Forbidden - Sims 4 Movie

Project Overview

“Forbidden” is a cinematic Sims 4 machinima reimagining of the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, set in a stylized version of Ancient Rome.

Orpheus, a gifted musician blessed by the gods, lives a quiet life until he meets Eurydice — a woman whose beauty and spirit move him beyond words. But their love is short-lived. After a tragic and unjust death, Eurydice is pulled into the Underworld, leaving Orpheus consumed by grief.

Unable to accept her fate, Orpheus journeys beyond the mortal realm, using nothing but the power of his music and the weight of his sorrow to plead with Hades for her return. What follows is a descent into darkness, temptation, and divine judgment — where even love must obey the rules of the dead.

This is a story of passion, loss, and the painful cost of looking back.

Role assigned to: James Tabor

A demigod and the son of Apollo, Aristaeus appears charismatic and well-mannered at first — but beneath the surface lies arrogance, obsession, and a dangerous sense of entitlement. He believes Eurydice belongs to him and will stop at nothing to possess her. His actions set the tragic story into motion.

Voice Notes: Smooth, commanding, but with an unsettling undertone. His voice should charm first, then gradually reveal control and menace.

Voice description:
  • male young adult
  • (Charming, persuasive) “Eurydice… you know I’ve always admired you. Why keep pretending you don’t feel the same?”

  • (Controlling, dark) “I am the son of a god. You will not reject me like some common man.”

  • (Angry, unhinged) “You would rather run to a minstrel than stand by my side? So be it — let fate decide!”
