Project Overview
Hiya lovelies! My name is Vesperia, I'm the head director and owner of Vesperia Productions.
WHAT IS FLUTTER?
Flutter is the first addition in a series of mini-movies following the romance of different couples. In this first movie, we follow Angela and Marin. The eldest daughter of Saintinine, a wealthy and powerful kingdom in which is feared by many and has aggravated more. Marin is the second in command of a rebellion, tasked with tearing down the kingdom. However, never did she expect such an inconvineince as falling in love with the princess she intended to assassinate.
CRITERIA TO AUDITION
There is no minimum take requirement for auditions, don't do more than 3, my sweet spot is 2.
Send your Discord in your audition.
Specify whether you are okay with being cast for another character in your audition.
You must be 13+
You must be okay with cursing.
You must be okay with yelling.
You must be willing to follow VP's rules and VA guidelines.
You must be willing to voice act in the next additions to Flutter.
You must have decent audio quality. (I don't care what mic you use, you can use your phone mic. Just have minimal background and clear audio.)
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I'M CAST?
You will be interviewed to ensure you understand the rules and VA guidelines. Continuing on, you will be sent the main VP and Flutter server and given your role.
WHAT ARE THE VP VA GUIDELINES?
A series of rules for our VA's to make editing audio and recordings easier for myself and our audio engineers.
1. Editing Standards : Please remove any errors or bloopers from primary line submissions and place them in the designated bloopers chats.
2. Recording Sequence: Ensure that lines are recorded in the specified order.
3. Scene Separation: Record scenes separately, placing all lines within a scene into one file.
4. Take Limit: Limit your recordings to a maximum of two takes per line. For questions regarding inflections, feel free to direct message me or any available admin.
5. Audio Quality: Avoid instances of peaking or excessive quietness in your lines. Utilize Audacity or other appropriate programs for line editing. Alternatively, submit lines to the line dump for initial editing. Note that overly quiet lines may necessitate resubmission for volume adjustment.
6. Pronunciation Accuracy: Make sure that character names are pronounced correctly. There should be pronounciation guides up and pinned in news chats, if not, feel free to shoot me a direct message or consolidate an admin.
7. Editing Consideration: Allow a one-second interval between lines to help lines become easier cut during the editing process.
8. Submission Protocol: Submit all lines in their respective episode/scene chats for streamlined organization.
We will have opportunities up for our audio engineers to edit your lines for you, if for whatever reason you are unable to. We will also have pronounciation guides (both written and audio) up for you to reference.

Role - Protagonist, she is the princess and soon to be queen of Saintinine.

Background - She was raised in a strict house-hold, always pushing her to do better and better and better- she’s been set up with prince Phoenix from the kingdom of Arbitrary however she falls in love with a rogue soldier who attempts to break into her bedroom in the middle of the night- their original plans being to murder her.
Extra Space - She is 17 years old and about to turn 18. She has strived her whole life to become fit in her mothers eyes for the throne, however.. Her mother absolutely refuses to bestow such upon her.
What am I looking for voice wise?
Smooth, medium, medium-deep or deep. Polite, respectful and calm, though you need to be able to show a variety of emotions within dialogue- especially that of anger and sadness.

Name - Marin Fasmal Rasted
Role - She is the rogue soldier who breaks into Angelica’s bedroom to kill her, only to see she is breaking down about becoming the queen. Marin is a huge equalist and is the second in command of the Perfide rebellion, adopted daughter of Kallias Vetle- the leader of the Perfide.
Gender - Female
Sexuality - Pansexual
Personality - Straight forward, bold, confident
Background - She’s an immigrant who moved here from the kingdom of Latenania when she was 4 as her mother sent her off from the kingdom in which drowned in poverty and to one of the greatest kingdoms known- Saintinine. She was put in foster care until the age of 13 in which she decided to apply to become a soldier, however because of her immigrant status she was shunned.
Extra Space - She is 18.
What am I looking for voice wise?
Raspy, not as clean, though I'm open to anything, medium, medium-deep or deep. Sarcastic. Marin is a loner character, they don't show a lot of their emotions and respond quick and snappy quite a lot of the time. Though, you definitely must be able to display anger.

Role - Leader of the Perfide, a parental figure to Marin.

Personality - Strict, playful, commanding, showing.
Background - They are the leader of the Perfide and mastermind behind the organization. As well as the primary antagonist.

Any voice type, I'm looking for a playful tone, though in some lines/scenes you must be able to convey a serious demeanor. For the first line, please speak it as though it were a speech- the rest may be used with said playful tone and demeanor. They're sarcastic and coniving.

Background - She is the Queen of Saintinine and more than reluctant to put Angela on the throne as she wishes to stay in power for as long as possible.

Role - Emilio is Isabelle’s best friend and he has a huge crush on her, he’s always there for her, however eventually he decides it’s not worth it as she doesn’t appreciate him back.

Personality - Cocky, show off, stubborn, comforting/caring
Background - He moved to Saintinine from Latenenia to get away from poverty, he met Isabelle and Marin and became friends with them, he didn’t like Marin all that much because she had Isabelle, but respected the fact they were happy.What am I looking for voice wise?
Any tone, medium range. A lot of his lines within this movie are exasperated/worried. Though you must be able to convey all emotions well.

What am I looking for voice wise?
Any tone and range. Cocky, arrogant, playful. However, you must be able to convey anger especially- though all emotions are important in this role. Line two should show off such anger.

Role - She's Angelica’s sister, she falls in love with Phoenix in whom her sister is supposed to marry. Her and Phoenix get involved in a few hookups before Phoenix breaks the news to her- he doesn’t want her, or Angelica for that matter, he’s doing this for his kingdom. We watch Penelope’s heartbreak.

Personality - Hot headed, upbeat, childish
Background - She was raised in the same environment as Angelica, however since she’s the youngest and wasn’t in line to be given the crown- rules weren’t enforced so harshly.

Background - She was abandoned by her mother at the age of 9, after living on the streets of Saintinine, she met Marin who basically saved her.
