Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged Additional Casting
Project Overview
Hi I am Matthew Hall aka Echelon
I am one of the Head(s) of Department for Works In Progress Entertainment, we are a group of voice actors and editors who abridge anime and hopefully more in the future. Currently we are working on several parodies including our abridged series of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and other various anime and other animations.
We are now casting some of our secondary characters and one of our main characters
If you are going to audition for one of the character roles please give each line at least 3 takes so that we can get a sense of your range with the character, and please feel free to audition for as many characters as your want/can voice as the more roles you get casted in the more time you'll have to spend recording lines with the director(s).
Also if you are casted please understand that the director of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged will want to live direct you in order to get the best possible line recordings.
Also anyone cast will be made a full member of Works In Progress Entertainment.

Van Hohenheim is a deceptively ancient and extremely powerful Alchemist as well as the estranged father of Edward and Alphonse Elric. Despite disappearing suddenly during their infancy, Hohenheim returns during the course of the series in order to right the wrongs of his mysterious past.
For this character, I require a strong and booming paternal voice, he is man that has lived many lifetimes. Please don't over extend yourself when portraying this character. I would also like you to get as close as you can voice and tone wise to his dub actor John Swasey.
(wistful as if he’s thinking back on his long life)
“I thought living forever was nothing but exhausting. But since I met you and our sons, for the first time I felt glad to be alive. It was a full life."
(You are confronting Father about why he removed the seven deadly sins from himself in a somewhat sullen tone)
You've certainly mellowed out... you used to be fun, full of life and emotion. Lust, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, and Pride. Of course, excessive want will destroy anyone, but those same desires are necessary to understand what it means to be human. Why did you rid yourself of them?
(Furious)

Nina Tucker was the young daughter of Shou Tucker, the "Sewing-Life Alchemist".
For this character I'm looking for a voice close to her English dub actress Brina Palencia
(Excited) “Look, Daddy, look! Alexander caught a hobbit!”
(Gleefully) “Yeah! Gold is gold!”
(say like you’re about to tattle on someone) “Big Brother is reading a naughty book! Ooh, I’m telling daddy!”
Elicia Hughes is the daughter of Maes and Gracia Hughes
For this character I am looking for a voice similar to her English Dub actress Cherami Leigh
(Say like you’re being tickled) “Stop it poppa, you’re all prickly!”
(In a cutesy yet demeaning voice) “Big idiot… Little idiot!”
(In a child-like indignant tone) “No! Uncle Roy told me that your names were Big Idiot and Little Idiot and Uncle Roy would never lie to me.”
