Hikari Academy Idol Casting Project
Project Overview
Hikari Academy is looking to debut its very first idol group! 20 students are hoping to debut, but only 10 will make the cut. It is up to you to decide which students get their chance at stardom! We are looking for 9 vocalists to bring our debut song and a 10 track concept album to life!

What do you need to audition?
Decent microphone quality. We want to be able to hear clean, clear vocals with minimal background noise. Other than that, feel free to use whatever microphone you choose! You don't have to have top of the line professional equipment to get cast.
Please be at least 13 years of age. We will be using Discord to communicate, so we ask that you abide by the terms of service.
A blend test! The required blend test is the first prechorus and chorus of "High Hopes" by Panic at the Disco.

We are also looking for composers, lyricists, and other support staff to help bring this project to life! The project admins have progress to show, but we need a little bit of assistance to get the project moving faster. We plan to release the debut song and a 10-track album on YouTube as well as other streaming services. If the project does well, we would love to compensate those involved in its making. However, at this time it is simply a volunteer project. Vocalists applicants can also audition for support staff if they wish to do so.
Casting for staff will occur before the audition deadline.
Casting for vocalist roles will be announced a couple of days after the deadline.
Please leave a small introduction and your Discord tag in your audition description. This will allow us to contact you if you are cast!

We are looking for vocalists to join our project! All vocal types are encouraged to audition. The only requirements are:
You must be 13 years of age or older (Discord's terms of service)
You must provide the required blend test (High Hopes by Panic at the Disco)
We currently have 9 vocal spots open! Be advised that this project is a debut song and an album with 10 tracks on it, so it may take a little time to complete. Please be patient with the staff as we finish up songs, and please be dedicated to the project if you are cast!
Please include your Discord tag and (should you choose) a link to any other vocal samples you may have (Can you rap as well as sing? Feel free to show us)! Also, check out the link to the project's Carrd in the description. If you have a favorite Hikari Academy student, feel free to tell us which one you would prefer to be cast as! We will try our best to accommodate your choice.
We will reveal the cast list a few days after the deadline.
