that lead to fulfilling the planet's ultimate purpose, nor to his employer's entry to the universe, and therefore prefers to coerce others to do it. Figuratively speaking, he seems to consider others to be less than players, mere pieces to be moved into place—or perhaps billiard balls which, when struck by the cue ball, will move, whether they desire to or not. In fact, though only a small portion of the conversation can be seen, in one panel, we see Aradia conversing with Scratch via Trollian, highlighting a portion of his text that suggests he doesn't understand the arrival of Jack Noir to the trolls' incipisphere, and isn't supposed to be involved with this particular incident. When he speaks to Vriska it is with an air of superiority, telling Vriska that "The short amount of time I have reserved for arguing with a child has expired."

I'd imagine him having an ethereal, echoing voice, almost similar to SHODAN from System Shock.

  • Oh. I'm not an alien. Or, no more than any of us are alien to each other. In fact, nothing is alien to me. The root concept behind that term is alienation, being forced from that which is natural. Nothing is unnatural to me. I look upon all realities as equally inviting and approachable. It's you, my dear, who are out of place. I could see that even if I was not omniscient. Which I am.

  • Please, have a seat. The emotional transition might be a tad uncomfortable, but I know you've handled worse. You're quite the soldier. Allow me to be the first to say that I am very pleased with your work. I knew exactly what you were going to do, of course.

  • I find you sweet. Honestly, I do. I don't intend to cause emotional injury; I'm just telling you the truth. I never lie, you'll find. It isn't like you don't have admirable qualities of your own, of course. You have made quite the valuable vessel for me, and I appreciate that very much.
