Project Overview
As the grandmaster who founded the Demonic Path, Wei Wuxian roamed the world in his wanton ways, hated by millions for the chaos he created. In the end, he was backstabbed by his dearest shidi and killed by powerful clans that combined to overpower him. He incarnates into the body of a lunatic who was abandoned by his clan and is later, unwillingly, taken away by a famous cultivator among the clans - Lan Wangji, his archenemy. This marks the start of a thrilling yet hilarious journey of attacking monsters, solving mysteries, and raising children. From the mutual flirtation along the way, Wei Wuxian slowly realizes that Lan Wangji, a seemingly haughty and indifferent poker-face, holds more feelings for Wei Wuxian than he is letting on.
There is a Chinese and Japanese audio drama version of the series but none for English and I want to make that happen! I have all the volumes of the series and really want some friends of mine to experience this great story! This audiobook will be filled with narration, voice acting, sound effects and music for the best immersive experience.

Wei Wuxian possesses an energetic and mischievous personality, caring little for rules and decorum. He enjoys teasing others and flirting with girls. However, once he becomes the Yiling patriarch, he becomes a bit darker and more mellow in his voice and mood. Beneath his carefree attitude, Wei Wuxian cares deeply for those he loves. He possesses a self-sacrificing spirit that ranges from mild risks like sneaking alcohol to his friends in the Cloud Recesses, to being willing to have his dominant hand severed if it means placating the Qishan Wen Clan's ire towards the Yunmeng Jiang Clan.

Wei Wuxian is just wanting to cause some trouble for the village he’s found himself in, after finding out how terribly they treat the man who’s body he now possesses* “While we're on the topic, not only should he not have stolen my stuff, he shouldn't have done so in the middle of the night. Everyone knows I like men. Even if he has no shame,*I* know not to make myself suspicious. .
*This is a scene where Wei Wuxian comes back after being left to die and is basically holding this mans life in his hands and wants some payback. Try to do a slightly deeper/darker/angrier tone* "Repay his kindness? You mean shed innocent blood....to repay your debt?"
*s love confession that he’s desperate to finally say especially since in this scene, they are caught by the antagonist of the story and irs long overdue to say this*. You're really great. I like you...Or in other words, I fancy you, I love you, I want you, I can't leave you, I whatever you.
Lan Wangji has a strong moral compass. He does not care to gain fame and glory from night-hunting; he goes wherever people need help or, as other cultivators comment, "wherever the chaos is." In his youth, Lan Wangji is stubbornly obedient to the rules of his clan, to the extent that he punishes himself for stepping outside the Cloud Recesses at night alongside Wei Wuxian, although Wei Wuxian had actually pulled him outside when tumbling off a wall. However, Lan Wangji does break the rules if they contradict his personal sense of justice. However, internally, Lan Wangji is a passionate person who feels deeply.

As a junior disciple, Lan Sizhui is both well-mannered and organized. He acts as the leader of the junior disciples in the Gusu Lan Clan during their investigations in Mo Village and treats everyone with respect and kindness regardless of status, including Wei Wuxian when he pretended to be the lunatic Mo Xuanyu. He has a kindhearted nature, expressing guilt that the Demonic Left Arm had killed four people in Mo Village and injured many in the Cloud Recesses.

Lan Jingyi has a distinctly loud voice and boisterous personality. Lan Sizhui states that Lan Jingyi tends to be careless and straightforward: he is open and honest about his opinions. Lan Jingyi is hot-tempered and quick to scold Wei Wuxian for his conduct, though he often disobeys the Gusu Lan Clan's rules himself with activities such as talking behind others' backs and sneaking alcohol.

*After being asked if he fired a help signal. Slightly distressed and panicked at the what do we do line* "I did, but if there are no seniors nearby who can come to offer assistance, our people will probably take at least an hour before they can make it here. What do we do? We don't even know what it is right now"
Even in his childhood, Jiang Cheng's character falls under the trope popularly labeled as "tsundere”. Outwardly, he is bad-tempered and often compared to his mother. He possesses a deep inferiority complex about his father's favoritism of Wei Wuxian and his mother's continued reminders that his cultivation is inferior to Wei Wuxian's. He also cares deeply for his family, although can have difficulty showing it.While he often reprimands and yells at Wei Wuxian, he also expresses horror and anger at the idea of Wei Wuxian being hurt. After his sisters death, Jiang Cheng becomes consumed by vengeance and anger. After she gives her life to protect Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng blames him for her death and leads the First Siege of the Burial Mounds against him. He then tortures those who practice Demonic Cultivation out of suspicion that they are actually the returned Wei Wuxian.

*This is said in venting and anger after his father doesn't even acknowledge what his son went through to save Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji who were trapped in a cave with a demonic beast. This should be filled with pain and anger and really showing his inferiority complex.* "It's true! He doesn't like my mom, so he doesn't like me either! Wei Wuxian is actually terrified of dogs and he knows this.* "Break his legs? Haven't I told you? When dealing with those without honor...Just kill them and feed them to your dog."
*Cold, ruthless.* "If you can't catch something presentable tonight..dont bother coming back."
Jin Ling is a prideful and short-tempered junior; his uncle Jiang Cheng claims he has the temper of a "young mistress”.As a result, he often has difficulty getting along with his peers. Jin Ling is acutely sensitive to being an orphan. Jin Ling also has a strong desire to prove himself to the extent that he recklessly endangers his life multiple times. Additionally, Jin Ling is adept at noticing people's thoughts and desires.

Mo Ziyuan is arrogant, childish, and ill-mannered. It is strongly implied that his mother Madam Mo, the leader of Mo Village, frequently reinforced this behavior. He was raised to believe he had the potential and talent to cultivate, but that Mo Xuanyu's disgrace ruined his chances at becoming a cultivator. Resentful and vindictive, he would torment and humiliate his cousin on a regular basis.
He is hot-tempered, as he ignores his mother's warnings to behave in front of the members of the Gusu Lan Clan, choosing instead to react violently to Wei Wuxian's taunts.[3]
Ultimately, his jealousy and sense of entitlement to his cousin's belongings leads to his death when he steals a spirit attraction flag.

A-Ding ( is a servant under the service of the Mo famiy and is the first person to notice that A-Tong's arm had vanished, providing Wei Wuxian the key to deciphering the identity of the unknown creature attacking them.
She eventually passes out from shock and grief.

After being resurrected into Mo Xuanyu's body, Wei Wuxian witnesses A-Tong flirting with A-Ding, another servant, while they discuss the dangerous situation with the Fierce Corpses around Mo Village. In fact, he only assists the Demonic Left Arm's second victim, Madam Mo's husband, because A-Ding glares at him until he helps
