Gacha Office ( The Office Au )

Gacha Office ( The Office Au )

Project Overview

Gacha Office AU is a comedic, character-driven Gacha Life series that follows the chaotic daily lives of a quirky office staff. The story centers on D.B Winslow, the well-meaning but slightly overzealous branch manager, who tries to maintain order in a workplace full of unique personalities. The office includes Phantom, the calm and strict HR; Diane, the charming receptionist; and other colorful coworkers, each with their own quirks, humor, and drama.

Episodes feature office antics, workplace mishaps, budding romances, and unexpected visits from ____, the company president, and _________, the VP. The series blends lighthearted humor with realistic office dynamics, character growth, and interpersonal drama.

Target Audience:

• Teens and young adults (13+). Humor and drama are PG-13 and suitable for a wide audience.

Production Notes:

• Episodes are expected to run 12–18 minutes each.

• This is a volunteer/unpaid project, but all contributors will receive full credit in the final videos and may get shout-outs.

• The project is run by an independent creator and is not professionally produced, so patience and flexibility are encouraged.

• Character designs and details may be adjusted slightly for animation purposes.

• Episodes should ideally be completed within 2–4 months, but timelines may vary depending on collaborators and production needs. (The full animated episode hasn’t been created yet so honestly don’t know.)

Voice Actor Rules:

1. Must have a good-quality microphone with minimal background noise or echo.

2. Must submit lines on time — generally within one week per episode.

3. You may audition for multiple characters, but each character should have a distinct voice.

4. Recording two takes per line with variations is encouraged.

5. Include any relevant sounds (laughs, sighs, exclamations) with your recording.

6. Must be comfortable collaborating with an independent creator, understanding that scripts and schedules may evolve.

7. All characters are listed as " General North American Accents " but we are open to hearing other accents!

Communication & Workflow:

• Scripts, line distribution, and all project communication will be handled via Discord (user: madnessmanor).

• Lines should be submitted as audio files in clear quality.

Script Distribution & Confidentiality:

  • All episode scripts will be shared via Google Docs.

  • Voice actors, animators, and other collaborators are trusted to keep scripts confidential until the episode is released.

  • Scripts may contain spoilers, so sharing outside the project is not allowed.

  • This system allows for easy updates, revisions, and collaboration.

  • Once lines are recorded, actors will submit audio files back via Discord.

Credits & Recognition:

• All contributors — voice actors, writers, animators, and artists — will be credited in the episode description and at the end of videos.

Creative Goals:

• Deliver a fresh, humorous, and relatable take on office life through Gacha Life.

• Build a recurring cast of engaging characters with story arcs, humor, and workplace dynamics.

• Create shareable, fun content for YouTube while encouraging creativity and community involvement.
