Hellsing OVA 2 [FANDUB]
Project Overview
Hello! Recently, I'm my attempt to slowly become a weeb I started watching watching Hellsing Ultimate and really enjoyed the 2nd OVA and thought "Hey! I should do a fandub of this!" and here we are!
For this casting call, I'll be looking for pretty much every role in the episode excluding Alucard (who'll be played by me, hopefully I don't dissapoint)
IMPORTANT NOTE: In terms of voices, I'll allow some characters to not be 100% accurate to the dub voices for them with the exception of Luke Valentine (played by Patrick Seitz) and Sir Integra Hellsing (played by Victoria Harwood). For the rest of the characters you can either try out your own interpretation of them or stay accurate to the dub voice, the choice is yours.
ALSO: For the roles of Seras Victoria, Sir Integra Hellsing, Walter C. Dornez and the Board of Directors, the characters need to have their distinctive british accents (and in the case of the Board of Directors, they need to sound somewhat posh), the Valentine brothers should have an American accents, and the soldiers can just have whatever accent.
With that out of the way, feel free to audition! Auditions will be running for 2 weeks until April 5th, so y'all should be able to have enough time to audition (if you do want to audition, of course)

Male, late 30’s, originally played by Patrick Seitz. He is much more serious than his younger brother Jan, and has a slight hint of self-righteousness. For this character remember to match the original voice as much as possible, if you may.
(Clearly annoyed) Shut up! A stream of dribble pours from your mouth before every job. Can we just this once try for quiet, focused and cool? (serious) Failure is not an option.
(mix of frustration, tiredness and annoyance) What? (pause) Just stick to the plan, don't give them an inch. I think I'm heading for the basement. (pleased) Well that's enough of that, time to see what you can really do, Alucard.
(laughs nervously, switches to a terrified voice) What are you?!? WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!? (pause) MONSTER!!!
Male, late 20’s - early 30’s, originally played by Josh Phillips. He is a much more carefree individual than his older brother, and a whole lot more vulgar.
NOTE: If you wish to audition for this character, please keep in mind that he does say a lot of vulgar/mean things, so if you’re not comfortable with that, do not audition for Jan
“(telling a story) [laughs] So this dude's friend, I mean he's like a real doctor but, like, does the cosmetic shit on the side, right? So then that same crazy fuck with the horn comes back, but now he wants a plexiglass plate for his skull! And the doctor fuckin' does it! He makes a window! You can see the fucker's brain and shit! The guy's got a big monster horn and his head meat on display. The guy's a freak! I mean what the fuck! [laughs]
(upbeat, almost intentionally annoying) Yo! Luke, whaddup? Can you hear me now? This is your brother Jan Valentine, commander of the army of the undead Hellsing slayer, oh yeah! Letting you know, the first two floors are secure! Now all that's left is take the third floor, crash the roundtable conference, aaaand kick the shit out of a little girl and a bunch of old people.
(somewhat crazy laugh) Dude... you must be going senile, Alfred... (switches to upbeat, taunting) And now, for our next trick, check out door number three!
Female, early 20’s (yes, she does not look or sound like it, but she is), originally played by Victoria Harwood. A cold and calculated person, she is the fearless leader of the Hellsing Organization, and “master” of Alucard. For this character remember to match the original voice as much as possible, if you may.
(serious) What happened? Report! (baffled) What?!? (back to serious) Hold the line. Buy as much time as you can! (startled but composed) Officer? I need details! How many? Who are we fighting?!?
(amused, mockingly) You made it. Congratulations!
(startled, worried) Seras! That’s enough! Stop! Seras… please… stop…
Female, early 20’s, originally played by Katie Gray. A young vampire in training, at this point in the story she is not yet accustomed to the life of a vampire, and thus will hesitate in violent situations at moments, or completely lose all cool in others.
(somewhat struggling, but on top of things) I’ve got ‘im Walter! Are you alright?
(happy with herself) Well, I was a police officer once!
Male, early 60’s, originally played by Ralph Lister. The Hellsing family butler, he is a seasoned vampire hunter himself with a witty, dry sense of humor at times, and a merciless killer when confronted with enemies of the Hellsing Organization. For this character even if your voice can’t pull off a perfect impression of the original voice, I would ask that you try your best to match it, if you can, of course.
(with a slight ironic tone) I think I’m starting to feel my age! (curious) That is quite an impressive hold… where did you learn it?
(mockingly, taunting) Oh dear… did I miss? I guess I’m not as spry as I used to be… my name is Walter Dornez! Butler to the Hellsing family, and former master vampire hunter!
Males, around their 50’s or 60’s. Usually cowardly, they are pretty much ordinary old rich men who get caught up in the disaster at the Hellsing Mansion. Remember to use a posh british accent when voicing them. Also, I will choose from some of the auditions to pick out certain members that have more than their original one line.
(confused, somewhat panicked) What? What’s going on? Someone help us!
Any gender, ageless. No real voice type needed for this, if you sound gruff and are up to do some slight screaming and growls… this is the one for you (for the Ghouls, your voices will be edited afterwards to sound more monster-like). For those who audition I will also pick out some for the soldiers that do have lines throughout the video.
For this, I mainly ask for you to give me a series of “battle” screams, pained grunts, and various growls (like zombie growls, preferably). Not much else is needed.
